I have searched with no success looking for a widget/application that would allow me to toggle between the default lock screen and the pattern lock.
Does anyone know of a widget/application that I can accomplish this with?

Is that confirmed to work on 2.2? I know the toggles for the pattern locks worked on 2.1, but I've seen at least one review of Switch Pro Widget saying the toggle for the pattern lock won't work.

I am running the latest Froyo Cognition rom. I would like to disable the lock screen and use just LockBot from the market. As it stands not when i activate LockBot with the lock i choose and the phone locks i have 2 locks i must slide to open the phone.
Anyone that could help i would be grateful.

I'm tired off drawing my secret pattern eachtime that i turn the screen off. I saw on a friend's Milestone2 that Ms2 let's its owner to use lockscreen and 9dots together. So, the 9dots or password is activated, let's say 30sc-2mn-5mn, after the normal lockscreen (android, rotary, epic, glass..) is activated.
Is it possible to have this feature on SGS??
I think it isn't possible and you can only use one the pattern or the lockscreen.
what im trying to say is, can i have the glass lock screen and a pattern, and swipe the lock screen without the pattern , THEN have the pattern to show up? im on Continuum 5.6, thanks for any info.

shouldn't you be able to do that if you enable both the regular lock screen and the pattern unlock?
Another option is to get widgetlocker, with this you can customize lock screen and if you have the pattern enabled it will come up AFTER the lock screen, or atleast thats what it did for me.
yah i use to use widgetocker but no glass lockscreen and music controls.
on the newest version of widget locker theres an option for the SGS style which is more or less the glass screen and u can add the music widget onto it.
In HTC Sense, whenever I activate the display, I get the normal unlock screen which allows direct access to different apps by swiping the corresponding dock icons...
This normal lockscreen is ALWAYS shown, and if I have enabled a secure lockscreen (like pattern unlock or face unlock), this secure lockscreen is shown AFTER the first "normal" lockscreen.
Is there an AOSP/AOKP/CM based mod that can do the same thing?

Use case is the following: I use face unlock, but sometimes I just want to have a quick look at the lockscreen (widgets). But with cyanogenmod, as soon as I press the power button, my face gets recognized and the phone is unlocked. It's so quick that I can't even see the dashclock widget.
So it would be perfect to have a normal "slide to unlock" lockscreen (with different slide targets for different apps), and THEN the face unlock.
I don't get it why HTC Sense seems to be the only system that has this kind of behavior properly implemented

Unfortunately, Widget Locker has its own problems...
I have different apps that show music or other playback controls on the lockscreen (Play Music, TuneIn Radio, Yatse), and those don't work with Widget Locker.
So this brings me back to my original question... is there really no "not-Sense-based" rom that can display the normal "slide to unlock" screen before the secure lockscreen?

I've been looking for a different lock screen from Magazine as it doesn't have some features that come in really handy (e.g. swipe to open/dismiss and above all a calendar/schedule widget). So far, Hi locker is the one that I found better suited to me. However, I have a problem: the phone does not allow me to use fingerprint unlocking without having password, pin or pattern. So, either I have a double lock screen (worst part, Magazine shows first!) or I cannot use the fingerprint sensor. Is there any way to solve this? Or at least have a basic calendar widget in the default lock screen? Thank you in advance!

Magazine is the default EMUI lock screen. It would also be a nice workaround to have Hi locker show up before EMUI lockscreen
