Hi i was wondering if anyone else was having this issue. Occasionally my phone will beep and vibrate as if a message has shown up and when i unlock the phone nothing is in my handcent sms app or the stock messaging app. i have seen that the messages were sent by the sender but my g1 seems to lose them after recognizing them as coming in.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
About the nexus randomly refusing to send texts when I have full bars and 3g, is there a way I can make my superphone send text messages again without a reboot? And is there something done by the user that causes it or is it just another screw up? I ran a search :
http://www.google.com/m?hl=en&gl=us...droid-browser-key&q=nexus+one+texts+wont+send
but all of the posts I found included failed calls but I'm pretty sure I can still make calls so I don't know if my issue is different. Thanks
P.S. is this considered a bug in that we can expect a fix from Google? And is there an organized system open to the public not just of all the bugs but of all the bugs we can expect Google to address? I think I've seen it before but I can't remember how to find it. I ran a search but this is as close as I got.

I don't have an answer as I have this issue randomly also.
I didn't have it for a few weeks and this week suddenly it happens everyday. Besides rebooting, nothing I do fixes it.
One weird thing is I can still send text messages through Google Voice, but sms and "sometimes" phone calls don't work. It's sooooooo frustrating!!
i have not ever experienced this issue, but i read about it alot. is it because you guys are using the stock messaging app, and i have been using handcent since day 1?
possibly. ive used the native messaging app almost exclusively, but chomp had the same issue for me.
Lately, after a few failed attempts I can get the message to send without a reboot maybe 25% of the time, on the other hand the problem seems to be becoming more frequent for me...wish i knew more about this stuff.
I have started to have this problem and because I'm quite pedantic it's rather annoying me.
I've been using chompsms since I had the T-Mobile G1 and never had a problem with it, but in the last few days the native messaging app has just decided to start pushing notifications again even though notifications are turned off. While it's nothing major, it's bloody annoying!!!
I've tried numerous roms, it's the same in every one, I've tried freezing the native messaging app in titanium and then I didn't receive any messages at all. I've even tried a different messaging app and still the same. I know it doesn't really effect anything apart from my sanity. Has anyone come across anything like this before cos if I don't work this out soon, I'm gonna have pulled all my hair out lol
Using the OEM SMS app sometimes texts will take forever to send or not send at all. Sometimes it will send the same message multiple times but only appear once in my phone. May have started after Oreo update. Anyone else seeing this?
Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I have a Samsung A71 and every now and then I get a voice notification been read out that I have a SMS message from someone from my contacts. I also get the same thing if I have a new WhatsApp message from any of my contacts. I have tried to google it and tried playing around with my phone but I cannot figure it out.
Once I restart my phone, I have noticed it doesn't read out the notification anymore but happens again in a few weeks and that's what I have noticed.
Can anyone please suggest any remedy for that or has anyone faced this situation.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
