Can i know if there is any support regards of the title for Samsung Galaxy S I9000 ?
Bump - Ever since updating to Froyo I have to unlock my phone with a numeric code, as opposed to the Android pattern lock. I don't necessarily want to remove a lock, I just want the option to use a pattern lock.

I have same problem, I searched at all afternoon for an app, what can disable it, but ineffectually...One I found, the FroyoMailUnlocker program does't work, ERROR, ERROR, ERROR, permission denied at the Email.apk file...
Have anyone an idea, for disable it??
I updated my SGS from 2.1 to 2.2 yesterday, and before this it isn't ask for a pin/password under 2.1.

Hi there forgive me if there is a thread about this already but i have searched this forum completely and have not found a solution yet.
I have been having issues trying to bypass the setup on my g1 for the past few days as i have no data plan and there is no option to use a wifi access point, i have tried the ADB system but to no avail, and was looking at a thread and noticed someone said that there may be a rc rom that has been modified to allow the user to bypass the setup process. Is this true? Also i was wondering whether there is a rc that allows the user to use a wifi access point?

at Android 2.1 there was a bug, when you forgot your pattern. After about 25 or 30 wrong attempts the phone is locked.

You have to reset (wipe) yout phone. When the Galaxy S is locked after the 25 or 30 wrong attempts, the data connection was disconnected. That's why your google account was never accepted. There were some solutions in the past like in this thread ("call your own phone and go to the menu..."): (sorry, i can't send the url as a link - without www)

At Froyo (Android 2.2) it doesn't work anymore!
So i want to know, if the bug is still there at Froyo or not? Do I have to reset my phone, if when it is locked after 30 wrong attempts?

I dont`t know the the reason, but I can not unlock my phone anymore.
After starting the lock screen is displayed. But if I instert my numbers, the screen does not unlock.
It looks like that the numbers are not insert to the lock app.
The problem is, that I can not see anything because I have currently not enabled debuging, and I can not enable it :crying:
I have testet now the following, Install latest version from 22.03. Than enable in Locksreen the Pin lock mode.
Reboot phone. An than the phone does not accept the lock pin.
Can anyone please help me?

I have one problem with my P9 after flashed it with 394 ROM update. I can't access to AppLock because it blocked with some pin. I didn't know the pin and phone don't ask me for security question. He's locked by itself. I tried to wipe data for phone manager but it didn't helps. How I can remove the pin and make new pin for AppLock? I have root and TWRP.
