Hello,
when I put one of the Live wallpapers on my Galaxy after 12 hours or less I get old non live wallpaper. Why is that ? Every time I choose live wallpaper is ok and then after some time the phone restores normal photo that was before as wallpaper !? I really dont have a clue why is that, on my Task Manager I have ignored those live wallpapers that I have downloaded.
Can someone please help me.
Tnx
BUMP ! Anyone ?
Maybe u didnt ignore some system apps in ur taskmanager and they are resposible to set ur wallpaper. Anyhow u shouldnt use a taskkiller at all

I have uninstalled Task Manager and I dont use it anymore since my battery was good for only 12 hours, now its back on 24-36 hours. But still my live wallpapers cannot work over few hours. REally stupid problem to have...
Have u tried a different one?

Oh. I dont have a custom rom. Im on stock. Is there an app that can do this?
All i know is how to recalibrate "with" root. So if you ever root your phone... let me know
Can you write it here?

Hi,
Today when i check my phone the display was not filling the entire screen. there seems to be a black border.. .i.e the display is 1 mm shorter than the actual screen size.... i dont think it was there before today... but may be i dint notice...
can u guys confirm if u too have the same kinda display ?
erhm,yes,same here.
So, we cause a triple murder before breakfast, start a race war before dinner - that's uh, that's a pretty good day.
Are you getting this in all the apps and even on the homescreen as well? If your not getting it.. then I would suffice that it is just that app that your running now that might not be optimized completely on the screen grids/borders of your Note.
Now if your getting this as well in all of your apps including the homescreen/lockscreen.. My second question then would be... are you on stock ICS ROM or on a custom one?
Some custom ROMS have some light blue border that is faintly visible when your trying to look at it. Nothing of a big deal though (to me in particular) as I know this is just a ROM (and therefore a software) issue and not on the hardware one (which would give me much more of a headache if that really happens)

the printscreen is within an app, cwn you show one from the launcher?
Also are all of your running a specific dpi?
no I have not changed any dpi settings. The pic I uploaded is a photograph n not a print screen.

Anyways I'm learning to live with it... But I am not sure if it's the default display size. If some more note users can check and give a reply it will be helpful as 1 already seem to be having the same display

hahahahha yes @compacity always problel with the battery life because i change the rom maybe 3 times a week !! and finally when i found a nice and cool one here we are facing troubles so any suggestions Compacity !!
use greenify to control app thats always running, always set brightness (close autobrightness or light sensor) if it got dark theme, use it, amoled doesnt use any led for pure black color. In kernel option, do not OverClock. Close daydream n freezing any app that ur dont use using Titanium Backup (but do this at ur own risk). close any gsync.
thats all, but still, battery saver is not an option.
well.... i see here u enjoy ur fone but please be extra careful when changing or applying any kernel/ROM/tweak.

To add to this (sounds like my daily usage lololololol),
Turn off wifi and 3G when you don't need it, turn off Auto-Sync (its under Data Usage in settings), under Developer Settings tick the long-press back button option (if its there) and the "Don't keep activities) so you at least can be sure that some apps properly close.
You can disable apps under the Apps manager in settings if you don't really want to use Titanium Backup.
Even underclock your kernel if you want and change your governor to conservative or the like, if you don't mind sacrificing performance (although from what I've heard MIUI is pretty solid as is).
But yeah, compacity, sounds like a really good list

or u can use tweak script for auto for force closing app in background n liquidity.
but mr Soryuu, 'tick da Dont Keep Activity' is not recommended, cache quite important in android, if u keep deleting cache background process, it will only drain ur battery n burden da cpu to create it back, eventhough u got more space on RAM, but seriously, RAM is for USAGE, not keep in safebox

Oh really? Never really played around with the Developer Settings (haven't really needed to) so I have no idea... But fair point there, that makes sense. I keep forgetting that RAM is for usage -_-
