Ok so I've tried a lot of keyboards. I've heard that the Multi-Touch keyboard is really good and fast, but every time I install it, it force closes. I tried rebooting but it still force closes. I'm using Swype now, but I'd like to use another normal keyboard.
Anyone know how to get the Mutli-Touch keyboard or a similar one?
swiftkey is good its got a good word prediction and if you dont like the gray theme this guy bad4u6669 themed a black one

i know damn near anything is possible with the android but i was wonder how far could modification go as to replacing the phone dial pad with an interactive old school rotary dialer like the one in the pics. is it really possible to get one like that?

Well, there's the app called "rotary dialer." It's in the Market.
I've been running a dpi of 180 for a while now, cant go back to normal.
everything works fine, except for the background for the notification widgets(CM7)
It seems as if its grey'd out.
Anyone know where/what/ how to fix this problem, or is it just the cost of changing the dpi?

Only way to fix it is to change it to black. I had the same problem.

Im not exactly sure where to ask this. I've been looking for a good keyboard that has the gingerbread skin but with the long press shortcuts for punctuation and symbols on the alpha keys. I had better keyboard and I love it except that I can't seem to find a gingerbread skin.
Here is a screenshot of the gingerbread keyboard on the Atrix. This is perfect except for the long press shortcuts.
