Does the original $529 N1 supports only TMobile 3g?

Hello everyone, I bought my N1 back in Jan when it was first launched with phone-only for $529.
My question is does this original unlocked phone only supports T-Mobile USA 3G? Does it will work with some other 3G carrier like ATT and maybe China Unicom when I trave to China?
Thank you
Original N1 (T-mobile) only works with 3g on T-mobile and will work on 2g only for ATT.
Thanks.
Can anyone confirm is the original N1 compatitable with China Unicom 3g network?
Thanks a lot..
China Unicom 3g frequency is 2100 mhz. The original nexus one supports 2100 mhz. So they SHOULD be compatible. I have obviously not tested this, and I would verify that they work with your own research before buying one based purely on my post.

Technically, it should. Since China Unicom on 2100 band, and N1 supports it as well. However, if you are roaming, check carefully if you can roam to China Unicom 3G network (or China Unicom at all). I once was roaming on one network, but they wouldn't let me hop on their 3G.

[Q] newb firmware question

I'm in the US and want to buy an unlocked, international version of the I-9000, probably from Singapore, probably on AT&T.
Will Samsung release "generic," non-carrier specific ROMS? Or will that be all from the excellent developer community?
I'm hoping it would still do high-speed 3G because it covers some of AT&T's 3G bands???
Thanks!
Eh. You cant get a international version in usa. If you get one from singapore it will be international ver. It will have problems on at&t as they use 850/1900 mhz for 3g while international ver uses 900/2100mhz. Before you buy a device please make sure the 3G radio will work with your telco. If you are in usa then buy one from the telco you will be using as it will be set up right. But for rest of world we can get away with standard international gsm ver

[Q] O2 HD7 on Wind Mobile (AWS)

I have an unlocked 02 HD7 which I brought with me before emigrating from the UK.
I am currently using it on Rogers, however I am thinking of upping sticks and moving to windmobile which is AWS. I know that the HD7 was sold be TMO US so it is AWS compatible but was this a different hardware to the O2 version or is there a way to get it to work on AWS (radio rom flash etc.)
Thanks
Tim
Shameless bump, anyone know the answer. Or alternatively know if you can use a Euro HD7 on TMo US?
Tim
From what i know about O2 is that they don't use the same frequencies as such changing the radio version won't do any good as the physical antenna design wont work with the AWS frequencies. your best bet would be to sell the HD7 and buy a new one a Tmo version. I bought mine about a week ago for $425CAD in Toronto and am now using it on Wind.
They're different hardware. The Bell HD7 doesn't work on WIND for the same reason.
Thanks for you help, hoped it wasn't the answer but guess I will sell up and move on.

NEXUS 6 US version will work in india on 3G netwroks??

im planning to buy a US version of nexus 6 unlocked form amazon..now im going to use the phone in india for a while,,and india we still dont have LTE connectivity quite all over the place,,where i live we have 3G connection at 2100 Mhz frequency(may be,,im not sure of it)..bt we use 3G connection all the tym and after that im going to use phone in south america in guyana where even there no 4G bands are there still..
SO,,is it good to buy the US version unlocked as its quite cheaper than internationl version unlocked,,and im going to use just 3G bands all the tym out side US?
I know as far down as Brazil they are using the International Version. Gonna depend on what bands you need. That is what need to research.

These links are a start. Need to be compatible here also. 3rd link gives you that. There are probably better links that give more info but should be a start.
