I recently updated my galaxy s using Kies. I am on h3g network. I have managed to unbrand my phone but after update I had no 3g connection, I trawled through this and many other sites and finally managed to find my APN settings. After all this I found a app called APN back up and restore So I won't be in the same place next time I update, But for those of you who need it I thought I'd I'd post the settings.

Did anyone manage to make it work? I created a new APN and entered the following information but no luck.
APN: pda.bell.ca
MMSC: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 610
APN type: mms
I left everything else blank. Did I do something wrong? Please move the thread if I posted it in the wrong section. Thanks!

MCC - 302
MNC - 610
APN Type - default
APN2
Name - Bell MMS
APN - pda2.bell.ca
MMSC - h**p://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc ** = tt
MMS Proxy - web.wireless.bell.ca
MMC Port - 80
MCC - 302

Hope that works for everyone!
Hi I'm internationally roaming in the states right now on the AT&T network with my N1 2.2 with a Thai (AIS) SIM card in it.
Voice service works but that's all. No Net, no SMS(can not send or receive)
I've searched the web and these forums for the APN settings
I've found:
Name: whatever_you_want_the_name_to_be {AT&T}
APN: wap.cingular
Username: wap (at) cingulargprs.com
Password: cingular1
MMSC: http: (slash slash) mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
I can go to settings and add a new APN and when I put in all the details it will save it up to MCC and MNC.
If I enter the above numbers into either the MCC or MNC field and hit save or hit the back button the Complete APN and all the settings I just entered disappear from my APN list?
HELP!
Why is it disappearing?
Why can i not send SMS?
At least I would like to be able to send and receive SMS if I can't get data roaming to work.
The password must be in all caps. CINGULAR1 that will fix you up.
Hi, I recently flashed my phone to jm5, coming from the orange jf3. The only thing I haven't been able to get working properly is mobile net. I can browse on games but 3g is a no go. I also seen to have trouble receiving mms. Could someone kind soul, who is on stock orange firmware post the settings as they appear on their phone?
Note: I have browsed the net for settings and entered them correctly but to no joy.

it was able to send/recieve MMS messanges even when mobile data is disabled before 14.1.G.2.257 (Android 4.2).
But it came to be unable to send/recieve any MMS messaages on this APN settings after 14.2.A.0.290 (Android 4.3), when mobile data is disabled.
It is also strange that MMS can be sent/recieved when Wi-Fi is enabled and mobile data is disabled on EXAMPLE A apn settings on 14.2.A.0.290 or later.
It APN setting is like EXAMPLE B, we can say "MMS is unavailable without mobile data enabled" so easily. But I was at least able to use MMS without mobild data enabled until 14.1.G.2.257 (Android 4.2).
What kind of change happened between Android 4.2 and 4.3?
I would like to know your case. Thank you for your answer in advance.
This issue is also deeply related to my Mms.apk and this thread.
Are there any one who are facing same issue?
