SE LiveView is hitting the market!
Anybody could tell me if it's compatible with a Magic/MT3G with CyanogenMod 6 ROM?
Apps installed on the phone should support LiveView in order to make it works. Is there any app already compatible?
Ty
It should be compatible with any android. And I think it can play music through bluetooth A2DP which is supported by HTC Magic.

Hi,
does anyone succeeded to install the Viera remote app on his optimus 2x ?
The market says may LG optimus 2x does not support this application.
However the app is available to phone since 2.2.
I'm based on Topogiggi rom
Anyone could help ?
thanks
no one got a panasonic tv here ?
I did a quick search for "viera remote" in market 2 as the market 3 seems to throw up MANY apps as NOT compatible for my O2X. I didn't find it. What do you actually search for and I'll try it in Market 2.
I have Panasonic TV
I´ve already instaled this app, it woeks fine, but it didn´t find any device. I have CM7 nightlies.
stevvie I don't know what you call market 2 or 3 but the apps i'm looking for is called 'Viera remote'
It looks like a great app to remotly control your panasonic viera tv.
The app is showing on android web market but tells me it is not compatible with my optimus.
I dont understand why because i'm on 2.3.4 (topogigi rom) and the app should be available.
As for you CZVAGY, how did you install the app ? it is the official panasonic app ?
If you guys could get me an apk( it is a free app) or explain me how i could install it , it would be great !
thanks
peuhhh
I´ve instaled it from Android market and yes, this is orginal app from Panasonic. I think, the problem is in your Topogigi, because I use CM7.
If you want *.apk, send me PM and I´ll send you the file.
Unfortunately (for me), my Panasonic TV doesnt support Viera link via LAN, so this app isn´t useful for me. Maybe in the future when I´ll buy a new TV...

wdremote is an official remote app from western digital.
I was using this app on my galaxy s1 (Ver. 1.0.1) with the WD TV live (gen. 3) box.
All was perfect.
The WD TV live box got a frimware upgrade to 1.08.17 and the app wasn't working anymore.
There is a new app wdremote (Ver. 1.0.2), which is working on a Huawei X3 Phone, but is not installable on the galaxy S1
The questions:
- Why is it not working? What is the background?
- Is there a trick or a workaround to makre it working?
I could post the wdremote.apk file in Version 1.0.2.
Many thanx
solution found
I do not know the answers, but I do know a workaround:

With the Editor and the German instructions I could make my Samsung kool like an HTC and the App installed and is running fine !!!
If somebody knows, why the SGS 1 is not supported, i would love to know
Hello xda!
I've had Xperia Z and Bluetooth MW1 a couple of months and it only shows "unknown - unknown" in the handsfree display even if title streaming is enabled in PowerAmp.
When i flashed it to CM10.1 it worked fine. But then I flashed to stock, and "unknown - unknown" appears again.
i decided to try ROMAUR, witch is based on a stock firmware and the same problem still exists.
Title streaming works with the original Walkman app. But even if I inactivate it or force a uninstall, it doesnt allow PowerAmp to stream any titles to Sony Smart Wireless Headset Pro (MW1).
Does anyone have any ideas why?
Best regards Trehjulingsleffe.
Sorry for my bad english -

Yes. I have the same problem.

f.e. to change the bt files?
send from my Xperia™-Tablet Z using xda premium
Applicable for MW1
makes sure you have "smart connect" installed in the first place
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...NvbS5zb255ZXJpY3Nzb24uZXh0cmFzLmxpdmV3YXJlIl0.
once you pair it then
Did you install this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...4uZXh0cmFzLnNtYXJ0d2lyZWxlc3NoZWFkc2V0cHJvIl0.
other way it will not work

Yes. I've installed both apps above. Otherwise it wont work with walkman player either.
My old Xperia Arc can send Spotify and PowerAmp titles to MW1, but not Xperia Z. I guess it has something to do with Walkman. But i don't want to use Walkman when i bought PowerAmp witch is better by far.

Without installing anything it works fine with Walkman, but it doesn't work with PowerAmp. I emailed the development and no sound from them.

1)Well as long as I am aware poweramp does have not build in - avcrp 1.3. So that could be an issue
2)Sony makes a custom sound driver for the MW1. that is way the smart connect is build in.
3) by installing a cynonomod os you installing a standard drivers which have avcrp 1.3 build in standard version (without sony modification )

Hmm, you may be right on all three points. But isn't it possible to flash something in CWM or TWRP to override the Sony crappy thing? I'm not so good at how it works, and even worse to self make a zip file which could fix this problem.
Hello everybody!
I want to solve my problem with playing music in a car. I have an Xperia SP and about a year ago, I tested like 10 ROMs in very short period of time and I don't remember names of these ROMs, but I remember that one of these had this really cool app, which would allow me to use my phone as an FM Transmitter. I didn't think it was something special back then, but I could really make use of it now.
I tested it on my radio at home and it really worked. Not many phones have FM transmitter, but some Xperias, as I read now, accidentally have this function. I've tried to google that app, all I found was Spirit FM app which wasn't working for me and I'm sure it's not the app that I'm looking for..
Doesn't anybody have this app, ROM or a tip how I could find it? Any help appreciated
FM Transmitter depends on the ROM support.. AdrianDC has made an add-on for this with CM12.1 but after lollipop, FM Transmitter has been deprecated forever.
Sent from my Xperia SP using Tapatalk
Not exactly.
You could use a flashable zip (called addon) which set a value in build.prop which activated the FM transmitter app. It worked not only on L, but also on M. You could also set the value manually. It was something like ro.fm.transmitter = true or similar.
Afaik, this app isn't included anymore in lineage.
But there are two apps which are called Spirit FM, Version 1 and 2. They do exactly what you want.
Version 1 is available for free somewhere on Xda.
Version 2 is a little costly and available on the Playstore.
They worked then, I'm quite sure they still do.
