Has anyone actually tried this on DJ_Steve's Froyo Build? wondering if it's compatible.
If it's bluetooth it should be.
Yup,

I have a normal dinovo keyboard and mouse combo and that works too.
Hi,
Works fine, but the keylayout was not appropriated for me.
Had to adapt the kcm.bin and .kl file to get it properly working (with home, back and menu keys too).
If some are interested, you'll can find it in Modaco streak forums (DiNovo keylayout topic)

I'd like to use an external bluetooth keyboard with the HD2.
It should:
1) Be compatible with HD2
2) Be compact / foldable
3) Should include "mouse" support (touchpad, trackpoint, ...)
4) If possible it should be able to hold the HD2 (Athena like)
Could anybody recommend one?
Would HD2 transparently work with any BT/HID keyboard including the mouse support (pointer displayed on HD2 screen driven by trackpoint/touchpad from BT keyboard)?
Same here. Just wanted to push this thread. I would be very much interested in having such a device since my laptop is crap and I never gonna buy one again.
HD2 questionmarks
Nobody has an experience connecting bluetooth keyboard and mouse to Windows Mobile device???
And second question: is there a chance that HD2 is physically able to have USB Host and TV Out, but there just aren't drivers and TV cable at the moment?
I have - I used to use BlueInput drivers from Teksoft to connect a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard with my Touch HD.
Unfortunately however the HD2 seems to be using Broadcom bluetooth stack drivers that aren't compatible with BlueInput (Touch Pro2 owners have the same problem), so now I can't use then anymore -_-... at least until they make the BlueInput software compatible with Broadcom drivers or some Chef hacks in the Microsoft Bluetooth stack into a custom rom.
Haven't tried the default Stowaway keyboard drivers that came with the keyboard though, so maybe I can get the keyboard working again, but not the mouse until BlueInput is working.
Also very interested! Love how the Celio Redfly worked with my X1 but with HD2 no luck so far...
yep looking on with much interest
Guys, redfly is working. for both bluetooth connection and usb.
Also, as for kb, i recommand logitech dinovo mini. Its great
conect usb keyboard
I like to connect usb keyboard is this possible....i need help.. the bluetooth keyboard i dont like it because it takes to connect ...is posible for usb.
thank gracias
Dear Folks
I have the iGO bluetooth keyboard that works great - I purchased this about 18 months ago for use with my Nokia E63.
Now I keep it on my desk and is an excellent way of replying to emails and text messages.
I am going to try SWYPE, for when I'm on the move.

I have tried a few blutooth keyboards but you can't seem to use the arrow keys like you would want to..
The arrow keys work fine on my BB keyboard.

It seems we'll have this the easy way. Teksoft has posted a news on their site, about a Broacom compatible Blueinput version.
Has anyone tried a bluetooth keyboard that works elocity a7
I got one that looks like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1R1D7X86D5K9NN4VHN57
Got mine off ebay and it didn't bring the extras (just keyboard and USB charging cable). It works. You have to inter the coade, 0000, in the eLocity and also on they BT Keyboard for it to pair and connect. After that it works.
Honestly, I don't really use mine.
Using this one:
http://ncix.com/products/?sku=57390&vpn=900335&manufacture=VISIONTEK
A few quirks though - have to pair the keyboard each time with the A7 when starting afresh. Also the enter key does not work for internet browser or youtube apps however it does work elsewhere - strange.
Oh and the mouse pointer is not visible.
Thanks for your answers
My apologies if this was answered before, but do the Xoom or Galaxy Tab branded bluetooth keyboards work well with the NC? My thinking is that since they're designed to work with android, they'll be much easier to pair and maximize functionality with the NC (dedicated android function keys, adapting to orientation shifts, etc). I have a Microsoft bt keyboard I've tried and it's not convenient for me. Anyone tried either of these two yet?

THIS THREAD would most likely answer your question
Thanks for the referral, and I have checked out that thread a couple of times. Unfortunately, it looks like no one there has tested a xoom or tab keyboard. Anyone able to confirm if that purchase would be worthwhile?

From another post I made:
I still have problems with bluetooth keyboards, runing nightly 126 and 131. I have a Xoom bluetooth with a modified qwerty.kl file to enable most of the android special keys to work. The three annoying issues with Xoom keyboard is that it will stop working while typing long messages, have to hit power button on it to restart; a key will stick kkkkkkkkkk; and not easy to get out of pop-up for accent keys. You do not see these problems? The best feature is that I can leave power adapter plugged in with bluetooth.
When I use my Logitech wireless usb combo keyboard and mouse I only seem to get the pop-up accent box. The negative is even with a y cable it does not seem to charge nook while in host and v-bus mode. The combination arrow and keyboard interface is really slick.
Anybody else notice these flaws with bluetooth and usb keyboards?
Edit: At this point I can not recommend the Xoom keyboard. My Logitech wireless usb combo LX 710 Keyboard and LX 7 Cordless Laser Mouse both work with transmitter plugged into male micro female usb adapter. I prefer the usb combination.
Just found this negative post about Xoom keyboard. Exact same problems that I have.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14150996&postcount=70
Edit 2: Maybe I was too harsh on the Xoom keyboard. I changed the batteries, seems better. When you long press a key is when you get accents. A feature not a flaw. Also after 30 seconds of no typing it sleeps, press key for a second to wake it back up. Another feature.
Bluetooth Mouse with Xoom or other Keyboard
Now that I changed the batteries and researched the long press and battery saver sleep feature for inaction, I have been trying to find a bluetooth mouse that seems to work well with the Xoom keyboard. Any input on this?
If you have a different bluetooth keyboard is there a bluetooth mouse happens to work well with your bluetooth keyboard?
I just tried out my logitech BT laser mouse with my logitech tablet keyboard for ipad with beautiful results. Even had a flash drive connected to my powered hub and could read it at the same time. This host mode option has made my nook a new machine. Now to get the webcam working.....

I was hoping this was true. Over in the usb host thread Moshe posted a picture of his setup. We discussed the mouse being bluetooth but found out that the logitech laser mouse is a wireless usb mouse. Still only one report from TheAmazingDave of quality concurrent use of bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard. I can get them concurrently but when the keyboard kicks into sleep mode it locks up the bluetooth mouse pointer and force a hard reboot.
@ Dal and Verygreen. Do you think since the bluetooth mouse and bluetooth phone work on phone concurrently, that eventually we will be able to make them work on the nook concurrently?
Edit: I have loaded two apps Null Keyboard v2 and BlueInput. Not sure what they changed but I do not have the concurrent problem any more. The BlueInput only finds my Bluetooth mouse but does not connect. It does not find the Bluetooth Keyboard at all. The Null Keyboard v2 is suppose to hide the virtual android keyboard. This response is the first time that I have seen the Keyboard work correctly.
Spoke to soon, Xoom keyboard went to sleep and when I pressed key to wake back up, virtual keyboard showed up also.
Edit sent from nook using bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard.
Will any external bluetooth keyboard function together with SE x8? Or none?
Or only specific ones? Someone tested or has one in use?
wont work with my Logitech Y-X5A77
I am thinking about buying this one.
http://www.logilink.eu/showproduct/ID0052.htm
http://www.meinpaket.de/de/31837039/highlights.html
- 5 Eur for Cuppon
Dunno if it will work...
If you know a working one, perhaps cheaper one, tell me.
I have the same keyboard (Logilink) and it works perfect with my X8.
I also tried to connect my bluetooth mouse, which really does work, only problem is that there is no mouse pointer and therefore you can't know where you are clicking.
Alternative
I use wifi keyboard (Android Market)
I just connect my phone and laptop to wifi , and use my laptop's keyboard to type in my phone.
it sound interesting here...i'll try
hey guys I've been searching for a solution all day and I'm out of ideas.
my bluetooth keyboard came in the mail today and for some reason it refuses to work on cm9. the keyboard works perfectly with my netbook, my friends iphone, his ipad, and even booted into webOS but when I'm booted into cm9 nothing happens. I can successfully pair it and it says its connected in the settings but none of the buttons respond. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
edit: forgot to mention I also tried wiping and flashing a new rom. tried both cm9 alpha 2 and aokp m4. same problem on both.
I don't know if this will help, but I've got a Motorola BT keyboard that is designed for android that doesn't work directly with WebOS (or Windows for that matter). To get it to work with WebOS I have to press and hold the 'V', 'A' and 'R' keys when I turn it on.
Perhaps your keyboard has some similar way of selecting alternate platforms?

nope that doesn't work :[.
so I tried my friends bluetooth keyboard and it works great. It seems android 4.0.3 on touchpad seems to be partial to certain keyboards..

So what keyboards are compatible with HP touchpad? I'm thinking of ordering one next week but don't want to waste the money on one that doesn't work.
