Apps2SD should function in liquidsense the same as the NFX stock rom that it was based on. From a shell type a2sd check to see if it's working.
If you are running the liquidsense based on the 651.2 rom, there's a file that
you will need to remove in order to move dalvik to the SD card, and the details
for that are posted at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849024
First post near the bottom..
basically the only difference between the NFX and liquidsense roms that I know
of are that Liquid's roms are zipaligned and png optimized, and Liquid ripped out
a ton of bloat out of the stock rom for us.

Can the Donut market be put onto a hero build wuold it be as simple as pushing the market apk or is there more to it then that? and if pushing it is possible what are the commands for cyan 4.1.11.1 donut market to jacheroski 2.2b.
not possible. Hero = android 1.5
THX 4 the help
makes sense and another question, if im using jacheroski 2.2b with the extra ram hack and I flash back over to cyanogen 4.1.11.1 will I still have the ramhack ? and what if I did a nandroid restore of cyan would it still be there?
No RAM hack is kernel based. The kernel is located in the boot.img so if you make a nandroid backup yes the kernel hack will be in the backup
cool
thx just wanted to know if it was kernal.
I've been using Biffmod 2.1 on my G1 for a couple days, including the upgrade to the 2708 radio. But I'm just not happy with the speed. I'm assuming if I roll back to Eclair, the speed will be better. But do I have to downgrade my radio too, or can I flash an Eclair ROM, then flash a 2708 kernel on top of it?
Why not try an updated Biffmod 2.1, or one of the ota 2.2.1 roms first? Ezterry's OTA and Froyo4trout are pretty fast.
As for downgrading, I don't see why the universal kernel patch wouldnt work, but I'm not sure.
you can just flash the eclair rom over your exisiting rom(wipe first ofc then flash preferred eclair rom, universal kernal patch, then firerats spoof spl.)

Is the flashing of a new radio and SPL actually necessary? When I had a g1 I frequently switched between cupcake, donut, eclair, AND froyo ROMs. I never had to flash a new radio or SPL between ROMs. Just do a wipe between flashing roms, especially between firmware versions (what I mean by that is you should do a full wipe, cache, dalvik cache, and all betweem different versions of android, such as 1.6 to 2.1 or 2.1 to 2.2, etc.)
Ya, that's right. The radio shouldn't make a difference in the rom once you flash the kernel patch. I just didn't see that much of a speed difference between froyo and eclair. If you wanted a speed boost, donut would be your best bet. Its the fastest on these old phones.

I think eclair was probably worse than froyo since it was a port from the nexus one if I remember correctly. Google included the g1 drivers in the source code for froyo, so it was a straight up AOSP build, no porting necessary.
i'm using the latest CM atm, but can i get the original 2.1 back for my wildfire?
i want to try the 2.2 froyo.
Flash wildpuzzle them. It`s based on the official 2.2.1

You need to copy the ROM to sdcard, get into recovery and wipe clean followed by flashing the rom zip.
So i finally managed to find a stock vodafone rom on android 2.3.4 with dutch, however i cannot get any a2sd script working. Anyone else now how to fix this?

What happens if you try flashing darktremor?
By the way, why did you return to stock firmware?
Maybe kernel don't support.

Proper support for dutch language And the stock look of gingerbread, wich i like. BUt if there is no way to get a2sd to work then i go straight back to cm7. Darktremor a2sd does not do anything, in terminal it says illegall command and a2sdgui says something is wrong. Also ad2sdx does not work, s2e does not work.
It won't work, since you're on the stock ROM with stock kernel. You need kernel that supports A2SD.

WHat kernel supports stock rom and a2sd? Thanks in advance
Any Gingerbread kernel that is marked as suitable for AOSP or AOSP/CM7 should do. Look at the kernel threads, this info will most likely be in the thread title.

There are so many kernels... Bloody hell! Anyways i would like to use a kernel that is suitable for ad2sdx. Can you please also provide install instructions? (noob here)
Thanks in advance
Install instructions are pretty much straightforward. Reboot to recovery, flash kernel, reboot, see that OS is loading and feels fine, reboot to recovery, flash A2SD, reboot, see that everything's still fine, open Terminal Emulator or A2SDGUI, configure what you want.
