Simply Red - rlToday Theme

decided I'd post my first rlToday theme. I was watching the dark knight the other night and noticed morgan freemans phone had a nice interface and thought I'd make one like it.
couple of things with it thought, I'm not sure how to get the mail to open up to my gmail and outlook seperately or show the unread emails from the seperate accounts, if I could get some help there that be cool.
also, not the best at photoshop so instead of icons I just used text. if anyone knows where I can get some icons that are just white outlines of icons that would be super as well.
doesn't include a background image so you can use any you want

made them from scratch and since im using touchflo2d i cant test it.

these are awesome, thanks!!
I might add some kind of glow effect to them, as I was just looking at the blackberry gold icons and they look alot like these but somehow shinier.

I found that I rarely ever look at the time on the today screen cuz mostly I just look at it on the s2u2 screen.
and I made your awesome icons glow-y

This preview is made in Photoshop and i haven't got a real theme for WM.

Please change that font, it's horrible.

i like the idea that the top bar is "merged" with the tab bar.
however the start icon seems to not fit in with the rest of the theme,
something in monochrome would match better with the concept and will be closer to windows phone 7.
just my 2 cents.

Looks like... my theme .
Except of the top bar which looks like its elCondors.
Why did you chose to use the blue for the top bar as opposed to the black of the bottom one? Seems a bit contrasting.
Hope it'll be original enough to live alongside my own theme .
PS. Take a look at Microsoft's Metro book. Some good stuff on WP7 like theming in there. Should not be hard to find on google (its published as pdf by MS).

maybe you 2 should cooperate and create something better than each theme individually

For first i will use files from nickschots theme, and edit them for more Metro look Of course if nickschots will agree

[ICONS] TallMin *Updated 10/9/2010*

Firstly let me make clear that I have taken inspiration from SimpText by UltraLinx, you can find his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=742449
I loved the idea he had created, very simple and minimalistic, however on my Desire the icons were just too small to be useful for me. Very kindly, UltraLinx also provided the PSD file he based his icons on. From this I amended the colours, the font, the size, as well as some more font options.
The end result is as follows:

All my icons/guides/anything are free, I think that one of the greatest things about android is the community effort, the fact that most people go out of their way, use their free time to enhance the experience of others. Where as I may use a custom rom from a dev here, some may use my icons. Beautiful.

you cant really enlarge them, thats the max android allows (for that font anyway). My UberCon icons are larger tho, you might like them

I guess first thing to say is a big THANK YOU for the kind comments and messages that I've recieved regarding the first icon pack. I secretly hoped that you would like it and, judging by the amount of messages, emails and PMs I've received, it would seem that you did!
Anyway, this is my second release and is really an Icon pack in response to the requests that I've had from you. The pack is smaller by about half, but hopefully contain more of what you wanted.
Anyway, I still love to hear from you so please take a look at the readme file within the zip, then feel free to comment as you wish!

Question: It seems the PNGs don't have any transparency, the corners all have white on them. Is this by design or by accident?

I've never noticed this, but you can always edit the icons to your liking.

Its pretty noticeable. And without the original files it won't look as good as it should if I go around erasing corners. Here's a little comparison

Can you confirm if this is the case with all the icons in pack2? I knew there was transparency issue, but I thought I had resolved it
