I have tytn ii, last monday i flashed the original rom wm 6.1....
but when i put the sim card, it shows no sim... could someone tell me what could i do... but when i extend the slide, it`s okay.. and when i retract the slide, it shows no sim again.... is it hardware problem or the software prob.....?

My HTC Touch Diamond won't get any service! I mean like it won't connect to AT&T! I know that I have the SIM Card properly inserted.
Here's how it started. I went to bed on Sunday night, and my Diamond was working perfect, with great cell phone signal. Then, I wake up the next day and it has no signal at all. I know that the AT&T towers weren't down because I put my SIM card into another phone and it got full bars. Would upgrading the RADIO version or putting on a new ROM help? Please help!

Please I need help from someone, when I slide out my keyboard on my Kaiser the phone no longer gets GSM signals and sometimes does not see my SIM card. I noticed this problem after flashin TPC elite v2.1 and subsequently remained that way no matter the 6.5 ROM I used. I have tried SIM fix which I downloaded somewhere on XDA but it did not help. Can someone tell me what the problem is and how to solve it. Thanks
Did you check if the SIM door is properly closed ? Seems to be an hardware issue, just tested with my device and no prob at all
I use my kaiser as usual, but suddenly the phone gone wrong, freeze then I must reboot to continue.(simple pull out battery)
After that, The phone refuse to recognize (or fail to recognize) SIM.
I checked SIM tray, replace another SIM but always the same problem, no signal or no valid sim inserted.
Did my phone was dead SIM tray?
I notice too, Radio rom was normal. I use rom 6.5.

So i tryied reading the forum but i really did not see anything like it so I will ask my question.
My Tytn is in great shape(normaly) without SIM and jut to be shure i took the memory card out to. But soon as I insert the SIM the display just stucks. Can't use any buttons, can't use touch display, it just stays like that with dimed display.
And yes I did try my SIM card with two other phones and guess what- no problem there. It seems to appear only on my Tytn.
So please, if someone has any ideas please share, so i woud be able to use my freaky phone!

I think you have problems SIM Issue door ...! you'd better release the SIM card first then try a soft reset your device ....
after the soft reset you can replace the SIM card and the device operates properly
I did soft restart I even reinstalled the rom but still...
Shud i go to my provider and ask for a new SIM or i some kind of mechanical problem with the door?

if so you'd better try using sim unlock, maybe it can help you

Problem Solved.
It appeared to be a hardware problem afterall. The problem was in the solders of the sim-card-holder.
I have the following problem with my Kaiser.
It happened for a second time.
First time was about an year ago...
Suddenly the phone stops to recognize my SIM Card. It says "Sim Card Missing".
When I put my SIM in another phone it works just fine.
When I put another SIM card in MY phone - it works too.
The only thing that does NOT work is MY Sim Card in MY phone .
Last time I tryed to change it for free by my operator, but there was the same situation - MY Sim Card worked in every phone in the operators shop, except mine and they said that I must pay for the new card. So I did and the new card works just fine since now.
First time my Kaiser was with the Stock Rom 6.0.
Now it is flashed with Stylez Black 6.1 Rom.
That`s why I don`t think the problem is ROM related...
Anybody have had the same problem ?!?!
Is there any way to fix it without paying for a new SIM card ?

It can be a flex problem, try to search "no sin card message" . There are many threads situación this issue.
