Right as I am new to Android and been looking around at mods and themes hope now we perm root might get some where. But what I want to know is? There any way moding home screen like CyanogenMod for the desire HD ? Because I wanna learn how to do it and make my own.

Hey if you want your homescreen to look a little bit more like syanogenmod, you can start by installing ADW launcher its free in the market, and its the launcher CM uses for their releases
i suggest you get some themes for the launcher if you download it

I've pulled the files from the x10 honeycomb theme. Work in progress but I'm new too this and a bit slow so someone else might have it done before me I'm working on cm7 by the way

I Have launcher 7 allready installed and in use but, what i mean is a total change from skin of the phone. Do you know "Fedes Music Player"? I mean something like this. I want the real feel an look from wp7 also in the settings, the apps and so on (without buying a wp7 phone ^^).
Launcher 7 is awesome :-D. But only the homescreen an app drawer -.-

Hya guys I had an app not so long ago from market that makes your screen and icons alot smaller so I could fit icons really close to each other I think it began with an L I'm not sure sorry I can't give any more info

Launch x app offers this is a free or a paid app or you can change the lcd density with an app from the market whichever you prefer i would suggest launch x...next time please research before starting a thread this should be posted in the general,questions and answers hope this helps

Oh I have another question didn't wanna make another thread.
The question is how do we make animations as in android os animations like window animations and stuff e.g fly in animation. What I want 2 make is a simple one that just slides. If you have ever used adw ex it has that option for app opening animation (the slide one) I wonder if its possible to take the required codes for that ani from the launchers source code and replace it with all os animations not just app opening

Any nwes about this rom? I got the perfect music player for this rom . Also you can use sslauncher and modify it to look like the new wp8 instead of wp7.

no WP8 launcher, thats crap...i use lighting launcher with simple text maker or ultimate custom widget, just make it yourself with size, color and icons you want it

its not gonna be problem if Metro UI hd widget that im using isnt paid app...this is some kind of rule on xda about warrez...just use what i said to you: ultimate custom widget (can make tittle and color of widgets) and lighting launcher...i will post my screenshoot in few minutes to see how it looks...its not hard...play with customization
