Hi everyone, I am looking for a battery meter widget which is placed at the top status bar as a color bar or line, it is not neither icon or percentage. As battery goes down, the line is shorter. Too bad I can't provide a screenshot but I've seen it around somewhere here, on this forum. Any help is appreciated. Thx
p.s. Bad habit from my old SE Xperia X1
I found a screeshot, maybe it will help.

Agreed and a Bump. I used to have this one on EVERY WinMo Device I had (except WinMo Standard devices). I would love to see this on Android. If its there, I can't find it.
Its called BattLineSvc.. Unfortunately it seems that its only available for Windows Mobile at the moment!
Would be great if it could be ported over!
If you use a MIUI rom, you can find this.
It has 3 battery options, one of which is the horizontal line at the top.
So, only MIUI, no port exists yet, right?

is there a program that makes it look like this...or something close to it?..i need the time to remain where it is....and if not the battery icon on the same long...how about a seperate line under the date
Unlike many on this forum I do not wish to be, but please forgive me if I sound rude. In the time it took to write the post, screen capture, draw the diagram etc you could have found a couple of different battery indicators by simply searching. The forum gets mighty crowded with all of these questions that can be very easily avoided.
Anyways, to answer your question, I use battery indicator found in QuickMenu, which looks a lot like LordSmiffs battery indicator, and SPB PocketPlus...they are all bars above the time. Furthermore, there are a plethora of today plugins that you can configure to show only the battery and then just move it up/down in your taskbar.
Heres a good starting point for cabs to install and various purposes. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319468 (LordSmiff's is in there somewhere in the first post) also check out battery status today plugin there (screenshots http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatteryStatus_XDA_Neo_WM5_iM_cs.htm#Themes)
Hello,
I have a transparent background for the status bar but the date superimposed on the left so that mask icons:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I would like to put the date in the middle of the status bar like this:
how could I do? Should I use APKTOOL with which file?
I searched but I do not find...
thank you
I'm wondering how to do that too, except that i'd like to do it with the battery and the clock.
i have no idea.. but what theme are you using

Nexus live wallpaper and status bar png from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7611112&postcount=39 but i only use statusbar_background.9.png
but I advise to darken the png, if not on the white background you do not see the clock

With the battery and clock you can change the order of what status icons are from source. It's one of the xml's in framework/base/core/res/res/values (I think it's array or config.xml).
Not sure on what controls the placement of the date.
I used to have a screenshot of the clock in a different place but I can't find it now :-/
Hey
I've been making a gingerbread theme from the leaked pics, so far I've done the status bar icons and status bar Ive also done a modded adw launcher, but I cant install today so i was wondering if someone could please test it out for me? Thanks
Get the whole theme here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=861658
Tested and working on T-Mobile G1, CM6.1RC1. Had to delete the system ADW to use it, but I'm on it now and it's slick. Settings all seem to work. What did you change, other than a few images?
Images just for now, the rest will come later
Thanks alot btw

From what I see you need to turn down the green a little and flip the battery. Also I think if you greenify the WiFi icon from Simplistic it'll look a lot like the one in the pic
Okay thanks, although what I could tell the picture looks faded some how, so I added a little more vibrance
I will work on flipping the battery also
EDIT: Also here is a non faded looking pic

Heya all,
I want to request a new Slide bar to unlock the phone.
I want something that maybe was done before, but I can't find it.
Here's what I want;
A transparent bar, where the time is displayed and the provider on top of it written in White.
I got a picture that kinda looks like what I want;
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
*Note; Picture is not mine.
Thanks in advance,
Aliq

I really want the unlock slider to be transparent with the time in it and the provider on top of the slider.
Try lockbot free u can make the slider transparent or anything actually.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
That's not it either, is there a tutortial I can follow to make my own slider?
It is indeed widgetlocker: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825553
Hi.
I hope this thread is placed in the right forum, otherwise please feel free to move it.
As the scope of my application is no longer limited to just SDCards, I think it is time for a new icon.
Unfortunately, I do not have a good idea how it should look like or what content it should have.
Currently the app looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see the icon (in the upper left corner) is showing a SDCard right now.
Here are some first drafts of new icons. I'm not happy with both of them so far. But I would like to show them to you, maybe you have an idea to improve one of these concepts.
The first one:
Somehow I like the pictogram style, but somehow it does not work for me. I will try to play with different colors... maybe if I use the blue of the original icon it will look better.
The second one:
Does not work for me as well.
What is your feeling about it?
Maybe you have a complete different idea!?
If you want to see the app in real life, ehe download link for the beta version can be found here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/116580417241372596615/116580417241372596615/posts/EzjdP1h3Lqg
If you prefer to discuss on Google+ regarding the new icons, here is the related G+ post: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/116580417241372596615/116580417241372596615/posts/JBejt368gy8
Thanks in advanced
How about this?
Two icons easily found on icon host sites joined together.
