I used SuperFroYo one.
Then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to fix WiFi...
I have ported the Gratia ROM a few days ago using the XDA kitchen. I used the kernel from CM nightlies. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and SD card didn't work at all. Ale Ba advised that the Gratia and the Legend are using different wireless chipset so I think that is the major problem. However this ROM is very fast and snappy for Sense ROM.

Yeah, it seems to be a common problem. People at Hero GSM, myTouch 3G Slide also got the same issue.

Same with "vold.fstab" in /system/etc
I have a little question, it is possible to exlude sense from this rom that we can install it on the superfroyo or azure rom!?

But since U use Legend's kernel from CM, the above doesn't apply to U any more. U have driver available. WiFi firmware is also available, so are all config files...
Of course you have to have some knowledge in how stuff works. Kitchen won't help you in such cases, porting is not just putting Gratia's rom into the kitchen and hitting "cook" button!

OK thanks for the tips I used the porting tools in the kitchen. I will try to find "howstuffworks" and see if the issues can be solved by editing the proper config files.
Good luck with that m8
...I would try if I am in your shoes. U surely would learn something new if you try. I myself have no interest in this ROM and spending time for this would be a complete waste of time since HTC's FroYo for Legent is soon to be on our plates...
But if U have some specific questions regarding the porting I would gladely help...

BlaY0:
Would I be completely wrong if I was to guess that looking in the init.rc of the original 2.1 HTC kernel to see how the wifi is initiated and make the same for 2.2 HTC kernel to get ie WiFi working? .. The reason for me asking is that the 2.2 from this rom must be initialising the firmware/driveres for Gratia's broadcom driver.. Sooo.. if we like 'copy' the procedure from 2.1 on the TI-chipset could there be a chance for this to work in the 2.2?? Or is init.rc a totally wrong place to be looking?
can you add french and azerty keyboard ? and this ROM is root ?
@whitetigerdk: You're right... init.rc is first place to look at. Actually is init.legend.rc. There are services and dynamic kernel configuration bound to Legend and Legend only. So what I would do is comparing init.*.rc from Gratia ROM and init.legend.rc from CM nightly, pull vendor dependent Legend files from CM nightly (configs, firmware, binaries...) and incorporate them into ported ROM. Bofore that I would try over adb shell to acomplish all those things manually (loading WiFi firmware, loading modules, setting WiFi connection with open AP...)...
If there is WiFi working I´ll try it

Yes please guess that some help wouldnt hurt
nice to see ppl working on the wildfire!!! i hope your project will end in a full working rom, keep working on it!
to fix network settings do like this:
open framework-res.apk but dont extract, just open file and go to /res/xml/ and replace your apns.xml with for example with apns.xml from my rom.
just drag the /res/xml/apns.xml from "mine" framework-res.apk into your framework-res.apk that your are using.

But anyways, Great Job really. ! First aosp almost fully working rom. Congrats

Is SBFing really necessary? You'd think going into koushs recovery and doing wipe system/data/cache/dalvikcache would do the same thing.. I'm on fission 1.1 and before that was the official 2.2 ota

I would like to know this one as well.
I had a very stable overclock to 1.4 on Fission 1.2 and LOVED it but I moved to TranQ 3.0 only because I wanted 3G hotspot back (infrastructure mode). If Fission has MobileAP baked in the I would go back in a heartbeat.

I hate to call you out on this AngDroid, but what exactly in this rom is FRG83?????
For fun I went ahead and did a KDiff compare between this update and you last release Fission 1.2
Other that the /system/apps folder (which by the way is just a copy of the apps used in Rubix) you have a total of 9 updated files.....

Here a is the listing of the files you changed or added since your last update
1. Added - /etc/init.d/01cpuod - this is the lowmemorykiller already in Rubix
2. Added - /etc/init.d/02vm - the other piece to the lowmemorykiller
3. Modified - /etc/install-recovery.sh - you simply pointed this to the init.d folder for start up
4. Modified - /etc/sysctl.conf - no real changes here though
5. Modified - /framework/framework-res.apk - not sure what you did (as I didn't want to look that deep into the framework) but I am sure it doesn't make this FRG83
6. Modified - /framework/services.jar - same as the framework
8. Removed - /lib/modules/overclock.ko
9. Added - /lib/modules/tun.ko - a vpn module
Of these nine changes everyone that was either add or modified other than framework-res.apk, service.jar and tun.ko were taken directly from Rubix???????

Took the files from www.teamdefuse.com/signed-passion-FRG83-from-FRF91.c8847c98.rar and added them to the FRF91 build which brings the build to 2.2.1
Rubix and Fission are based on the same base.
Very simple...
Compare the D2 build with the FRG83 OTA Patch...I think I made mistake and uploaded a test build of the DX ROM...
*edit*
Yeap my mistake on my part with the DX file...uploaded an older test build. Things got mixed up with a different people working on it and uploading new file in a few.

haha, lovely. thanks for the warning -- i'll just update to the newer one when you post. quick question for you ang -- when you say change the build id and version, i assume you mean in build.prop? if not, what do you mean? thanks, mate.
New file uploaded...sorry for confusion. Was early morning and we were up working late on it and dropped the wrong file into ftp.
If anyone has any questions on how it was built here it is...
All aps are 2.2.1
I applied the OTA FRF91 to FRG83 update manually. No difference, still updates the same files. I left out bcm4329.ko and some cam drivers for obvious reasons.
Took the latest OTA from VZW and applied what drivers and files can be used like wifi and a few other files.
Drod and I work together on the DX build...as it has been known since the start and thats why we have the same files.
Just install over the first 2.0 if you had it already installed.

Hello,
Can you write a list of HTC apps that have been removed?
Thanks in advance!
Can't really remember exactly but I'll try to list them down.
A deodexed version for the themers would be nice if not then still nice rom.

It would be nice, but it also wouldn't be "Leaf" anymore because it would be crunching phone memory and slightly slower.
I'm sorry but themers should use WildPuzzleROM instead.
just the uploading is some how slow
its at home, thanks. going to test

Really good work. Tested all roms and this one is my favorite one. Some things can be improved:
- hotspot don't work
- change lock screen not possible
Thanks!

This is a boring rom, and i am getting bored of the wildfire. Where is the creativity devs, we need a variety. All this roms are the exact same, except for the cyangogen rom. Create something wildly different.
I really like the speed of this ROM, and even after installing a **** load of apps the respond time is amazing.
A really neat job Mate.

Go to Language & keyboard in settings, enable it there. After that, in any text field, long tap and you will be able to change the input method.

Keep in mind that I'm not a ROM dev, as I said, this is just a repack. You should wait for Gingerbread which will come any time soon.
Edit: Why don't you become a ROM dev yourself? That way you could create something "wildly different"

More details on change lock screen please?
Force close
Settings FC when trying to change lock screen BG, also when trying to change wallpaper through settings>personalize>wallpaper.
changing wallpaper from menu works fine.
This is my first time cooking a rom, so please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong and I'll try to fix it.
GENERAL INFO
This rom is a continuation of HTC TatFroyoSense v0.4 (WWE edition) (I just couldn't let it die). At the moment it is identical to it with a few exceptions mentioned below and it uses kiljacken's overclockable kernel.
In other words it is a Sense 2.2.1 Rom ported from the HTC Wildfire.

Hi KrisInfinity,
you could change following values in init.rc file of ramdisk, to keep launcher in memory
change values of following two to keep launcher in memory
setprop ro.HOME_APP_ADJ to 0
setprop ro.HOME_APP_MEM to 0 or 1536

Hi. You can use the one in CM7 rom
By any chance at start-up the lock-screen can be disabled as my digitiser is screwed

Coz I am looking high n low for a APK which can fully control the keyboard by the trackball

Sure, you can enable unlocking the device by pressing a key twice. As you would on sense android 1.6 pressing menu twice. Here's a thread that shows how http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=683902
However this Rom is set to run HtcCalibrate at first boot which requires the touchpad to calibrate the screen.

You have to wipe before flashing because CM7 is a gingerbread rom while this is a froyo sense rom. However I suggest you to make a backup before doing anything, and you can easily restore if you want to go back.
As for the future I can't make any promises, however the only thing not working is FM Radio, everything else works. I even remember BT file transfer to be working.
