I was wondering if anyone with an HD7 has the HTC notes app? I don't see it anywhere on the marketplace or HTC hub.

I am not sure of the Notes... but there is something called "Lists". Its like the Sticky or PostIt.

Actually, the "Lists" app is just like a to-do list. You make a list and can swipe right to cross out completed items. As for the "Notes" app that was featured in a video with the hidden-scratch-to-reveal messages or the post-it feature is nowhere to be found.
I have it on my phone, it was pre-installed. Bought my HD7 from O2Germany.
Thanks for the replies. It does not make any sense that HTC would not include the HTC notes app on the US version of the HD7. I have read that it is on the HTC Trophy.

Hello all,
I've been seeking a download patch that will allow me to have the HTC Today Screen (if that's the one that has the BIG CLOCK). I have the HTC Rom now which allows me to do threaded texts and still send pics.
Anyone know where I can find the BIG CLOCK?

Why yes I can. Thanks to the great people here and Shogunmark. This has been the most wonderful source for information and expertise I've EVER witnessed. And I've been using PDA's for MANY years.

In this case it is to do with the way the forums generally work. A thread, in which some one hasn't posted in for a while, sinks to the ends of the forum page 1->2->3... This is because the thread with the newest post is generally displayed first. This is also why stickys exist, to keep important threads at the top of the forum. So if someone does a "bump" or "up" he wants the thread to be noticed again and bring it to the top of the forum. Although "bumps" and "ups" in my experience aren't liked by mods, at least on other boards.
X1 music ID
Just been looking at the sony x1 xperia, it has a software like this, can someone confirm this? and if so can we get our sticky hands on it?

My girlfriend has a normal Sony phone and it has an app that identifies music. That means its probably Java based, have a search around the internet.
You're not going to get it from the X1 though, the phones not even out yet! Also wouldn't it be Warez as it's Sonys app
How's it differ from all the HTC apps floating around here? If it was a part of any HTC rom we would all have it cooked in.
Does anyone have the user PDF manual (that came with their Diamond on CD ROM) as I have lost mine and for some reason there isn't one available on the HTC website, If you click on "support" the phone isn't even listed...I have tried all the English speaking countries listed on the HTC website but still nothing to be found....
Would anyone be able to upload one here?

Here you go brother

Thanks!
I wonder why it doesn't appear on their website(s) yet...

Am I thick or what!
I've been searching for a Shop Savvy-like program for WM and am getting nowhere. Does anyone know if one has been made, and if so, point me in the right direction?
like the shopping channel on your kaiser? ha, no my friend never even heard of such a thing
spb online is the only one i can think of
Shop Savvy is a program for the G1 (aka Google Android). It scans barcodes with the camera, and checks prices and compares them between different stores.

Thanks for the tip, I will try it out.
Edit: Seems it is a 2d barcode reader. I need something that will read 1d barcodes. Nice try though.
Diddo, would love to see a wicked proggy like this one. Let's keep our eyes out.

Barcode reader...in process
Search Barcorama.
The early BETAs have not been bad. It does what you are looking for.

WWW.fastpricecheck.com You have to manually type in bar code #'s, but it works.
here's the app you're looking for: http://www.fuzemobility.com/snap-a-photo-of-a-barcode-and-automatically-compare-prices-online/
Why did you link away from xda?

I thought you had found something new.
You do realize that just links back here to xda to get Barcorama, right? And that Barcorama was just mentioned a couple of posts up.
shopspark for windows mobile
Hello,
We are releasing shopspark (same concept as shopsavvy and redlaser) for windows mobile in 2 weeks. please check back soon.
Hi All
Is there a way to have the dailer suggest your contacts like on other Android devices? An example would be if you had a contact named "Sam".. you would just enter "726" on the dialer and Sam would be an option for you to select. Very handy, but seem to miss it on CM6.
Let me know if there are any solutions
Cheers!
Other android's dialers do this?
That's a feature that I miss from blackberry.
You just start typing somebody's name...
My brother paid for a dialer that does this.
Called atakephone or something like that.
There is also a pretty active thread for a dialer in the android apps forum here but i don't think that it's free either.

Thanks for the response! Do you have a link to that thread?
Im using the HTC DHD as well and it does exactly that.. I know the BBs do it too. Such a practical feature.. I could have sworn it was native to Android but now I'm thinking this may be HTC specific.
Sure here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=784778&highlight=dialer
I would have posted it before but I was just leaving.
Here is the market link https://market.android.com/details?id=eir.dialer
This is the other one that I mentioned https://market.android.com/details?id=com.shsh.android.atakephone
Couple of freebies
Dialer One https://market.android.com/details?id=kz.mek.DialerOne
TouchPal Smart Dialer https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cootek.smartdialer
I am using Dailer One, never had a problem with this app
Upon doing that quick search, I think that I may try TouchPal Smart Dialer because it will also search through a person's company name while inserting numbers... I think. That's what I gather from the description.
This is mainly why my brother bought atakephone dialer.
