Hello everyone! New to the forums here and JUST rooted my Aria over the weekend. In my personal way of giving back I'd like to make available this sweet Omnislash live wallpaper I put together. In order to use the wallpaper, you need the app LWP Creator from the app store. If you can't find it in the app store for what ever reason you can alternatively navigate to this webpage:
http://www.simproduction.com/lwpcreator.html
on your phones browser. Then click the link ownload me (Android only link)
This will take you to the application in the market. Download and Install.
Next you'll need to download my Omnislash folder which simply contains the live wallpaper frame by frame in .png format. You can download that here:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/orzyp29tk2w2rd9/omnislash.zip
After you download the folder, unzip it and move it to your phone's SD Card.
I recommend putting it in the Download folder on the SD Card to make it easy to find but you can put it anywhere you like.
Once it's on your SD Card disconnect your phone from your computer and let the SD Card remount on the phone. Then, on the main screen on your phone, tap and hold on any blank area. As if you were adding a widget or application, and scroll down to wallpapers on that menu.
Then scroll down to live wallpapers at the bottom of the next menu. If you don't see the live wallpapers option the livewallpapers.apk is not installed on your phone. If you need help installing that just post, I or someone here will help you.
In the live wallpapers you should see an option called LWP Creator. If you do not see this option you do not have the LWP Creator app installed (See above). If you do have the app installed, tap the LWP Creator. There should be some yellow text on the screen talkin some nonsense about folder paths. Ignore that.
Tap settings on the bottom right. In this menu make sure "Sd card?" is checked which it should be by default. Then tap folder path just below it. Navigate to where you put the Omnislash folder on your SD Card. After you find the folder, tap it.
You should now see several files named 01.png 02.png 03.png etc... Select the third option on the bottom of the screen called select all. There should now be a red X next to all of the png files. Now tap Submit, the left option.
It will now take you back to the main settings screen. Here you can edit the framerate of the wallpaper and the Placement and Sizing. I just set the frame rate to 60 fps and that looks nice. It still looks nice on lower frame rates and lower framerates are more battery efficient.
Then on the Placement and Sizing option, select Middle (No resizing). After setting the options tap the back button on the phone and you should see the animation playing! If so tap the set wallpaper button on the bottom left and watch as Cloud Strife rapes face behind all your awesome apps. If you didn't see the animation you did something wrong and need to read all this again -.-
I hope who ever uses this enjoys it, I know I do. And thanks again for all the people that helped me make my Aria as awesome as it should be,
Enjoy!!!
Here is a link to the video I used to make the wallpaper. The wallpaper plays from 1:02 to the end of the video. It does not include the little screen that the person put in that video if you happen to see that when you click at 1:02...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7ec6lcDnhQ
Since no one has commented id like to be the first to say that its amazing great job i just wish there was a way the images could fit the whole screen

First off, thanks for the reply! I was beginning to think there were no FF7 fans on here... heresy I know... Secondly, it does in fact hit the whole screen! Return to the LWP Creator via the method explained above. When you enter the settings screen, look for a scaling option. I made the wallpaper to fit perfectly in landscape mode, I'm guessing it's not fitting because you use your phone in portrait mode, I still have all of the original files, I guess I can also upload a portrait version, will post a link soon. Thanks again for enjoying it!
Ugh, nevermind... Sorry, but resizing the video for portrait mode makes it stretch in an ugly way. It's basically the same as the normal wallpaper viewed in portrait mode, only stretched vertically a bit more, still has black bars on the top and bottom... Unless you REALLY want it I'm going to hold off on making it...
If you're using CM6, R01, you could do what I do and use the phone in constant landscape mode. The ADW allows for the actions on upswipe and down swipe motions on the screen. I have my phone set to only 1 home screen, so no scrolling.
Then, I have the 5 ADW action buttons over on the right, they also have no background and look very nice. (click link for pic!)
http://www.mediafire.com/i/?0e42r757wh26xsu
Then when I slide down, those 5 disappear and 5 new ones appear with the faded black on the right. (click link for pic!)
http://www.mediafire.com/i/?9p09c9d6con9297
Then sliding up on the home screen brings up my app drawer. (click link for pic!)
http://www.mediafire.com/i/?khy9fg14x56gldg
Also, I have the Power management widget with a transparent background off to the left. This setup makes it very easy to get to any of my apps without the need of multiple home screens, plus, the omnislash LWP looks amazing. I'm also running dumfuq's OC kernel at 806Mhz. This runs the wallpaper incredibly well, (plus it allows for 100% super nintendo emulation with sound! (doesn't help with PSX very much though -.-)) Check out these pics!
I really hope people, especially FF fans, check this out. From one fan to another, this came out REALLY well, and it's by far the best final fantasy wallpaper out there, and believe me, I checked...
Also, if you're feeling particularly lazy... feel free to post a youtube URL along with the start and stop times of a live wallpaper you'd like and I'd be happy to get it for you. They will be formatted to work with the LWP Creator app with the instructions provided in the first post. Try to pick short clips, for example, the omnislash wallpaper is about a minute long, the LWP Creator allows for 300 total frames, this allowed the video to be about 9.5 frames per second. The shorter the video, the more FPS, more FPS, the better it looks.
I look forward to your requests!
Yea i use my phone in portrait mode but no prob man i love the wallpaper.

Well after making all those icons I was a little disappointed in how fast my battery was dead from using all those animations and everything. Also the blue squares get bored so I came up with a little more stylish idea. So it looks good as well when I am over at customers.
So I took a new default WAD2 theme (just black screen) and started up all over again, just using the basic items I really use and leave all animation out of it. For two reasons, battery consumption and my X1 is a little to slow to work fast with it;-) During daytime I set this theme as default, simple, stylish, quick and accurate.
It contains in basic just 2 home screens which you can reach sliding upwards or downwards. From those two pages you can enter more pages like applications, weather and games. For applications and games I will add all icons I made in 2 different folders so you can add whatever you're favorites are. I will post them seperately so you can put it on your storage card (because the files are 30MB) If you tap on the time the screens goes off, so saves battery as well.
Applications can handle 24 of your favorite programs.
Games can handle 24 of your favorite games
Calender shows your appointments for the coming week
Weather will show you the weather forecast for the coming 5 days.
VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIs6dRXGaTc
Here a screenshot of the home pages:
It is 40 MB in total:
wadesktop file is 10MB, press it and select the folder "Lakeridge"-"Wisbar Advance Desktop" - "Themes" to install it on your device. After around a minute a pop up screen tells you it's installed. Now start Wisbar Advance Desktop and change theme. Tap on "search for new themes". After a while a pop up screen appears " Have found 1 new theme". Select the PollPixx theme and in menu tap " Set as Portrait theme". Than tap apply! Enjoy....
The 30MB of Icons can be installed on your memorycard.
As I have a Dutch Rom you probably need to redirect the shortcuts. Easy: Just press long on the screen and choose Author Mode. Than press long on the icon you want to change the shortcut and choose properties. Choose Script on Tap and tap Launch a Programm, now tap edit and select the programm from your device. That's all.
In games and application if you want to change program or game, just select another image and edit Launch a Program to the program/game you prefer. All Icons of the most popular Games and Programs are in the zipfile. If you need another one, just let me now and I will make it for you.
Download zipfile over here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZS2J7YWA
Do you have suggestions to make it better without slowing it down, just shoot;-)
Cheers,
Arnold
THANKs
GREAT
keep the work on
I love it
What program do you use to create themes?
In this case I use Wisbar Advance Desktop (obviously) and for all the icons I used photoshop with some plugins from Nik Software to build.
I now want to create an as clean as possible theme which I can use when I am at work. No animation of barely dressed girls or too much colours, just a uniform easy to use theme for during the day. I will make a movie of it tonight.
Cheers,
Arnold

The only thing I used was the "back" Icon, but you know I am a photoshop lover so I can make also one in 4 seconds and that's not a graphic highlight which you can complain about. Switching pages is just in WAD2 as an option which I used. Further on I started over using my own Icons with nothing from you at all. What are you talking about??????
Don't let people think I am just ripping of your theme mister, just download it and you will see it will be all mine which I posted in the icons topic for your theme. As people liked those Icons so much (over 5500 downloads) you might have sold more of your theme, so don't start this discussion, because you will lose on all points my friend.
If you want I change the back Icon, but how pathetic would that be. Further on I can prove the rest is mine, all .psd files are in my computer with the date I made them, so long before you bullsh*t around now.
For christ sake, I even forward people to your site to buy your theme because it is so good, and now you are pulling my leg! Can I at least call this "typical" ???
Cheers,
Arnold
this variant looks free? is it? if so, good for u! You should release a skin for it with WP7 colors too.
Well Midvik is doing the coloured theme and also is rajivshahi, to avoid an overkill of these themes I think I stick with my variant. They do a great job.
Of course what I make is free, that's how it works here at XDA. However, everyone can donate if they like it.

Arnold

Rock on man..im gunna use your icons on my phone is that ok? not a big WP& theme guy your icons are awsome tho.
And dont let them haters(lescro..or however the hell) talk crap. he is just pissed cuz you have better icons and skills.
AND TECHNICALLY LESCRO(AGAIN HOWEVER) you were basing yout theme of Windows Phone 7 theme so technically your jackin there **** to..so dont start complaining when people do a better job then you.
Of course that is okay, that's why I am posting my themes;-)
Well, I am definately not as good as lesscro and have no problem what so ever with him neither, he is good in modifying I am good in graphics (I earn my living making graphics), but it is great fun make those themes. But it is hard to make an original fresh idea
Enjoy

oh, I don'y know anything about animation hubs, Leonardo, maybe you could ask Lesscro how he made that working in his theme. I assume it has some mortscript files in it or something...
Animation
thanks, Pollpix certainly is with Mortscript but okay what about "lesscro" I prefer not having to ask him, I'm afraid to ask him a "donation" to teach me how ... rsrsrsrsrsrsr
is there landscape to this ? btw its beautiful im feeling it.
From reading on here and millions of threads on google, it seems there are lots of people, like me, who don't want wallpaper to be scrollable and want the image they select for wallpaper to be FULLY displayed on their phones....but that irritating crop-box will not allow it.
Soooo, bit of googling and I found this lil BEAUTY called cropwallpaper.
It's freeware on the market.
I've tried it out all day, trust me...lol...and it's AWESOME!!!!
Now got a picture of Megan Fox on my screen WITHOUT her head cut off etc etc.
1st pic is without using the app, 2nd is (displayed EXACTLY as it was downloaded) using the attatched App called, amazingly (lol) "crop wallpaper"
1: Open image in 'Cropwallpaper'
2: select 'overall'
3: select 'set wallpaper'
4: Be as chuffed as me..lol

Great find...thanks, now I can expand my ever growing wallpaper collection to include a bunch of iPhone wallpapers as well without them croping like crap
was waiting for it ! thank u
I was looking for some kind of app like this thanks alot!
Big THX for the great App.
thkz for the find
thx bro....good job n great applcation
As most developers want to keep track of the number of downloads, maybe it's a better idea to put a link in the 1st post instead of an .apk: http://www.appbrain.com/app/crop-wallpaper/jp.juggler.CropWallpaper
Sincerely,
Mac
Thanks been looking for something to do that.
I use an app that works very well on Market called Wallpaper Wizardrii
finally i found it
thx dude
nice .apk
Do you have down syndrome?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
great find,thanks for sharing
you can also do this without an app. use the .psd template attached and drag your picture into the grey shaded area with your picture. it fits a 480x800 pic perfectly. the sides will be left blank as the psd is 960x800 and your picture will be centered and uncropped. just save it as a .jpg and your done. this works with scroll turned off....of course.
Where can I get some high resolution gtab wallpapers? What resolution do I need?
It seems like you'll want 1024x1024 since the device can be rotated. I just did a Google Image search with 1024x1024 as the parameters and found all kinds of stuff. I just got my tablet yesterday but it seems like it's working well.
You should try my new "Bouncing Clock" Live Wallpaper that I just stuck on the market today!! I'm loving it on my G-Tab and Nexus One right now.

Best advice right here.
If you find they look blurry on your GTab, search the market for an app called "Wallaby".
Also Solar Wind and 3D Starfield are downright purdy live wallpapers that run smooth as silk on the Gtab.

Good advice on Wallaby! I just grabbed it tried a couple of wallpapers and it definitely helps.
Ok, I am beyond frustrated. I am rooted w/Vegan and had zero issues doing that...but getting a wallpaper to actually look like it is suppossed to on my g tab...well that is a completly diffeerent story. I have tried the 1024 x 1024 as well as the 1024 x 600 options. But everytime I find an image I like from google, open it, hold down to bring up the dialogue box to "set as wallpaper" it takes the image and blows it up! It never looks like the image I found from google. I have also saved them to the gallery thinking that the cropping would help. Well, no dice! What am I missing? What am I doing wrong? I am bored by the plain color backgrounds that came with the Vegan rom...can anyone help? Thanks!

^^^^ Multipicture Live Wallpaper (app) allows you to set wallpapers properly. Thanks to Shadowhawk2020 for bringing this app to my attention. Even Wallaby did not work properly, so MLW is the only way I know of to set wallpapers properly on the gtab.
EDIT: OP - try seaching the market for HD wallpapers and Filke HD wallpapers.
EDIT2: Check this post out for what sounds like another app to help get wallpapers scaled properly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13117070&postcount=361

When you go into your wallpapers in flick ur pics, tap on the image you want on screen 1 first and a little #1 will show up on the thumbnail image. Same for screens 2 and 3. Screens 4 and 5 if you have them. I you assign more images than screens you have available it will rotate through them in order when you swipe from screen to screen.
EDIT: It seems that I told you wrong above. I assumed that was the way it worked. I had only 2 images assigned in mine and image 1 would show on my center screen, while image 2 would display on all other panels. When I just tried what I told you above, it randomized the images displayed for the individual screen backgrounds. What I mentioned above may be a good feature request to ask of the dev.
EDIT #2: I have sent developer an email regarding this and have pointed him to this thread. Hopefully he will respond soon, either via email or by dropping in on us here. It would be nice to have him here with us to find our specific needs for our tablets.

Hi All,
I'm Francesco, one of the Flick ur Pics developers
I'm glad to join you in this great forum.
Flick ur Pics allows to choose up to 9 images from your gallery and it shows a random picture when you change homescreen (or when elapse the refresh time, if selected).
Actually you can't set exactly an image for each home screens (i.e.: image1 in the homescreen #1, image2 in the homescreen#2), but we already investigated this feature and if there's a strong request, we'll be more than happy to add it as soon as possible.
Best,
Francesco

Why only 9? I have a collection of hundreds of images that I would like to use, and would hate to be stuck to only 9. Especially since I can't get multipicture live wallpaper to install, so your app seems to be the only option I have.

Hi Francesco,
Im very interested in the one wallpaper per page. I have brought this up in another thread as well. Someone had told me to try flick ur pic but I too found it wasnt setup this way. I think there are a lot of people who are looking for this feature. It works best when you have pages set for certain things. Like a movie page, a games page, a news page, and etc. That would be AWESOME!

Francesco, so glad you could join us. I am sure you will find lots of people here in the gTab forum with several ideas to make Flick ur pics the best wallpaper app for this tablet. I am yet another that would love the ability to set images per screen. Of course you already knew that from my email.
Once again, really glad that you decided to join us. We are glad to have an active flick ur pic dev willing to take the time to get involved with the gTab community.

This is what I’m doing for a landscape orientation with a wallpaper that correctly "scrolls" from left to right and is not distorted or zoomed in on (NON HONEYCOMB ROMs ONLY!!!):
Fist download and install the app "Wallpaper Slideshow" from the market (free). You’ll use that to set the wallpaper (or wallpapers, as it will automatically switch between multiple at intervals you desire. If you want it to show just a single wallpaper, just put that single picture in the folder you tell it to read wallpapers from.
Your wallpaper’s resolution should be: 2048 x 600. To be clear that's a width of 2048 and a height of 600. You may have to crop, pad and/or otherwise resize your image.
Using Wallpaper Slideshow lets you use landscape images in their native resolution (aka not cropped) that are scrollable. Wallpapers in portrait orientation are zoomed in on the center of the image and are scrollable as well.
Setting the same 2048 x 600 wallpaper via the Android (2.3.7) interface does the opposite: portrait looks clear and is scrollable, but landscape must be cropped and is displayed zoomed in, usually off center and extra pixilated. Since I primarily use my tablet in Landscape mode I think I’d rather have the landscape wallpaper looking sharp and clear.
Other apps allow you to set non cropped/zoomed images of the Gtab’s native resolution of 1024 x 600 but usually don’t have any options allowing them to be easily “scrollable”. Wallpapers that don’t have any transaction effects look stale and desktop-y, IMO.
I’m using Cyanogenmod 7.1 RC, but everything should work the same on other non-honey-comb ROMs.
You can use images with a width resolution that's smaller than 2048 and the app will still set them up as scrollable. However, it will zoom in on them the further and further you get from 2048, making them look more and more pixelated.
One more thing, if you have USB storage turned on and you images are on your SD card (internal/external) your wallpaper may not rotate or scroll correctly. Once you turn it off they’ll be fine.
Pics show the same image file as the wallpaper.
this will blow your mind on how crystal clear the wallpapers can be when we use native 1024x600 resolution. this is not some blown up 480x800 blurry wallpapers we always see to acheve wallpaper scrolling wich I always have off cus it lags my scrolling
1. download multipicture live wallpaper
2. download a highdef wallpaper here wowallpapers.com/show_wallpaper/world/england_wallpaper_01_1024x600.jpg
3. go to live wallpapers and select multipicture live wallpaper
4. go to common settings - picture source - single picture and select the high def pic
5. then select crop resize ratio and select Show Entire Picture
6. go back and under drawer settings select transition type and select None.
7.go back and under picture folder selection uncheck double tap to change picture
8.then go to picture change interval select Never
enjoy the most unreal wallpaper on your nook. if u have adw select landscape oreintation only . because potrait kills the wallpaper
Or just check the long-standing steps posted in the OP of a stickied thread in this very forum There is a quick & dirty solution there, but also my steps to get a pixel-perfect wallpaper.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=889951
PS: 1024x600 is too small. You need a bigger image than that if you want to have it move in the background a keep an un-stretched image. We use the same size as the Galaxy, which is 1200x1024. That seems to give me the best results.
that method involves cropping the picture. my method SHOWS THE WHOLE 1024x600 picture (no croping)and its a tottaly diffrent way of the one that's posted on there. and I also mentioned I dont like having the wallpaper scroll at a cost of performance. if u wanna do it your way by all means I'm just sharing my way of doing things. cheers

Well you only need to crop the image if it's not the right size already, which is true of any method of setting a wallpaper, including yours. Not to mention that your method breaks in 50% of supported orientations Hardly "tottaly diffrent..."
And I have no idea what performance hit you are seeing from having a scrolling wallpaper. I've had no issues at all on Android 2.1 or 2.3, both at stock or with an OC'ed kernal. I mean, you're of course welcome to use whatever settings you want, I just dont know what performance hit you're talking about.
Either way, this just seems like a bunch of extra steps to accomplish the same thing that has been posted previously, just with less functionality. I dont mean to sound malicious; I just dont understand what advantage you're offering people.

I mean, you're of course welcome to use whatever settings you want, I just dont know what performance hit you're talking about.
Either way, this just seems like a bunch of extra steps to accomplish the same thing that has been posted previously, just with less functionality. I dont mean to sound malicious; I just dont understand what advantage you're offering people.

wow I have to spoon feed u an understanding of what i acheved. read and read again. u get a 1024x600 native wallpaper on your nook on landscape. no chopping or visible blockyness. if u want a wallpaper that scrolls your method is prob good I never tryed it. but since I DO NOT have my wallpaper scroll I like to have the WHOLE picture visible and none of it hiding on the sides

... I need that gif of a rolleyes emoticon vomiting other, smaller rolleyes emoticons here I think.
Thank you so much
You are a genius cowballz69!!! Not only did this solve my problem and keep me from having to crop, resize, etc, etc, it also allowed me to have random wallpapers, different size wallpapers, etc. And they all scale excellently and look wonderful on my Nook Color! I was even able to mess around with the program settings and get an accpetable workaround for the wallpapers in portrait mode. (I have the mirror effect above and below the image, looks nice.) Thanks again!
Is this 1-1 pixel mapping when done either way?
I haven't even tried putting a wallpaper on other than the defaults yet, too busy exploring other NC features.
I tried every single method out there, this was the only one that really came out nice and crisp. Thanks man.
After reading up, i also tried ES File Explorer's Wallpaper function and got very good results, not as good as your method, but i would prefer to not run a live wallpaper if possible and got good results. I hope a surefire solution to this wallpaper situation shows up for the nook one day. I force the nook to landscape btw.

You need the gift of shutting up and reading the OP. What he has found is BETTER and different than the info in the horribly outdated sticky...

I just tried Wall Switch with 1024x600 wallpapers and it still insists on cropping and otherwise adjusting the pics.
edit:
On the subject of the thread, I'm kind of surprised that this hasn't been fixed yet. Usually you guys jump on wallpapers and themes right after root.
I don't understand why the settings aren't built in that will allow us to just go choose a 1024x600 image, apply it in the correct orientation, and not let it move no matter how the screen is tilted. I don't want my wallpaper to scroll or change at all. That seems like it should be easy to do.

Start QuickPic. Press and hold 1200x1024 picture. Choose Set as. Choose QuickPic Wallpaper. Menu > Save. Full resolution wallpaper!

Hello Guys!
I tried making a Sword Art Online Widget Interface on my HTC Incredible S running on ICS.
preview is attached below. i cant post any links since im new sorry for the inconvenience
2 main applications I used:
Apex Launcher: available on google play
Glaeja : available on google play.
*Apex Launcher works for ICS and Jelly Bean only i think
I recommend installing Apex Launcher first
Apex Launcher setup after installation:
(Not sure this will work though, since settings are from my phone)
1. Download all the attached files with apex on it. Copy on sdcard. (extract zipped files)
2. Move apex_settings.bak to /sdcard/Android/data/apexlauncher/
3. Open apex settings and go to backup and restore
4. Select restore.
Glaeja Setup after installation:
1. Create New Widgets on Home Screen. 1 4x1 Glaeja Widget for the hpbatterybar and 2 3x3 Glaeja Widgets for the bars.
2. Download the skins, images and font files and paste them to the corresponding folders found in /sdcard/com.gmail.kanitawa.glaeja/
3.Select the widgets on HomeScreen and click Load Skin, select the corresponding skin file.
4. Select None on the On Click option.
Notes:
Apex:
-Key Settings:
Number of Screens = 3
Transition Effect = None
Use Tablet UI Mode = unchecked
Minimum Scrolling Time = 2
Show Wallpaper = checked, Mode = Singlescreen
Glaeja:
-For the Name on HP bar just edit widget and then find the corresponding text with Shawn on it. Edit the Display Text. same goes for LV: __
-For Shortcuts of the bar, the shortcuts can be replaced on the Transparent Buttons found on the bar widgets.
There is also a video showing my work on youtube, it has poor quality but it satisfies it purpose. (again sorry for not being able to post links since im new)
Thanks guys! And I hope some people find this post helpful. Comments will be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE:
Uploaded missing file manager icon

Thank you so much for this. It's really great. Took a while but I managed to get it to work with 7 screens to make more like in the Series.
Finally someone is trying to create a nice theme. Props.
OMG I LOVE SAO!
I would love to give this theme a go!
Could you please make a Nova compatible version??

How did you get the Apex buttons to open different Glaeja widget menus,as well as change to the yellow one when clicked? Or did you just make it look that way. Running on SGS3 with CM10.

Help
How exactly do you do all that you did to make it look the way it did in the images. I am completely lost in terms of what to do... I don't really know how to make anything come out as it should and after about an hour of messing around with everything I gave up on trying to figure out from the directions that were given... Can I get a step-by-step instruction as to how you set it up? thanks
Hey! Your SOA theme looks really amazing! I tried to set it up, but my apexlauncher wasn`t in the SC card?? Is there a different way to insert the settings into apex launcher?
Yea your instructions dont really help at all. Even had to create the folder for the apexlauncher but i somehow think that the settings backup didnt do anything at all. An howto would be very appreciated since it does look very good.

Just a heads up. You can use any images for the icons, any images for the widgets/text/etc. Once you grasp what is happening and put a lot of time into it, your imagination is the limit.
I'll try to explain what is happening here, that I see. I have a similar "tabbed' style setup on my tablet. I'm using Nova and a quick one button tutorial you can easily do to see what is happening goes as so...
1. Press and hold blank spot on screen, press Nova actions, then press jump to page, and select page 2 (this will be 2nd from the far left of your setup, adjust accordingly). Now you will have an icon on your screen.
2. Press and hold the icon, select edit and you can replace the icon with any image you see fit. Now you have your "button". For example sake, lets say you have an icon/text that you want to have media stuff brought up.
3. Now on page 2, which should be blank (no icon), you will want to make the same 'jump to page icon' again, this time in a color of your choice, so that it looks "selected." Obviously this means you will have to edit/color your image/text as you see fit. I colored my "media" icon text, the color blue for example.
4. Next up, now that you have a colored icon on screen 2, making it look selected, is to fill up screen 2 with media stuff. You can use the images he uses, or just widgets already in your phone, or the above glaeja app that looks like it can be useful here. Your widget can be text that has click actions, that open up apps etc. It looks like the OP has placed the arrow icon on this page as well as to give it more of a this is what you selected look. The options are endless.
So then you just repeat that process with icons on screen #1 that jump to the other pages of you phone, that have been edited to have the content on them you're going for. It's painstaking, but hopefully I've made a visual for you that sheds light on what is going on and once you grasp that, you can make anything.
Very creative work by the OP here, just wanted to share my thoughts for the last couple posters that are having a hard time. I can make a tutorial if necessary. :good:

Essentially, you are going to create all of your screens to have the 5 "button" vertical layout (or however you want it to be, 4 buttons, 8, etc). Your main screen, they will be all white it color (again whatever color you choose) and swipe one screen to right, have the same 5 buttons vertical, but the one icon you want to make look "selected" have it yellow, in this instance and also on that screen would be the corresponding widget with the images and icons/text you want to look like it opened. How this works it when setting launcher to no scroll on wallpaper, and setting the button as a widget action to turn to page '2', it flings the screens to screen 2, where one icon is "selected" and there is different content on the screen (the widget, ie looking like it opened a menu). search on youtube for tabbed setup for android and you'll see setups alike.
