[SOLVED] How to change the default wallpaper when creating a Custom ROM? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As you can read in the title.
How can I change the default wallpaper when I'm cooking an own ROM?
Like Tayutama changed the default wallpaper in his ROMs.
I'm glad for every hint!
//EDIT
Found the answer myself!
It is in /system/framework/framework-res.apk
--> then in \res\drawable-hdpi-v4
The file is called default_wallpaper.jpg
XDA ftw!

-Launcher.apk(extract apk)
-Rosie.apk(sense rom)
-(Theme name)Lightshow.apk,nature.apk,etc(MtSlide rom)

framework-res.apk
res-->drawable-->default_wallpaper.jpg
Its in framework-res.apk you can extract the apk using 7zip.
pull the framework-res.apk from /system/framework off of the phone.
Once its extracted look in res/drawable-hdpi the name of the file is default_wallpaper.jpg
This rom works great, however when I try to change the Homescreen wallpaper and select a wallpaper from astro file manager, I get FC every time. If I use the built in wallpapers, it works.

WHAT ROM? Maybe you should post in the thread of the ROM you're using, just in case that's part of the issue.
Instead of resurrecting a dead thread. No offense, but come on.
wrongly posted... nothing specific for htc droid eris, so deleted...
haha wrong thread
Is there a way to replace the default wallpaper in the apk? Every time the UI crashes I keep having to look at this crappy blue and purple wallpaper.

Help with Go Launcher EX Theme Creator

Im trying to create a couple Go Launcher themes using the Theme creator Beta. I have all my environment variables set up correctly, I can run the editor. My problem is that when I try to add a custom image the editor wont allow me to finalize my selection and actually add it into the theme. Also, I can't export the theme into a .apk ...
I'm really not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong, and I'd love someone to help me out

If its a sense rom, its in framework-res.apk.
You need to open it, go to /res/drawable-hdpi and the file is defaultwallpaper.jpg

and I do change the wallpaper in this address ==> system\customize\resource (Azooz , Azooz_grid , Azooz_panel and Azooz_panel_land )
then I change this line In file "build" :
dev.defaultwallpaper=/system/customize/resource/Azooz.jpg
Any mistake in my work?
If its a sense rom>>>
yes It's sense 3.6 , ICS
Never tried that method.
I think the problem is that it only works on the default HTC stock skin, by the video it seems you're using burgundy or something

When you change the default wallpaper in the framework-res.apk, you need to hit apply for the default HTC skin under settings--> personalise for the wallpaper to appear
When you set another skin it will set that wallpaper. Is that what you asked?? Sorry, I can't see what the phone says in the video

Yes thats how i thought it had to be done but after some digging around the location is actually /system /customize / resource. Also the name of the zip must be changed to htc_bootanimation.zip
A bit of a troll to work out but once i changed it to another animation it cleared up all the issues with slow bootup on that rom. interesting, no idea how that works...

On all Sense ROMs, the location of the bootanimations is /system/customize/resource and then change bootanimation whatever the original bootanimations name was, finally set permissions.
On AOSP/AOKP ROMs, the bootanimation is in /system/media
