can anyone tell which is best application for switching app running background OR quick accessing other app running in background. cause when i press home button for while it will display all recent app but i couldn't make out which one is running in background.

Playing around with the app manager I noticed that there is in fact a Dialer app that runs, but soon after you bring up the app manager, it hides it from view. It takes a few seconds to do that, so if you scroll down quickly you can catch it, select it and it gives you its info.
Is there a way to modify settings to get that Dialer app to be visible? I have already rooted the tab.
in the apps part of this u can change the contacts app and get the dialer back for vzw still doesnt work if u call it just goes directly to the home screen no fc nothing.

Does this has a shortcut to enable/disable Mobile data? Currently have to go into setting for this. In 2.3.x we could do through the pop up enable through the Power button.
I believe you need to download some 3rd party widget to do that. For me Data Enabler widget works perfectly
Weirdest thing happened, just installed data enabler. But can find it in the widget drawer. :-(

Hi,
I'm facing strange problem with one of the application which I installed on HTC Incredible S. The shortcut is added on home screen. I tried this shortcut to move/remove by long pressing it, but Personalize screen gets open each time. I'm able to move / remove rest of the icons from screen but with this particular app shortcut i'm facing the said issue.
I tried uninstalling application but the icon did not disappear from home screen. So tried re-installing and then uninstalling the application but this also did not work. Even rebooting the application I'm not able to move/remove this app icon.
I'm using
Android version - 2.3.5
Software version - 3.09.720.1
Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

I want to make some silly app. I want: when i close my app (press home button or something) and when i open some other app like Chrome or Facebook that i get Notification from my app?
I make it when i close the app i get notification trough onStop() method but i need notification when i lunch another app?

Hey guys. I have a Galaxy Tab S4 running OneUI on Pie. Rooted. Stock ROM. Samsung has an ability to launch apps in split screen and Pop up windows from recent apps switcher.. I was wondering if it would be possible to use tasker to create a shortcut to open app in pop up view.
Eg. Whenever tab is in landscape orientation, I could press on instagram icon and it would open in a pop up window rather than in portrait mode (I dont5wan5 to force landscape back it looks bad)
