Hi
I have a HTC TytnII with Windows 6.1 OS running. Now i would like to replace my windows to android OS. To be more exactly i would like to run Android OS fix on my mobile phone and a Windows 6.5 OS on a miniSD, because i still want to use the TomTom Navigator.
Is this possible? If yes, how can i do it? Since I'm totally a newbee can you explain me as detail as possible.
I'm sorry if this question already has made. If yes can you post me the direct link to that thread?
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi there
Thanks for an invaluable source of information on all things Kaiser.
Im after some information on Blackberry Connect having just flashed my ROM to WM6.1.
It seems that RIM in their wisdom check the combination of OS and Device when you try and provision your phone to the BES. They ultimately decide which combination of phone and OS can connect.
My question is who do I persue to get BB Connect to work with my Vodafone 1614? Is it HTC, Vodafone, Microsoft or RIM? Im on 4.x.x.x.97 by the way.
My other option of course is to downgrade to WM6.0 but I cant find the original Vodadone ROM (the HTC ones dont work).
Thanks
Jeremy
BBConnect and WM 6.1
You need to make a simple registry change. HLKM, System, Versions from .1.0.3 to .04.2

Come on, first post ever and it's a new thread about something already covered.
I'm not trying to me mean but that is not a good way to start. Please read the What is XDA-Devs link in my signature.

Any chance to sync TyTN II 6.0 with an old windows ME based PC? I've seen the last ActiveSync that support WinMe is the 3.7. unfortunately this version does not recognise the Windows Mobile 6.0 device. I think a specific driver should be needed. may be someone can help me?
Thanks
Oreste
Upgrade from Windows ME!
Windows ME? That's probably the worst OS microsoft has put out....even a "downgrade" to Windows 98 SE would help you out!
can someone help me sync via DOS ?

What about my old Apple IIe? I really wanna sync the contact info for my 4th grade girlfriend that is still on it.
didn't you have to always boot those from a floppy? or maybe my school was too cheap for hard drives.
I believe there was an add on hard-drive.
I want to Sync from my Commodore 64!

I have a 10MB hard drive addon for it. And as of 2 months ago, when I found it buried in my garage, it still booted up!
You should mount that bad boy into your car.

When Android is ported to X1, it should be possible. Until then, probably not. Maybe some new (not yet anounced/released) HTC windows mobile phones will use a similar UI. In that case it will be a lot easier to port it to X1
I think first step should be ported Linux kernel with working drivers for Xperia hardware and then you can think about GUI

That's what a few members are working on.... but you're right. That's why I said 'when android is ported'.
Not a must, I heared Sense will come on winmo too, so no need for the hassle to port linux !
I don't think that "SenseUI" is coming to Windows Mobile. I've seen a lot of previews about the Hero. HTC has made a lot of changes in the "Manilla Firestorm", so I think that TouchFLO is the interface of WinMobile and SenseUI of android.
best wishes cemetry

Check this out then....
Hi guys,
I think my phone is bricked or something, when i woke up this morning my xperia was acting a bit strange, couldn't find some .exe files for like youtube and contacts. So i rebooted my phone. now all i get while booting is the little xperia intro and then it's frozen.. unlucky i can't post a picture to show you..
i was running the latest rom of christian's roms: version 3.511 build 28002
What i did try was to boot my device in the 4 coloured bars and run Hard SPL on it, this didn't work out either:
Here you can already see it is like i don't have a OS anymore..

And this is the error i get:
Can someone help me out here?
Thank in advance!
Well thank god thare is another way for putting OS on X1, than with this utility. With this program you must have working ROM, to put another ROM on it. But with the second method, instaling ROM from MicroSD, all you need is working HardSPL Bios. Try this method.
If this was the only method, thany we would have a lot of briched Xperias here, couse from time to time OS can die. Bios is a safeguard. But if Bios is broken...
Great i'll try that!
I'll let you guys know if it works.
Thanks!
It worked! thx for ur help!
Since it's a trend to do this, I'll be the 1st one who will have a Duodecuple(12) boot HD2. Yes! 12 OS's ported to the HD2!
Here it iz in [email protected]@@111
