You can VNC in to your device if you install droid vnc server from the market (free).

Hi, i have not found a Remote Desktop client app, and would like to ask if anybody knows anything about that. I come from windows mobile world and this is a very important tool for me to connect to the office.
No remote desktop app?
Ok I have been in the same boat as I had a Uni w/WM6 using logmein for remote desktop. With that being said I have the G1 and could not connect. I found a way! Use Operamini which was just released on the market and you have the option of switching from ActiveX (which the browser doesn't really support to HTML which would be fine. ActiveX option is available but it is slow as HTML..
Good Luck fellow droids
I am about to order HD7.
One app that I cant live without is remote desktop app. (Real Vnc.)
Is someone using any kind of remote desktop applicatoin on HD7?
Thanks.
Nope, there is a remote pc app but the reviews are awful
I wish they would have just included this on the phone, I mean it is Windows.
I'm surprised they haven't, winmo6.5 had a stock remote desktop client IIRC.
Its a new OS, you're going to have to give the apps time. Its just about to launch in the US so i imagine that should open up a lot of new apps soon.
I have VNC as well as Teamviewer Clients running on SD Froyo with no problems. Does anyone know of a working Server?
Would very much like to control and view the NC from my pc.
BTW... there is a so called "droid vnc server" which does not work.
Remote access
There are a few ways you can go: (Sorry I don't have the links but a search should provide them)
Samba server - do a search here on the forums (free)
File Expert - has a built-in HTTP server (Market - free)
WiFi File Explorer Pro (Market - paid)
Thanks... but what I am looking for is a "Remote Control" Server .
Like VNC, where I can view and control the NOOK or any android device from a windows or Linux VNC viewer
Gotcha
Gotcha - my misunderstanding...
I have that for my iPhone - it would be cool to have control of the interface.
WEBKEY
I have not confirmed this works on NC yet but I use WEBKEY everyday on my epic while at work. It works like a charm, I leave the phone in the other room and control the audio and sms via the network. works over the internet as well as local network.
Hi,
is there a programm to remote control the windows phone 8 smartphone from the pc? With my WM6.5 i had a nice tool even clipboardsync.
Is there also a tool to remote control for example windows 8 or windows 2012 servers
There is no way to remote Control your WP8 device from the PC.
There are lots of RDP-Client Apps in the Marketplace that allow connecting to a PC that has Remote Desktop Services enabled.
is the remote desktop services something different than mstsc is? tried to connect w8 with w2012 but it didnt work. so maybe i need to enable something else so i could also connect my phone to the 2 workstations at home.
is there an official tool for wp8 ?
Hello! I picked up an Amazon Blu R1 HD (16GB) today. My goal is to use it remotely. I rooted the phone as soon a I got it, and installed Teamviewer Host. When I run Host I don't get prompted for root access, and when I try to control the phone the remote side tells me "Remote side does not support remote input". Root Checker does the right thing, so I assume it's properly rooted.
Has anyone run Teamviewer to remote control this device? Is there another remote control platform that would be better?
Thanks in advance!

there are other VNC server options.
I just tried alpha vnc (beta) from play store.
It works but is a beta program so it is not fully functioning, still there are option there. so depending o what you are trying to accomplish. You can try a vnc server app
as for the team viewer app a quick google search shows that the supported device list for the host app does not include this device
