This is mostly a port of a theme titled "purple passions" by roberj13 at droid forums Purple Passion Theme - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum originally for the og droid with some edits here and there by me

while purple/pink isnt my style, there was a desire by some to see a theme like this one the fascinate so i brought it over
*Usual Disclaimer* I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. Best practice is to make a nandroid before flashing anything.
This is a beta release, so there will be more releases coming with bug/error fixes. Please post whatever you find thats wrong/missing in this thread and I will get to work on fixing it (im sure theres a lot )

This theme is for deodexed systems.
I'm using and have tested on JT's Super Clean Rom V0.7. If you are not running his rom or one that uses stock lock screen, puzzle unlock may show still show up for you.
Theme has reboot options built in
Settings and Dialer (wip still) are themed
12/14 updated xml error on 2 versions....report if not fixed
12/13 changed battery icon used for battery percentage, and added a 2nd battery option (round)
12/9 edited secondary system text purple to match theme, fixed dialer a bit, removed e911 location icons from status bar, added a version with battery percentage (all for dj05, not dio1) also had changed system progress bar...forgot to mention that

Looks great, my sister kept bugging me to put more purple on her phone...and you have elevated that annoyance. Looks great too(I am not a purple kinda guy but still looks nice!) Oh and I would love if you could get a battery with percentages. =D Keep up the great work!

Yeah sorry this was the one theme I really did by request and I abandoned it after dj05
Its very difficult for me to work on themes I personally don't like as I have to look at it on my phone

I can't wait till you make this one if you make this one, my wife is wanting a purple theme to the point where I hear that she'll only do a purple theme if they have one. I would do the pink, but that would just put me in the dog house (she hates pink with a passion)

there is the thread you can get it from. i personally use the one that is a towards the end of the thread that doesn't require the -Xmx512M part, but that is just the way i have all of my stuff set up. if you can't get it working, you can pull the services.jar and framework-res.apk/res/layout/status_bar.xml from my theme and it will change every thing except for the text for "clear" in the notification pull down to white.

It's the 2.0 animations.
I was actually making a hero blend theme for the latest Cyanogen mod, but you beat me to it! Maybe you could incorporate the blur animations into it? Anyways, keep up the good work.
quick question. What is the difference between this and the one by pdudek? I was trying it out and didn't see much difference. Not even in the red clock one. I was hoping it would have other red accents, but it still has the orange accents on things. Thanks for puttin' this out there though. About bugs, everything seems fine to me! And I like the fact that it is 2.0 animations. Fast and smooth!

the difference is the clock the launcher and framework i think is very different

yes, it should. And good job on this, pcmaniacs. I'm liking the incorporation of more of the red color. Sorry to be critical, but I was wondering if you could look into making the red highlight a little more red. It kinda looks pink right now. But I mean, that's a little thing! I'm so glad you kept the 2.0 animations though, and all that other good stuff and then went with red. Lovin' it, dude!
Was running 4.2.3.1 without a problem until I loaded this. I don't want to jump to conclusions and think it's all your fault but hoping perhaps you can help diagnose the issue? To summarize, I was viewing a website and hit the home key. This caused acore to FC. Anytime it tried to restart itself, it went right back to a FC. This also occurs while using Google Maps.

I have never had the "Fix filesystems" do anything but this fixed it from what I can tell. I will report back if it starts happening again, but so far, it seems ok.
the acore is that i missed to rename one of the launchers images and when you rotate the phone it fc acore but thats is fixed i fixed fast this is the first time my phone works so good and fast i dont have to wipe or any thing whit other themes i have to wipe all the phone to install

Because when you have a green highlighting colour in other theme like darkstar a very nice theme but if you go example on the dropdowns there is the orange colour and not every is green. I hate this Im a perfectionist

me too im a big fan of enoch, but then i also like SuperD black, so i decided to make one just for me that had different colours i can change between. Having to redo the theme, as i created it at the wrong resolution. Re-making for 320*480 now. Ill post more screenshots in abit
not quite sure how to do the icons, should they look similar to traditional icons and just be the shape of the app or all square?

please take the right icons so that every icon have a quad, and please post the psd of the quad so that the users can make there own icons

If you can share the psd of this i can whip it up for my nexus then have someone port it to g1/mt3g. This looks stupendous, its almost exactly what i had in my head.

Looks great! Can't wait to see it in action. One thing I noticed, even though it's a concept, the icon in the brightness setting on the setting widget is a bit off centered. I just wanted to point it out for you for the future.

Dude, i love the originality of your images and ur use of lines. very nice! do you make a theme then pick the wallpaper, or do you pick a wallpaper and work around it? cuz with cyanoid and this one, it flows pretty well. again, great work!

Thanks, i usually just start by playing around with shapes/colors then the rest just fallows. Wallpaper comes at the end, just a quick browse trough DeviantArt for some awesome walls that will fit the theme. that's usually how my process works.

Will take this into consideration. I think i spend around 4 hours just creating those icons for the notification... not very good with small images/resizing. Thanks for your comment.

-New status bar icons from previous builds of srrn holm, tell me if you don't like them
-Menu icons are all metrostation. tell me if you dont like those, either. I tried my best to get them to fit their purpose, but some are a stretch.

-Grey EB01 version up. Changed colors to orange, modified quick panel. I didn't bite this idea off of anybody but DtatchD. It just took me a lot longer to figure out how to do it (lol)
-5 lockscreen mod, etc.

Looks good as always. I find that a lot of people will use themes and not comment in many cases unless there is an issue or they have suggestions....a lot of the time with certain themes ill do I think no one uses it and then in irc ill get a bunch of pms or requests to re port this or that when I thought there was no interest
so keep doing what you're doing...its really good

Thanks for the heads up. I forgot that I made it over my stock battery minimalist theme.will fix today
And yeah after I get a version of minimalist theme out then dark grey and bezke (gingerbread) versions.

For the record, I was using this for a while and think it's very cool (I only switched because my all time favorite became available again--Black AOSP). Anyway, thanks for keeping it around and up-to-date.

Such as black menus and sub menus...black settings menu...im just not a fan of white on these phones and I think the Blue glow would look better over black than white
EDIT: Looking at the original i9000 thread it has all black menu's etc...it looks good....All the screenshots of yours are white so if I spoke prematurely I apologize as this is a WIP

ok, i will look into that. i will have to tackle .9 edits for that. it had to come at some point. ill see what i can do.

Nice job, Mike. I love dark and blue themes, and this is no exception. Though I will reserve for maybe some more themed stuff, such as the dialer, messaging.apk, etc. The devil is in the details, but I love your start on it, this has MAJOR potential, nice port.

Still reserved for the moment, unless you need a tester, I'd gladly help you with that if needed, but again, I HAVE to say it AGAIN, VERY NICE START.
Obviously gunner is still in the beginning stages, and this looks like it will be great when it is finished. I posted this over at AC where I spend more time, but I wanted to let everyone see what could happen when you mix and match and combine the great talents of the awesome themers. The blue icons in the notification bar for gunner's theme look awesome when combined with Nitro's blue wallpapers from his themes. Just imagine this with blue themed icons in the dock.

Ok one thing so far I see is when the 3g is not running like no data going in or out it just shows 3g d. And it's all gray well its stands out like a red head in china. But I love the battery and pull down menu and the shutdown menu. One thing I ask not to be there is crazy screen animation from screen to screen, I think it just makes them look kiddy or cheep. But so far so good if u need a tester holler at me on here or ac or twitter.
