I think he wants to extend the period of time of when the notification LED is blinking when a new SMS/ missed call is waiting. I read that it doesn't blink until you actually look at the SMS or look at the list of missing calls, but stops after a certain interval.
I hope this is clearer... don't have an answer though

I use this program too. Highly recommended.
Also "Handcent SMS" will allow custom LED notifications and also happens to be the BEST SMS handling app out there with tons of features (and free)
I bought "Tasker" yesterday.
There you might be able to create a script with a LED-Loop if notifications from App XY or all are received. Doesnt work at all this time, but its my fault.

i feel no restrictions in accupower since useing Tasker! If you leave the DisplayOffCheckSettings to 600 secs, i think there will be no problems. Try it out !
is there the possibility to change led color?
there's only red and green?
No chance
Maybe if the Device is rooted. We'll see soon

Hey guys I was wondering if there is an app that would the camera led strobe when a call comes through, or does it for certain contacts? Iknow it sounds a little strange but think it would be useful to have this type of notification for certain contacts when my phone is on silent.
It can be a fun application, i hope some body will answer.
There is)

Hi guys! Is there a way to make the vibration of the phone (no UI changes or text notification, just vibration) an event/input? Thanks :cyclops:
Uhh....that sounds weird. Can you give a bit more information. What specific thing is causing your phone to vibrate in the first place that you want Tasker to respond to?

Pokemon go app When a pokemon appear, the phone vibrate. I would like to use it as an event to make my smartwatch notify it to me.

Ahah I know I know it may sounds stupid, but it's just a way of playing it without staying watching the screen all the time while walking. I thought to use tasker to do that but I can't find a way to use that vibration as an input, there're no other notifications.

Ahh.....OK. If that is the case, I dunno.... There is probably a real hacky way to do it with shell script and root or something....but nothing straight forward

Hmm... I'm not sure if this would work, but have you tried notification listener from play store? It's a tasker plug in. It might be enough that the vibration came from the game to trigger...
you can try this app :

Hi all
I have work email on my phone and i would like to not get notifications on the weekend or late at night from people that have no life. Is there any way to automize (automatize?) That notifications from a single app only appear during a certain time?
I am rooted, so i could install root apps
Thanks!

Personally I just have no sound in emails. I am checking them all the time either way, so when I don't want to be annoyed silent notification does the job. (I receive circa 800 emails on a daily basis, so I would go mad if it made a sound every single time)

How did you do it in Oneplus?
Hi,
In OnePlus ROM that is a setting in stock ROM.
You just say i.e. : For missed called blink rapidly a green led ; for incoming mail display a fixed blue led...
You have that in many custom ROM too.
Regards
No I cant customized led notifications color
Hi,
I've installed several apps that are supposed to be able to control the front LED.
None of them works
So I assume that no, that LED cannot be controlled.
But you an of course control the rear LED and illumination.
Which is somewhat a compensation

Why does it matter which contact left a notification?
They don't know if you checked it or not.
This sounds like some kind of really sleazy, low-life theme that you create for yourself....
Prove me wrong.

Hi
Here a problem isn't high or low life, when i say contact, any notification app contact message have the same led notification, when you work in places like hospitals., sound is off and it is important for my work life... I love this phone and with so many leds it was a excellent costumization...
In my last phone OnePlus it was possible do it with only one led....
But nothing like adapt and survive...
Thanks..

Just kidding, friend. Of course you can have different leds if you want them. I just don't know how to do it.
Hi,
I'm just missing the notification LED in the X2 Pro, I tried NotifyBuddy, Always On Edge Lightning, flash notifications but they are not working or battery hungry apps.
Aren't you missing the notification LED? If so are you using something?
I use NotifyBuddy and I like it a lot.
NotifyBuddy dont drain my battery.

I will retest it so and keep updating this thread.
I also tried out the aforementioned apps and stuck with NotifyBuddy, haven't noticed an usually large battery drain at all and it works for eight various messaging apps each day.
Notifybuddy works very well, no battery drain and completely affordable. I have removed battery limits from app settings and has it blocked in background. Really i have no issue with it.

I do try NotifyBuddy but I fell uncomfortable because the fingerprint scanner is not active. Looks like the app overlaying on top of the fingerprint scanner. So I need to wake my phone before I use fingerprint.
Can we enable to make fingerprint active when AOD is displaying?

When you receive a notification you can set double tap to wake, for me is very comfortable, because i have face unlock enabled and that combination works very well.
I don't know about aod, i have never used it.

I seem to find notify buddy works (most of the time).
But according to the battery stats, it's draining the most battery. I'm not sure how accurate it is because it doesn't feel like I'm losing that much battery with it.
Had anyone actually verified the battery drain?
