[Boot Animation] Android Honeycomb Carbon Fiber

I don't really know what to call it... but I'm excited about this boot animation that I made. lol So, figured I'd share it with all of you.

Attached are two versions:
bootanimation_v1 is like the animation shows, the... swishy thing only goes one direction.
Here's the link for the first boot animation: LINK
bootanimation_v2 the swishy thing goes both directions. I was just too lazy to make another animation for it.

I like this a lot but I wish it was high def so I could use it on my nexus one.

How do I do that? I noticed that the resolution isn't that good on my phone (Droid) compared to what it should be... like when I look at it on my computer. I think there's some compression... but don't know how to fix that.

I've never done a bootanimation before, but I do know that in order to be hi def (nexus one, incredible, etc) the images should be 800x480. Right now the images are 455x256 which is almost half as what they should be so that's why the resolution isn't very good. I don't remember from the top of my head what the resolution for the Droid is but I can assure you its not 455x256 either. Once all the images are changed to the correct resolution, then just change the size in the desc file and it should work.

Haha. Welcome. I wasn't sure it was going to work. I did have it through the Tonido file share thing... but it doesn't work when my computer is off. So... had to think of another way. Haha.

[THEME] Simplistic Fixed, Try Now!

Hi so this is my promised simplistic.i have a galaxy I9000! not a Fascinate, so you guys will have to test and see whether it works or not and to make it perfect.
This is based on DJ05 Clean.
Download
It should now work, try it, fully fixed and adds extended power menu. It is a exact or near exact port of Simplistic. Wallpaper you can get here. ENJOY! because this is the first and last theme i will do for fascinate, i just love the amount of respect is given here to devs. (Sarcasm)

How do you get the Black Storm rom to work? I can never find where to download the rom just the link that they have for the stock DJ05.

You download it via ROM Manager

Force closes my messaging constantly, can't open it and my phone app occasionally. And my contacts and gallery.
warning!! When I opened my gallery I was sent into a FC loop that seemed next to impossible to get out of!

I just wanted to warn others so they didn't open it. But the theme is awesome I haven't ran into any other issues yet. Thanks for porting!
ETA: I've also noticed not all of the new icons applied. For example the maps icon didn't change.

Okay so I've flashed this and it all works perfect, the only thing that happens is that it kills my network access for some reason, I've used the theme porter and still get the same thing, there must be a file that needs editing but I wouldn't know where to start, hence the thread. We've seen what Sonny can do with CyanogenMod...

Oke no worth to try for me, maybe the evo version will work ?
Ill try and flash that version....

If this works do be sure to let me know , I seriously want this like I want to win the Lottery lol!
It's the EVO version I flashed, like I said, it works perfect asides what happens to my network when it's been flashed, let me know what happens with you.

Flash did not work for me, it aborted installation
We just have to wait for someone to port this to the DHD

Maybe...maybe not....we will see if its beeing ported (sure hope so) for now im staying at the onyx theme and keep an eye out for this

This has already been done incl. permissions from jabberwalkie to 1.72 and 1.84 base and also to CM7. Theme Name is Elegant Blues, since there were too many changes and additions. Some details always look different on AOSP, since for example dialers look way different. The screens in your link are from the CM7 version, the Sense version is a bit different.
Anyway with next update there will come new dialers like these as addons:

[BOOTANIMATION]NeOXOOM - Geeknix Style.

Hey guys, Thought I'd make a nice geeky bootanimation that shows off the hardware in the XOOM at the same time.
Since I havn't got my XOOM yet I have only tested it on the emulator so the timing may need adjusting but let me know what you all think. Hope you like...
NOTE: Be patient and watch the whole thing, it's not just the red "XOOM" in the corner....

You can copy it to your device by entering the directory wit hthe bootanimation.zip, make sure you have adb setup and perform the following command:

Alternatively if you have a file manager just copy it to your SD card and paste it from there. (Probably need Root for this method).

So which is it lol? I'm confused. I'm not worried if you don't like it, it's a retro/linux style animation that is an aquired taste. Not for everyone.

I always try to be kind...but anyways, i prefer BigDX's Bootanimation, though i really love yours, i had a similar for my n1

No worries, I made it for my own XOOM thought I'd share it, guess my sh** just aint good enough to share, I suck at "design" though, I'm not much of a creative...

I had the same issue - just saw the red XOOM for a while and started scrolling away
You have to change the mSD to µSD though or people might mistake it
I like the retro/nerd style a lot

Really wish the original bootloader was not so lame, stuff like this is just awesome

Heh, good idea though, but I don't think i'll make the efffort to reacreate all 100 images for the micro sign when there is so little interest.
I'v fixed the timing and will upload that later, maybe even a screenshot of the full page with text so it's not mistaken.
P.S. need to talk with you later about this keyboard thing.
