I found this strange thing on ebay and thougt some time about if it could work :
http://cgi.ebay.de/AUDIO-VIDEO-TV-O...131809?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item255e1395e1
the only adapter for tv out I know is the original from samsung with the properetary 30pin plug.
...via klinke... lol :0) why not the "eckige stecker plug"...
i think you mean the headphone jack. the cable on ebay looks like the one for galaxy s.
the galaxy s tv out funktion is woking through 3,5...
galaxy tab and s have nearly the same hardware...
tried it for myself with diffrent cables... ... no big screen for me :0(
So
you own a galaxy tab and cannot connect from 3,5 headphone jack to TV?

guck mal hier 30€:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d.html?pd=1&a=B000XFT1IY

Mein deutsch ist slecht und grenzt viele Leute aus, aber;
what about Samsung's multimedia tabletop dock: ECR-D980BEGSTD
eg. http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-tab-multimedia-desk-dock-p25797.htm
It charges the tab and you have output at the same time.
I don't know if anyone has got this yet, I have pre-ordered it and I think it is just what I need (if it works as promised...).
german for advanced, part II
yeah good choice for watchin movies at home but i think the second replier wants to know if theres a more portable and lower priced way to enjoy bigscreen highresolution youtube and 40 inch skyview... . :0) just kidding...
if you need to connect to newest west german it beamers at work you need vga :0) didnt you know?
i will post a "gebühreneinzugszentrale" friendly step by step guide soon.
ok lets begin:
do some bodybuilding and mount the 40inch to your head.
now get an old usb cable and plug it in your samsung. (use better builded arm) "no, not the cpu :0)"
then take some old nokia tv out cable and connect with your bigscreen and usb cable. (use soldering iron or applejuice)
now you have big pain in your neck :0)
ok, lets get back to buisness. i thought about a 2000mah extra battery pack (about 10€) build into a cheap composite to vga converter (priced around 30€). you will need a modified samsung tv out cable too (the 30pin one).
maybe with build in wireless audio video and small reciever for television or projector... later!
i will try to get this things together within the next 2 weeks... and start a new thread about it.
...me against samsung... work in progress versus shipping soon...
...who will win the competition...
just sound?
[i got this today(TV Out via 3,5mm) but when i plung it in the tv i can only get sound no picture ?
is this me doing sum thing wrong can u help plz, i have samsung galay tap
I believe the 3.5 jack input/output (microphone + ear buds) on the Galaxy tab differs from the Galaxy S (which apparently supports video output). I think the product is miss-labelled.

You bought the wrong cable! TV out is via the dock connector - either digital using the multimedia dock, or analog via the TV out cable.

Dave

Yes, Dave is quite correct.

Hi,
I'd to buy me a HTC Diamond or Samsung SGH- I900 Omnia ! I need a smartphone with touch interface and without keyboard, because these phones are too thick. i wont buy the iphone because it's too expensive with the **** contract of t-mobile in Germany ! Now i found these phone: Which is better?
.....my english is bad xD
Can I install the touchflo3D on the Omnia, because touchwiz isnt so nice !
Paar Fakten was ich mir schon überlegt habe
Diamond:
rum schleppen will !?
A good website: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_di...review-262.php
but without a good conclusion.
the answer to your question:
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_diamond_vs_samsung_i900_omnia-review-262.php
ive thought short and hard about this. I own neither phone (waiting for the touch pro)... and I say Diamond.
Do you have read the article ??? I have ... this is a neutral article read the Conclusion.
well thats the thing...its a neutral decision. it depends on what you need.
Id go with the diamond but someone else might need 5MP and would go with the samsung..
plus just having this forum is more then enough support for the htc phone youll ever need.
I dont know what the support on the samsung is like...but i bet its not this good.
Yes, but the camera isnt so important ! The Style

functions
normal unlock: slide from left to right
missed calls(green)/sms: tipping on the circle unlocks to telephon/sms
music: double tippning on screen center opens the widget, the complete widgets middle part is for pay/pause, left/right arrows for previous/next
download link 24h-clock: http://www.multiupload.com/64J3J6PSQP
download link 12h-clock: http://www.multiupload.com/MGVYUXCSAI
new version: minimalistic for those using transparent backgrounds. no clock. just charging animation, no text.
download link (!!!the wallpaper shown in previews is NOT part of this LS, cuz i (1) dunno why, but it does not use png files and (2) i have no permission yet releasing this wallpaper. so the default starfish one is included): http://www.multiupload.com/X8UEAM8Q7S
easiest way having a transparent LS-Background: create an image in photoshop or gimp with e.g. 80% opacity, save it as PNG, and replace the LS-Wallpaper with the new one.
how i said, it is my first theme, so please report bugs or possible improvements
Looks nice
But may you can do a version with about 80% blur on the Homescreen?
Because i don't like it fully visible
Sieht richtig richtig gut aus
Gut gemacht
Looks really good
Well done

thx, really appreciate it
MANIKING, do you mean something like this? it is really easy, create a transparent image in photoshop or gimp or something like this and save it as PNG. copy it to your phone and use it as LS-background.
vielen dank euch beiden
It would be cool if you could add sms and phone buttons, with the same transparency. instead of just number notifications.
have a phone button above the lock/clock
and an sms button below. Maybe a tap-to-action added to them as well.
also, could you add a status bar? with the same transparency as the clock background? : D
ALSO, lol, could you make a 12h one? I just noticed it's in 24h.
Well, can do it sometimes this week
Do you mean sms/phone buttons, which are always visible (a kind of 3-way-lockscreen).
Cuz now it does not just show the numbers, tapping on the circles also unlocks the phone to sms/phone.

KINGMANI BTW ^^
No not the Wallpaper the Homescreen should just not been shown so good
Oh sorry
Was genau meintest du also mit 80% Transparenz?
What did you mean with "80% transparency"?
So nun aber
Also der Homescreen sollte ja nicht ganz sichtbar sein sondern darüber soll ne Ebenen mit 80% Transparnez leigen was ungefähr so aussieht!
War jetzt nur n Quick Photoshop xD
Ich checks auch nich
I don´t get you,too

Nice lockscreen, best iv used so far
But could you do a version without the clock? Maybe add a charging animation and use the dark patch to show the amount of battery graphically?
It's just I have the transparent wallpaper and a clock widget on my homescreen and it looks weird having two clocks.

NICE~~~~~~
Very nice.
Little requete: Possible to make the same lock with date on top of that.
Thank you d 'avance.
Thanks for the lockscreen, really nice!
BTW, can you tell me, whats the date widget you using under the miui clock? I can't find it...
Thanks a lot!
Cheers!
He guys, thx for your feedback
Well, it will take me some days realizing the other versions, cuz i had have a bicycle accident today and my right hand is not really usable But i hope, it will be better in two or three days.
@T0fi, it´s mClock. Do you mean this mClock skin? http://chrisbanks2.deviantart.com/a...tion/screenshots/handhelds max_age:168h&qo=16
Anyway we can do it 12 hour. Or can someone tell me how to do it.
well, i´m not at my default notebook with the files i need, sorry.
inside the mtz is a folder "advanced", inside this is a .xml file
change the line with "DateTime" from "kk" to "hh". i´ll be back in 2 or three days on my notebook, so i´ll do it. do you want to have the "am/pm" shown, too?
Okay ill do that thanks! and no I'm done without the am/pm

I picked up my black HTC One yesterday at Saturn (German electronics store) and the minute I started doing what I like to do (unlocking, flash all kinds of stuff, I notices a wired rattling noise from the vibration motor. It is hard to describe, take a look at this (recorded using my old sensation:
In addition to that, there is a gap large enough to stick a piece of paper into it:

After spending 2 hours in Saturn waiting and discussing, I found out that my phone is branded, even if the packaging said otherwise. They recognize my problem with the rattling and the gap, but won't give me a new device.
Anyone here who has a good knowledge of German warranty laws?

PS.: Sorry for the usage of German here. I guess it is against the board rules, but what we are typing won't help anyone out of Germany.
Originally I had the 32gb AT&T model. It clicked/rattled once every 5-10 vibrations, so when typing I would hear a click once every couple of seconds. I exchanged it for the 64gb model, and this one clicks every damn time there's a vibration. It's not a loud click but it's definitely there. It's like the vibration motor is hitting against something inside the phone, or maybe the motor itself is clicking. Who the hell knows. Never had a phone do this before, and I've owned many. This is my only complaint with the One. I might try a 3rd one, maybe I'll win the rattle lottery.
So they don't want to exchange my phone because I already unlocked the bootloader. Next step will be printing the limited warranty from HTC (http://dl4.htc.com/Web_materials/Manual/Warranty/Android/91H01000-00M Rev.A.pdf) and make them exchange it.

Don't want to deviate from the topic. Does OP have an "interference" noise of the ringtone that coincides with the end of vibration if you turn on "vibration feedback for calls"? I manage to "fix" the problem by install the app "vibe" which allows me to choose a less intense vibration pattern with any ringer.
