I just tried setCPU on my SGS and Im wondering if all the settings/scaling changes will be gone after a reboot if I dont tick the "Set on Boot" option.. basically I want to undo all the changes that setCPU made before uninstalling it because some apps leave the changes even if uninstalled.

Ok I've been running Nfinites odexed rom for a few days and since I'm not overclocked right now I figured I'd use autokiller. After installing and running it for the first time the SU app asked if I wanted it to have permission (yes of course), and I changed the preset to aggressive. After switching the preset a small dialog popped up and said autokiller has been granted su, everything seemed normal. After rebooting, I opened autokiller and got the message saying "you seem to have no tweak applied" and asked me to select one, Wtf... I don't know how this app is supposed to remember your preset after startup but I'm assuming its by using some sort of cache. I do use cachecleaner regularly but cannot imagine it causing this conflict, I've run both of these apps side by side before without issues so what's up?
The problem is nfinite's newest version comes with Superuser 2.2.2. Super 2.2.2 basically has problems with SetCPU, AutoKiller, and who knows what other apps that need root access. Anyway, go get Su 2.1 here

man nfinitefx should really put a link to su 2.1 in his original thread
Sweet thanks bro, should I just delete the other one first or what?

Just flash over, it will replace the old one. I did that and it worked for me
I am running Darky's Mod v9.5.XWJS28 on a rooted galaxy S GT-I9000, and SGS tools came pre-installed on it. Last night I had a look at the "upgrade stock apps" selection in SGS tools, and had a look at some of the apps. I installed the hacked camera app and the Galaxy tab E-mail app but I DID NOT install any of the launcher apps, only had a look at what each of them did. The stock launcher (touchwiz30.apk I am pretty sure it is called) worked perfectly fine after that.
Then late last night my battery ran dry. I plugged it in and charged it up, to notice that the launcher had changed to the extra one I got with Darky's Mod (so not the stock one that comes with an un-modified galaxy s). I went to "home switcher for Froyo" to find the only one showing up was the extra one (simply called "Launcher"). I was tired so I went to sleep, thinking that maybe if I restarted the phone it would fix itself.
So I woke up this morning and tried it, to no avail. I then tried downloading various Touchwiz30.apk from the internet, moving them over to my sd card and then using "My Files" to install them, but trying to do that just shows up with "application not installed" and nothing else to tell me why that is.
SGS tools also says that it backs-up the stocklauncher in sdcard/sgstools, and if I press "apply script" within the program and then "restore_launcher.txt" I will get my launcher back, but lo and behold, "apply script" works but then there is no "restore_launcher.txt". Using "My Files" to go to that folder, I find a Touchwiz30.apk in there, but checking its details, it takes up a whopping 0bytes of space!
Obviously I am going to uninstall SGStools after this, but in the mean-time how do I get my stock Home launcher back?
Possible Darky ROM solution
Hi Shi-an,
The same thing happened to me running Darky 9.5. You have probably resolved this by now but I thought I might post this for other people. Firstly, I am a novice... but I tried using "nitrality" (free version) to restore the twlauncher, which it did well. But when I the twlauncher, it force closed when I selected any apps. So Nitrality is NOT the solution for this.
To fix this I restored Darky ROM without wiping. (like a factory reset of the system area I think, but leaves your data and apps in tact.)
1. Undo lagfix using Voodoo Controls (if you use it) (as I said, I am a novice, so not sure if you need to undo lagfix when reflashing your ROM). Reboot and wait for the robot voice to take care of this for you.
2. Used Darky ROM Configurator (you probably already have it, otherwise its on the marketplace)
3. Made sure all the options I want were selected. Not wiping data is fairly important ... so make sure you don't select it unless you want to start fresh.
4. Menu, save and exit.
5. Go back into it, then menu select zip and flash.
6. Select the Darky 9.5 zip file (approx. 251mb)
The phone should restart into recovery and start reinstalling Darky ROM.
When it was all done, twlauncher works properly again.
I hope this helps someone. I take no responsibility for this... and I have assumed quite a few things, like you are running Darky ROM, with a custom rooted kernel and recovery mode which can work with Darky Configurator. I think I am on Darky Core 1.5.
Cheers.

Hi,
I'm trying Supercharger V6 (update 8) on my Galaxy Mini/Next with EmanonRom V3.
I've installed Script Manager and Busybox from the market, set "Run as Root" ond "Is Script" option but when I choose one of the option from the list (1-17), after a small process, it does not say, as it should, LAUNCHER IS HARD TO KILL, but it says "Launcher is locked in memory ie. Very Weak!"
How can I fix it?
P.S: I'm using Rainy Sunday theme
NO one can help me?
its work on my
Check / uncheck "Lock home app in memory" (something like that) either in CM settings or in launcher settings.

I'Ve Emanonrom V3, not CM!
If you're using custom launcher like ADW, LauncherPro etc., disable it there.
I have this issue as well. If I have the Home locked, it says Launcher is equivalent to visible app.. still weak.. If Home is not locked, very weak.. What should be the correct settings?
Reboot your phones first and check the supercharger, it'll then say hard to kill. A reboot is required for the supercharger to work. Im on emanon too and i haven't experienced this, BTW im using update 9 already, it's working on our device and is much better.

So, to fix the problem you simply have to unckeck make Launcher Presistent or Lock Home on Memory or Stop Laucher from being killed or any such option that locks home in memory. After your uncheck it then try to run the script again and see the result.
If you need any help on installing V6 supercharger than search for it at http://yagyagaire.blogspot.com
I inadvertently installed the Experimental framework and downloaded all the modules I wanted. Now I'm having random Xposed forced-closes (although, I get the message, but nothing really seems to force close - hmm!), so I thought it might be best to downgrade to stable.
I'm having quite a hard time doing this. I'd just uninstall and reinstall, but I don't want to loose all my module downloads and settings (is there a way to back these up in Xposed?). Will I need to start from scratch here?
Could you please get a logcat of the force closes? Eventually, experimental will become stable, and if I have no chance to fix this, then the same crashes will also happen in stable.
That said, I don't think Android allows to downgrade apps, except for uninstalling and reinstalling them. Even if you do that, you wouldn't lose your module downloads and settings, they are separate apps with their own data. You would just need to reenable them and check the settings of the installer. Or you use an app like Titanium Backup to backup and restore your settings.
