Hi!
I'm opening this thread so that it will contain the skins built (by me and by other users) for Nitrogen 0.2.1 (MP3 player for WM5/WM6).
Nitrogen 0.2.1 is a deprecated release. Check out the player's page to download the latest one!​

How do I install skins?
Nitrogen 0.2.1 does not feature a skin browser/installer, so you have to overwrite the skin.skn file contained in the Program Files\Nitrogen directory on your device with the one you downloaded here. You don't have to close Nitrogen while copying the file, but it's a nice idea to backup the current skin before testing the other.
Can I post a skin that I have made?
Sure! If you want to create skins for Nitrogen, download the Skin Maker (alternative link) and design new skins for the player. You must save the SKN file as skin.skn, compress it in .ZIP extension, host it somewhere and post a link on this thread. Don't forget to provide a screenshot too! This way, your skin can be added among the ones listed on this topic. TIP! Apply Floyd-Steinberg dithering on the images in SkinMaker (there is a button available on the toolbar that does it) before saving, because the images in the SKN file are 16-bit and might have a visible quality loss if you don't "disguise" with some dithering!
Writing, designing and testing Nitrogen takes me time and efforts.
So, if you use it and like it, please donate and buy our developer a snack.​

This is the VGA version of HTC Attempt - it looks exactly the same as the QVGA version.
As I don't have a VGA device with me, I couldn't test this skin exhaustively to ensure everything is working properly. If I've missed anything, please post a feedback here so that I can correct it.

Wow Matt. You are totally awesome dude! Love how it's rounded icons, but doesn't give off that iPhone style lol. Downloading and installing now!

so just one bug. and same as the themeberry theme. easily fixed though. whenever i install the themes the weather stops showing up on s2u2. i install and uninstall the modded version of weather database editor and then it shows up again fine nothing else at all and thanks again

Hea man,
Awesome work......... downloading it where do you get those ICONS from.

Two personal points of view:
1- I don't really like the transparent clock (do you have a cab to reverse it back to white?)
2- the white bar on top of the tab icon is standing out too much and take too much space, considering the size of the image in there. So when you have an email/txt message or miss call, the bubbles hide all the icon.
Hey, it's just my opinion, who care... Overall mate, you have real talent for making theme. New ideas and I have so much fun trying your theme.

Settings>Today>Item - Uncheck TouchFlo 3D

Good job Matt. I haven't had any problems with this theme yet. I am using the Lantis OS ROM without any hiccups.

I'm not Matt but... I believe it is TF3D compatible...considering that's what it is - a TF3D theme...

First I want to say thanks for the kick ass theme. Just one thing I cant seem to figure out. How exactly can I put an image as the wallpaper? I am using NATF rom 4.1. I cant seem to find the TF3D settings tab. Thanks in advance.

When you are at "home" (just your normal standby screen) slide over to Settings...then Tap 'Wallpaper'...then select the image.

With TF3D enabled, Goto the Settings Tab, > click wallpaper, > navigate to the desired wallpaper, > click on wallpaper.

This thread will be updating you with a series of Android Revolution Boot Animations
You need:
HTC Desire HD S-OFF ---> [TOOL] One click ENG S-OFF
Instructions:
Download the file into your PC and extract bootanimation.zip
Send the file to your device using the USB cable or Bluetooth
Use the root explorer application to go to the file location ---> File Expert
Change the application setting to view the main files --> How?
In application click Menu -->More -->Settings -->File Explorer Settings -->Root Explorer
Copy bootanimation.zip from Sdcard to Main: /Data/Local
If sent through bluetooth: bootanimation.zip is saved in Sdcard: /Download/Bluetooth
Click on bootanimation.zip and give it the permission 644 [File Operations] --> View
If Audio exist, send android_audio.mp3 to your device
Copy android_audio.mp3 to Main: /Data/Local also
Click on android_audio.mp3 and give it the permission 644 also
Restart the device to see the changes

I have a bootscreen idea.
based on the original.
here a picture:
shame i cant animate
The idea what could be animated:
"Revolution" - Like a graffiti
"quietly brilliantly better" - Like the stock animation
Start-sound: Sound of a graffitispayer shaking the spaycan and then the "pffh"
font i used for the revolution text: the_battle_continuez (http://www.dafont.com/the-battle-continuez.font)

The startsound ... dont know how to enable it. I have put it in the same folder as the bootanimation.zip
But anyway, in one or two days i will look how to donate on paypal (Never used it)

Sorry for late reply ..
The sound should be included in the same file with bootanimation.zip (data/local).
From my side, the coding that I did should make it work but if it didn't, please let me know so that I can fix it if possible

Unless you have something to add in With case please make sure it’s a 480x800.jpg image. The new wp7 update mango v7200 will not display transparent wallpapers correctly so please no Transparent wallpapers or .png's for now.
It would be best to just pm me & I will Photoshop cut, size, shrink or Enlarge any graphic you may like to add to this thread!

Edit: Update:11/19/11 Okay so This thread has become far more popular than I ever thought it would & because I actually have a lot more content to add but haven’t because my bandwidth is already being used up. I must ask..
Please download the .Zip Files From The. (MU LINKS) Even If You Only Want 1.Of The Wallpapers! If not the previews will disappear before the end of the first week out of the month for everyone if my bandwidth keeps getting used up this fast I will have no choice but to remove the Previews downloads all together. And I pride myself on copying all the links to the previews so that you can see exactly what you’re getting in your .zip files! which is a lot better than not knowing what your downloading to say the least but I start new projects all the time and a lot of my work go's unfinished! I hope this thread only gets better in time! But...
If my bandwidth doesn’t run out before the end of the month & these .zip file uploads fit all your needs then I will be adding a lot more great content & also keep providing you all previews!
