[Q] Video Playback Out of Sync!

Hi all.
This is quite some time I'm experiencing this issue and also other SGS users I've met.
When playing a video, there is a slight delay between the sound and image.
Can you guys please test is with your SGS? Simply record a video at the best quality. Make sure you have lips movement so you can see the sync issue.
After you're done recording, simply play the file.
Do you get a delay?
you can see in my signature my kernel version. I'm using Orange stock ROM.
p.s. - I've noticed the delay also while playing video from youtube.
Anyone???
Anyone tried this thing?
Please help!
I'm having the same problem with recorded videos. Also verified that the delay is still in the video when playing them on my pc. I'm pretty sure that in JM2 (2.1) this error wasn't present yet. I'm using Speedmod k9a 300Hz, on a JPA rom with JPP modem.

I'm on froyo 2.2 and it happens.
Here is a video record from my amazing SGS I9000.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsRzM_w0SZ0
The video quality is set to the lowest in my phone, hence .... the quality.
You'd think that with this low quality, there shouldn't be any problem.
It seems that only a hand few suffer from this problem. What could be the difference?
We all use the same hardware.

[Q] Video problems on 0.6.7 Froyo CWR for eMMC

Anyone have video problems with rockplayer and h264 mp4 files?
My videos are squished into 1/2 the screen with hardware acceleration on.
I have reflashed again, but the situation is same.
Any fix now?
Thanks!

[Q] Video playback problem after rooting. (video lag) Gingerbread 2.3.3

I'm with the stocksafe v5 ROM. I don't continue with overcome since there are issues with rebooting and heating. When i'm not yet rooted, all videos seem to play fine, even 720p and 1080p videos. But then came the need to root the Tab. I used CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS.tar of Chainfire and i successfully rooted it. But then there's a slight problem with the video playback. There's a video lag when i play 720p and 1080p videos, even those mp4 files recorded from the tablet's camera.
Are there any fix or something? Any patch i should apply? I tried flashing several times and i observed that rooting with CF caused the video lag. Pls help.
Re- stock then use the helroz root tool from the market.

[Q] C-Rom 2.0 and Youtube/Twitch

I have a Captivate flashed with C-Rom 2.0 and I can't seem to get twitch or youtube to work for me. I have the bigmem patch flashed, which did fox some video playback however not for them.
YouTube just sais error playing video, and twitch I will hear 2-3 seconds of audio, no video, then it will force close.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Nexus 6 Video Playback Lag

Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well as any possible suggestions. I have noticed when watching videos I have recorded on my phone via ANY camera app produce fine videos. When I attempt to watch them, however, there is noticeable stuttering and lag where the video does not completely freeze at all but looks almost slightly jumpy. I have uploaded a few of the videos to YouTube and noticed when watching those there is no stuttering. I have not had the chance to try Playback via PC. Does anyone else notice this? Is the phone just lagging playing the natively recorded video files back? I'm only doing 1080p btw, not 4K. Thanks!

mine plays back my 4K recorded videos just fine(of course its not in 4K on the phone when watching)..
Bump! I have this same issue. I thought it was my video recording choppy, but now that I checked on another device I see it's a playback problem. I'm on 5.1.1 T-Mobile Motorola phone.
Anyone? I still have this problem, which is only playback related. If I can give MX player to play the videos things are fine, but somehow Photos eventually takes neck default control and its a pain in my ass!
