Heyy Guys, I stumbled upon this rom, and someone claims that it works for Milestone, if you read further on.
Please confirm - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=831144
Confirmed working on desire hd .25 rom. Very nice rom.
Download file, and simply install the dell launcher first, then install other widgets.
Yes, it works well. It actually works without changing the LCD Density setting as well, so you won't have to squint like mad.
That said, there's no advantage to using Dell's work here other than using their heavyweight widgets.
PS. This is not a rom, but a set of APKs.

Sorry about that, amateur over here... Also, the landscape doesn't work perfectly, or I guess is too small... Is there any fix for this?

Nah, it's cool
What's wrong with the landscape mode? Can you post a screen shot of it?

Kay, thanks I'll post a screenshot soon but the essential problem is that it looks too small I guess. Basically, the bottom app drawer and the navigation buttons beside them take too much room. I guess it isnt optimized for our milestones Can someone confirm if there is another way to make the landscape look bigger and better?

Good.
I've tried one and work like charm (I tried 130 and 135 as well)
problem is ROM manager scale incorrectly even with 'compatibility mode' turned off
I already tried to search the forum but have no luck
is there a way how to overcome this?
thx

Yes, I did it several times but the problem still persist
edit:
I think this behaviour are not consistent. sometimes when I reboot it, it's back to normal, but when I reboot it again, It went wrong again
weird
EDIT:
I can confirm now that after killing 'whole' task using task manager (or similar app), the problem is (always) gone. still don't know the culprit though.
Excellent work here my friend. Cheers.
Great app... I'm running at 130.
May I know what is the default density of our Legend? Tried to Google before I flashed this but couldn't find any info...
Edit: I tried LCDDensity for root from market and it told me the default is 160. Change to 140 and it looks great
Maybe I'm totally noob, but what's the point of setting a LOWER LCD density if the default is 160?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the higher the density, more things can be added to the screen and it "seems" bigger.
I'll try also to see the difference
Later Edit: OK, I've checked now. Tried with 130 and a lot more info seems to fit on screen. I have some questions/issues though.
1. What 110, 120...130...160 means? For sure not DPI as was my initial understanding. Usually, the higher the DPI setting, more screen space is available. And in this case I got better screen with a lower number. Could be the value of the setting then? And lowering it it'll give you in fact a higher DPI setting? Don't miss understood me, I just want to understand some of the things not playing with them like a robot.
2. Some widgets are scaled incorrectly (Sense Analog Small Black is one of them for ex). Any way to overcome this or is by widget design and I should find a better one?
Found a fix for 2...set the columns in ADW at 5 instead of 4. Now the widget is drawn correctly and have an extra space remaining

When your adding a widget you'll have the option to set the size, set the width to 5 and you're widgets you want full width can be. I had to do this with my clock/weather widget.
I set it to 140 and it looks awesome! To bad that it shrinks the keyboard too..
it doesn't work for me on BlaYo rom ... does absolutely nothing ... any ideas?
On the first page of this hub demo there's a clock widget displaying 06-48 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrzQPkbkYOw
wondered of anyone new where to find it? looked in market.

What's up Morgan Evans (or anyone that can help).....I just got my Xoom and flashed the AOSP ics rom (the nightly rom seemed too advanced for me)....
I was wondering (if the fact were on different ics roms renders your advice useless then I understand) if you could me how I could set up that "hub" system on my Xoom....it would work PERFECTLY with the type of person I am and I would really enjoy it....
I understand that getting an old version of adw is the most problematic part...
That's good info!

I believe it is a live wallpaper. I would like it as well. I don't think it was included in the system dump though. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong.
if the skies the limit, where's the urgency?
Yeah, it's live.
I'd be fine with a static version if someone could just photoshop the stuff ontop of the wallpaper, etc.
Would that be feasible?
How's this? I totally forgot where I found this, but I'm using it with Intel's ICS Launcher, and it's pretty nice. I'm working through the sdk now, so if I manage to get the live wallpaper to work, I'll post that as well.

It's a Galaxy S2 wallpaper. (actually I'm not 100% it's gs2, but it's definitely a default wp from one of the latest phones lol)
Here's a better quality one.
You know what, I think you might be right. I think it's actually from the Nexus S…my fault. It looked kinda close to being a static image of the live wallpaper they used last night (granted I didn't get a great look at it), so I figured I'd share. The sdk dump has very little of value in it, other than for development purposes, but I'll download the Galaxy Nexus dump tomorrow, and see what I can find.

Hey!
Can somebody make a theme for MIUI status bar like iPhones one (screenshot) ?
The point is to make it a little bit thinner than normal MIUI.
Note: I want it for MIUI Gingerbread 'cause it's easier than MIUI v4, but if you want it for MIUI v4 ...
Thanks!!
Every time i look at a picture of an iphone i want one so badly
Me too, but my phone looks now like an iPhone with MIUI + Ultimate iPhone theme.
Now I'm tryin to make it perfect
ugh. just go buy one.
If you pay for it then okay!
In Europe it's expensive my dear friend!
Try this psd, mate, not so hard but it need a lot of time with these resource you can rebuild the iphone theme for miui for best result

Don't even think that's possible unless you use a lower DPI.

i guess you can do it by editing systemui.apk's layout xml files manually
your gonna mess up alot of things by editing status bar to be thinner.
If you do it, the time will have to be changed to be smaller and fit, then it will have to be modded again so miui can change where it's location is. All this but for pretty much every notification you'll ever get. all the icons are going to have to be smaller than before, and it may not even fit on the status bar.
Just use a lower dpi, im on 200 and it looks really good.
Changing DPI, the icons remain at the same dimension and the labels are smaller and they come on the icons..

The battery and signal are a cluster. I'm not to fimiliar with MIUI but I'm guessing it follows the same principle. Only the battery text can be moved to the right on its own. I may be wrong but that's how it was when I was running CM7.

Hi,
I have created a mod for the camera app on the Galaxy S6 Edge such that it works properly under device dpi of 540 or 480. I would really appreciate it if someone owning a Galaxy S6 would be willing and able to test my mod for the camera app on a Galaxy S6 (I only own the Edge).
If you decide to help out, even though I can't imagine anything going wrong if you know what you're doing, please know that you're doing it at your own risk and make sure you have a nandroid backup just in case.
You can find my mod at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/themes-apps/mod-samsung-camera-app-dpi-t3131567
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Bane.
Hi... I have an S6 (G-920I) working at 520 dpi, your 540 dpi mod (the amk19 one) worked on my phone. It's still have a black area in the side and bottom (because of the different dpi) but is enough for me to be happy with the camera now. Thanks!!!
I tried before to mod the app for my resolution but the video does not work in my mod.

I found that using Terminal is easier than using an app. Just run the following command (where you replace "###" with your desired DPI):
adb shell wm density ### && adb reboot
What an amazing job thanks!
Another apps.
Launcher. Dialler. Need to optimization?
Great job for the 520 dpi!!

Somehow the supplied files didn't work on my GalaxyS6, I recreated it myself using apktool and the framewrok-res,.apk and Samsungcamera4.apk from the XtreStoLite rom (1.4b) for 480dpi and that DOES seem to work. File is attached... Might do some other ones as well later on (also for the 1.5 version of that rom).
All credits to op for the dimens.xml file which I used!

Great job, you should compile a collection of these multi-dpi mods.
