download mode not work
recovery not work
PC not recognize phone
what can i do ?
Same problem here
Hi,
I was wondering if you managed to fix your problem... the same is happening to me after updating to Froyo through Kies.
Phone simply isn't working properly anymore... just like you described, strange vibration every now and then, it vibrates one time then after a while 3 times, and so on.
Thanks.
the recovery mode and download mode won't work since phone is still on.
vibrate means its restarting and starting.
so remove battery and
and put it back on
try recovery mode and factory reset : ) thats what i did hehehe
This has happened to me. What I did is remove the battery to turn off the phone. Then, I use the three button combination to enter the recovery mode. From there, I did a factory reset and Formatted the phone. It worked fine after that.

I have a problem with my galaxy. It can't boot stuck on first white logo Galaxy S GT-I9000. I have do anything (volume + & center button, volume - & center button.... all combination!)
Is there any solution for this please?
The problem is exactly the same with this video: on youtube search for "Samsung Galaxy S Boot Problem"
Thanks a lot.
Nothing? please help!
I have the same issue. Tempted to try the home made jig but if there is a way without then ill try that first.
Ive tried:
Booting with various button combos.
button combos then installing battery.
combos with 3 flashes
.....
the list goes on.
My phone would happily go into download mode previously but not into OS. So I tried flashing 2.2 jp1 and it went how it is now. Odin said successful too
Hi Theodore+
I tried the jig and it worked a charm. Def recommend giving it a go.
Hi..
i'm having a weird problem..
well i upgraded to froyo 2 weeks ago using the registration trick and it was ok till yesterday.
my phone turned off suddently (while i had 60% left from battery), couldn't turn it on again.
cannot go to recovery mode, but can go to download mode.
the thing is i could boot my phone once i plug the usb to the computer or once i plug the charger..
so my phone cannot boot without being plugged
does anyone know anything about it?
Cheers..
Try pluggin in a external microSD.
Than boot and see if anything different.
Sorry xxgg but i didn't get what you're trying to tell me...
i have a microSD it's always there... how to pluggin in a microSD?
the thing is when i try to turn on my unplugged phone i see an empty battery..
once i plug it i turn it on normally..
thanks.
Yesterday I attempted to flash back to stock with ODIN, but after the program said the operation was successfully completed I was left with a problem.
Now, whenever I attempt to turn on the device it hangs at the AT&T logo for about 10 seconds, the screen goes black, and this repeats indefinitely. And whenever I plug the device into any outlet there is the loading screen before it shows how much battery you have, but before it shows the green bar in the battery the screen goes black, and also repeats indefinitely.
I've tried all of the button combinations but cannot seem to get into download mode or even recovery mode.
There was one time where the device booted up, after about an hour of the AT&T logo flashing, but right after the phone booted up it shut down because it died.
Is there anyway I can get into download mode from this state?
You have a late build phone, you flashed Odin one click to 2.1, later builds phones just bootloop with 2.1, and those bootloaders trend to break the button combos.
You'll need a jig to force download mode.
there is a sticky at the top of the dev section with stock packages, I'd suggest grabbing a gingerbread packages with bootloaders, so your phone will boot up AND it'll fix your button combos.
If anyone wants to know, I was able to fix it quite easily, it just took a lot of patience and without a jig.
I first charged the phone for about 4 hours.
Then I turned the device on and let the AT&T logo flash until eventually the device turned on.
Since I was on 2.1 I was able to use the oneclick root application to root my phone. Amazingly it actually went into recovery and I was able to apply the update.zip.
Next I rebooted the phone and waited until it finally turned on again, from here I downloaded a command line application and was able to use that to force the device into download mode.
Finally, I used Heimdall oneclick and my phone was back to normal.
Hi everyone. I have read the many threads on how to unbrick my Galaxy Note 1 and nothing works.
The problem appeared suddenly when I was trying to close an application called voice recorder.
The phone started to get on a boot loop. So I removed the battery, put it back on and tried to reboot it and was presented with a welcome menu set up in spanish. I shut down my phone, then removed the battery again, put it back and rebooted and since that my phone is no longer working. I have a completely black screen with no activity whatsoever.
I have tried the recovery option: volume up, home and ppower buttons with no response from the phone. Looks like it is completely dead
I have tried the flash odin option volume down, home and power button and none of my odin programs (odin 3 v3.07/ v1.85 or v.1836) are picking it up on the port.
What are my other options to revive my phone.
The last flash I used was Jelly Bean N7000XXLT9_N7000XXLT3_N7000OXXLT3_HOME.tar.md5.
I am also waiting for a jtag to come in the next few days.
Many thanks for your suggestions if there are any.
First make sure you have a charged battery. Then try recovery or download mode

Battery has been fully charged and is brand new and as I said nothing happens. No recovery, no download mode possible. Looks like it is all flat and dead!
So this weird thing happened to my 1 month old Galaxy Note 5 with no root or any software modifications to it.
I was using it to send a text message yesterday and all of a sudden the phone hanged, did not restart by itself, the screen and the buttons were not responsive. I was able to restart the phone but it will not go beyond the Galaxy Note 5, powered by Android screen. I can restart the phone with Volume Down + Power but it will not go beyond that point. Holding the power button will not turn it off, so all I can do is restart the phone as well as enter download mode. I cannot enter recovery mode as I cannot switch off the phone. Tried to wait until the battery drained but once plugged in, the screen will automatically go to the Galaxy Note 5 Screen. Also tried pushing the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons before plugging the device in but still will not enter recovery mode.
When I got home, I tried using Smart Switch Initialization to re-flash firmware. Still the same problem.
Tried flashing with Odin 3.10.7 using latest firmware from my region. Firmware flash PASS but the problem is still the same: Cannot go beyond Galaxy Note 5 Screen, Cannot access Recovery Mode
Are there any other solutions that I can employ without tripping off Knox?
Thanks guys!
Did you find a way to fix this
Try wiping Cache in recovery.
If that doesn't work then a factory reset?
It will wipe everything on your device.
This is exactly the same scenario I am facing right now... exactly...
i need help, a few days ago my phone freezes, shuts down, and wont back up again.
i tried all button combinations and nothing seems to work at all, pressing volume up + down and power button only result on a red light flash once
This isn't the first time my phone freeze, last month i exprience a hard crash and a bootloop, but i flashed it through edl mode and it works again.
this time it wont even boot up at all,i hit a dead end.
i tried to use an edl cable but it still didnt work, the only way to access the edl mode is to short the test point inside the phone.
that method works, i manage to get in edl mode, reflash everything, but the phone still wont boot up.
also all the hardware is fine, i checked everything including the ufs and it works just fine.
but for some reason it wont charge at all on both the side, and the bottom port.
if i leave it for a while and then charge it, i get a blinkin red light for a while and then it stops flashing again.
if anyone can provide help i would be very thankfull
summary : i successfully flash the phone, but it wont boot up, and also wont charge for some reason. it still getting some current going in, but not much.
