everytime i receive mms forwards i am currently using cm6.1 rc1 i receive picture mail but everytime i get a forward it says failed to download

So I flashed the cm7 rc1 on my hero and everything works great but my mms only works half the time with wifi off..so I tried flashing (sirthumpalots)cm7 based ics rom to test the mms and I have the same issue except I can receive but can't send mms..and I can't find any Apns settings by using dialer open apn method or through my settiings ,wireless networks....no apn settings anywhere..the phone carrier is Gci here in AK and I have no data plan but I do have mms on the plan..thanks in advance
I had a similar issue with sending and receiving MMS with the default messenger app. Then I decided to install Handcent SMS from the market and for some reason I was able to see all the MMS that was sent and received.
Firstly, I'm using the stock kernel on Dhacker29 and Hashcode's AOKP JB. My text message notifications aren't showing up when I receive a message. I'm pretty sure it has to do with GoSMS being installed (I need it for when I receive MMS for now) and I have MySMS installed to send text messages from my tablet and PC. Is there a way I can set the stock messaging to the default or something, so I can receive the notifications?
I have a branded and rooted Nexus 6. Everything is working fine. I'm using the default Nxtgenphone APN. No problem with SMS messaging or group messaging as MMS.
I'm trying to send and receive picture MMS. Using the Messenger app, I get a cannot send message; tap to retry. Switching to Hangouts gets me a MMS message cannot be stored.
Anyone have this problem and can offer a solution?
For now. I'll say this problem has gone away. I rebooted and all is well.

Had the same problem when i try to send a picture message on my n6 i could receive but cant send them on the android app i installed textra and i could send mms again thats weird
Swap your Sim card , had the same issue on T-Mobile.

After a few hours of trying to figure out how tonrecieve MMS without mobile data I found a solution.
Unfortunately you do mot recieve the MMS but you get notified that there is a MMS waiting that needs to be downloaded.
You need the Handecent SMS app that can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free, go into recieve message settings and untick auto retrieve. Then go into notification settings and untick notify after download. Now everytime you get a MMS you will be notified
Hope that helped someone. I used to have Sony and HTC android phones that had no problem auto retrieveing MMS, so this has been a big letdown for me on Nexus.
Hi, anyone have the problem with Android Messages MMS? For some odd reasons, i can't received MMS with Google Android Messages app , SMS are okay though. MIUI stock messaging app have no issues with MMS or SMS.
I'm on global dev latest rom.
