urgent help

i had kaiser and i instal some of the roms on it but the last rom didnot appear any sound of the mobile it vibrate only no sound at all then i install another rom the same problem please help no sound at all what can i do

Go back to the ROM that did work, or search for the fix (if there is one) for that ROM. Did you install the ROM named
rusty_hook_v4_I_have_no_idea_what_ROM_you_are_using ?

Was it a Windows Mobile 6.1 rom?

you hear no sound because you did not install the appropriate radio for the cooked ROM. Search the cooked ROM thread and find out which radio to use or even easier loook through forums and people usually put the ROM they are using and the RADIO version as a signature on their name. Once you do that you should be fine. I had the same problem and I was going psycho but i figured it out.

you really didn't solve the problem you just avoided the fix. Re-install the ROM you really wanted and do a search in the forum for Kaiser Radios... maybe someone would be kind enough to post a link to the thread. Flash the radio into your device and you should be fine, i promise. You may also need to download the Keyboard fix because the keys may be thrown off by one on the keyboard after the rom update. You can find that in the CAB Collection Tread. C'mon people lets not be lazy.

gqstatus0685 is right - install the rom you want to use then look here to install the correct radio.

Hi am newbie in Windows Mobile, my phone right now is 1week old, earlier i was just doing some stuff to my X1, i just installed the HTC TOUCH FLO EXPERIENCE, but now i really don't like it, it makes my phone messed-up, like applications very slow, is not really that good IMHO, now i want to remove this and i want to restore my WINDOWS MOBILE w/ OFFICE OUTLOOK, so please help me..

Did you flash a cooked rom or just installed tf3d?
(this is because you asked the same thing in the Touch-IT 4.0 thread...)

i did a x1_hardspl flash and installed it..
does anybody know here how to remove this HTC Touch-It?
please help..

choose the latest r2a of your country.
if u r in a country without a rom like me (Greece) choose Generic_UK_R2A0010

btw read hard spl sticky again to see how u can go back to stock hardspl (u dont have to ,just for warrany reasons )

i tried 3 of them i think they're all the same, they're all HTC software, i am looking for the stock X1 software, i mean the stock windows, not htc..

you can choose generic rom from this forum

Some maybe HTC but most of them are stock updated ROMs especially the R2A

Hi, I just now got my fist HTC Diamond 2(topaz). It is my first windows mobile phone and I was really excited about upgrading to 6.5, but it is not coming out any soon . However I am little confused how to do that. So can you tell which rom should I use for my HTC topaz. Please step by step... thx... Would prefer most stable Rom,
Is there also dictionary somewhere.. I don't know what all these words me... cooked...radio.. and so on..
(I googled but roms come out very fast.... and couldn't find any good tutorials..)

Cooked Roms:
Our Chiefs are always cooking roms with the newest applications and share them to us.
In the benchmark you can see which rom is the fastest. But I woud suggest you just try them out!

Are you 100 % sure that as a newbie you really need to flash new rom first? Why not to get to know your device a bit before making any changes?

well maybe I will use 6.1 for a month then switch to 6.5..

Some questions

hi guys out there
i'm new to this forum and I like it a lot,
some many files and informations that are useful...
I already have touchflo 3d on my xperia, but now I'd like to flash a new rom.
Now my questions
1) when I do hard spl, do i have to connect the phone in tri.color screen or normal
2) how do i exit the tri color screen, did that by doing soft reset, any other possibility ??
3) Which 6.5 sense rom ??? I'm german so i'd liked to have a fast and stable rom which should be in german . I only would use a english rom if the difference is big
4)Equal which radio I have or do I have to upgrade it too
5) can i use all the programmes i downloaded so far for my xperia with stock rom??

1. follow instructions provided with hard spl program.
2. soft reset the phone or take out the battery.
3. depends on what you want in the rom, every rom has its pros and cons you need to experiment to find the one you like. Not everyone does german language rom, there is no real difference except language and what is included. Most roms are very similiar as chefs use standard packages with their own tweaks.
4. you should keep the radio that comes with the stock rom if it works in your part of the country without problems.
5. yes, you can use all the programs you have downloaded, depending on the rom you may have to download a framework program to get the best usage out of your program.

I'm now between x826 rom and xkans rom
could someone compare them and tell me whether xkans rom is as fast as x826 rom (i read that its one of the fastest and bugless roms)

i want to get rid of the qwerty keyboard, I just downloaded PM reg editor but I cant find hklm/harware... to set CurrLan to german
could someone post a link to an regeditor which is easy
again a question can I use the xperia tweak v2 on 826x rm .?

my phone is stuck into flashing , the bar is nearly at the end but now its showing update in progress since half an hour,
my first flash ysterday only took 5 min.

It's difficult to help as you didn't mention current and new ROM versions...
Maybe a task29 will help (search the forum for the corresponding thread).

I finally got it working agaun over usb, so I'm happy again.
But thx for trying to help me...

Hi guys.I flash my x1 yesterdy with christian rom is windows 6.5 and ver 6.100
Everything its ok exept this.When i press the phone button i see my contacts and the keyboard with the numbers so i can make a call.But when i hide the keyboard and try to scroll down my contacts i get this screen as in the attachment.anyone have a sotution for this? Tnx in advance guys.

Try another sim-card or copy everthing to phone to determine if it is software to rom problem or hardware (sim). Personally I would try another rom, I flashed mine about 8 times and had variuos glicthes from rom to another. Now I sticked to 826x as it satisfies my needs to the most. Hope it helps bro.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it.
Simply I changed to another ROM
