[Q]Calendar Widget suddenly stops displaying events and today's date - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As in the screen cap provided.
For some reason my calendar widget has decided to stop showing my events.
Does anyone have the same problem?
EDIT:
Seems that un-syncing all calendars and then re-syncing solved the problem.

[Q] Syncing calendar with facebook events, but times of events are wrong

The dates from facebook that go into my calender are showing up in my calender a few hours off. Ive tried other calendars, and it doesnt seem to help. Right now im using Pure Calender. An event on facebook that starts at 4pm is showing up on my device as 9am. Anyone know whats going on? Ive already tried messing with the timezone on my computer and facebook.
It's a timezone problem with Facebook. The only solution I've found is directly importing my FB events to google calender and just getting them from there.
How do you import the facebook events into google? I think I need to mention that the times only show up incorrect when they are on a widget calender that I have placed on my home screen. The actual calender itself shows them correctly, just the widgets ive used show them hours off.
I have this issue when syncing the TouchWiz calendar with Google calendar. My times is off by one hour, so I checked the timezone settings on both the phone and google's, but none of them were the issue. I still haven't found a solution.
I also replaced the Touchwiz calendar with the stock android calendar, but I still have the same issue.
Any other ideas?
I have same issue on my HTC Desire (2.2). Would be cool if Facebook added time-zone functionality for their events, or if someone made it possible to chose an off-set on your device for Facebook events before importing them into calendar.
You can export Facebook events and/or birthdays and import them into Google calendar with FB application called Fdcal (it has time-zone option). Application is not working flawlessly, I got my events to show into Google calendar, but couldn't export birthdays for some reason.
But this will not solve your issues, because there was no way I could get those events to show on my phone. In Gemini calendar you get an option to check on those additional calendar subscribed on your Google one, but they don't show in my phone either for some reason.
The only workaround I found so far is that once those event show in Google calendar, you can easily duplicate them (save them as Google calendar entries), and those will show once the sync kicks in.
I'm waiting for someone to come up with easier solution

i'm having the same issue, the event is 8 hrs late when it appear in my SGS calendar
Has anyone already solved this problem?
I'm having the same issue with my SGS and the XXJPO firmware.
Well I haven't done anything, but problem IS solved on my HTC Desire for quite some time now. Can't say exactly when it was fixed (or if it was fixed by HTC or Facebook), but event times in my stock calendar that is synced with Facebook are now ok.
On my Touchwiz-Calendar it's working fine, too.
Just in every calendar widget I tried so far, the facebook events are shifted by one hour.
So I am in the time zone GMT+1 but the event gets displayed like I would be in GMT+0.
As a workaround I switched the time zone in my phone to GMT+0, so now the times for the fb-events are correct, but this is causing other problems now.

Bizarre Calendar problem

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a weird problem with my Samsung Captivate's calendar.
I have a 'Work' Calendar that isn't displaying on my phone but displays perfectly fine on Google Calendar on the web. I went into settings and 'Work' is checked off so it should display, but when I go to my Calendar app it is strangely missing. I think this isn't a problem with syncing but rather an app issue. I've tried checking and unchecking, rebooting, creating a 'Work' event (which works but still won't display any of the other 'Work' events I have down), etc but still this one essential calendar won't display in app. Any ideas?
Many thanks!

[Q] Calendar events Disappeared

I am using a Galaxy S with Gingerbread GKG3. I just noticed yesterday that calendar events older than about 2 months have all disappeared from my Galaxy. Repeating events that are still continueing are still on the phone, but 1 time events are all gone. the events are all still on my google calendar (thankfully). Is there a settings that I need to change? what has happened, any ideas?
thanks all

[Q] Google Calendar Sync Issues??

Just noticed that some events established through Google Calendar on the desktop are not syncing to the One. Most events are syncing -- seems to be sporadic and random - I can't see a pattern to the events being omitted.
I discovered the problem when I checked on a reminder I set up during May 2014 as an all day event which did not sync over to the One. I started to poke around and noticed that another event during that same month didn't come over to the phone either. So it isn't just a one time thing. I tried clearing calendar data from the phone and resyncing, turning the phone off and on, deleting and re-adding the event - I even deleted and reimported all my events for the entire calendar through the desktop version, cleared calendar data on the phone and resynced. Still the same certain events that are established in Google Calendar on the desktop are not syncing to the phone.
The final twist is that they are syncing correctly to my iPad calendar. This is what leads me to believe that it is a problem on the phone side.
Anyone else noticing something amiss with some calendar events around a year out not syncing to their phone?
(Also tested using the Google Calendar App in addition to the HTC stock app - same problem regardless of the calendar app)

Calendar Weather format keeps resetting, extra google calendars

On my Xperia calendar, I set the weather units to be in Fahrenheit, but every now and then it automatically changes back to Celsius. Has anyone else noticed this or know how to fix it?
Another side problem I have is duplication of my calendars. I only have one google account synced, yet I see Birthdays and Holidays 3 times EACH in the overflow hamburger menu. What gives?

Yeah. I have the exact same issue with the weather on the calendar. For me, it resets the second I close out of the calendar. I just disabled weather on there altogether.
