What app can I use to put all my apps on my sd card? Everything I download from the market goes on my phone and I have all this space on my on board sd card. It seems like there should be a way to default my applications to download straight to the sd card. Please donate all the nuggets of wisdom you guys can.

Call me stupid but I can't find it. Do I have to download it to my computer from the web first and then to my phone? The app isn't in the Market Place.

Has anyone sorted out how to disassociate the free apps from amazon from the amazon app? Id like to keep the apks but not the Amazon store... any ideas? Delete me if not cool Mr. Mod.
Cheers.
Don't know how to do that, but wondering why you use Amazon? They don't have anything you can't find in the Market, do they?

for the daily free app which is normally a pay app.

I also would like to know if its possible. I just download the free app to have it lol.

I had it installed and it sucked my battery down fast, deleted it and lost all the free apps I downloaded.

I used it to get Angry Birds Rio. Had to give them credit card info to get a free app, lol. Of course, 2 days later it was in the Market. Wonder if I download from the Market if the game results will be overwritten. Oops. Sorry for the thread jack.

if you backup the amazon rio app with tibu, then uninstall it and install google's rio, you can restore the app data which will load your progress from the first game to the second
Awesome. Thanks. I'm going to close that Amazon account.

So youre saying if I use tibu and dl the free version of an app when I restore app and data it will be the paid app in place of free app and the app will be disassociated with amazon?
I haven't tried it yet, but sounds like you can backup your free Amazon apps with Tibu, uninstall free Amazon apps, get rid of Amazon app store, download replacement apps from Market, restore app data from Tibu. Not sure if this would work with Amazon paid apps.

It told me I needed amazom app store to use that app lol

The Amazon store puts the apk file on the phone. If you go into my files and go to Android/com.amazon**/cache you will see a strung of apks that you have downloaded and installed... you don't need the amazon store to keep the apps in stalled anyway...
The files in the amazon folder are oddly named like vapdn738840.apk but you can rename them on your computer once you figure out what they are. And if you looking for a place for free apps I would check out applanet or blackmart
Good Luck
PM me & let me know how it goes

My d3 is randomly deleting app on its own. First it deleted xda and androirc, then the market update(lost new market, went back to old that shipped with phone) was deleted, third was droid forums app. Happened before and after rooting. 3 separate occasions. Any ideas?

As crazy as it seems I've had my XDA premium app disappear on me 3 times already as well.
Just now it deleted my google account. Went to call someone and none of my contacts are there.

Try moving all of your apps from Media Area to Phone in Manage Apps. The Droid 3 seems to not like apps being stored on the internal sd card.

I actually haven't moved any to the sd card. Good suggestion though. I didn't think of that. I welcome any more ideas.

It's not causing any problems, just curious why it is reporting that. Included an image as well.
Thanks

No you dont have apps installed on your sdcard (that is the internal emulated sdcard) that is showing you the apps that "CAN" be moved to sdcard. to move them place a check mark in the box next to the app.
Ah that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification

I have looked a lot of forums and YouTube videos but still know actually good way to move all my apps to SD card , I have cm11 4.4.3 and my storage is soon going to run out on my internal storage. I know is a frequent question about moving apps to SD but I really can not find a good way that works yet . Thank you

That's exactly why I recommend GL to SD. It's the only program that doesn't require you to partition your external sd card in any way.
You can also try FolderMount, but if you wanna have more than 2 binds, you have to buy it. Whereas GL to SD is free and fully functional. Paid version just removes the adds, which for me is almost nothing

Yes. Now I see that you've got other stuff there as well other than games. Tap the button in the right top corner and select "move data" option. Now you should see all of the programs, which are movable to the external sd card. Just select the ones you want to move and hit "Move".
If there are apps on the list from the picture you posted, which you don't want to be there just tap and hold the app's name and select "Remove" option. Your app is still on your phone, but it won't show up in GL to SD and confuse you if it's on the internal or the external memory.
REMEMBER to always launch moved apps from GL to SD app or they'll just want to download their data again if they are launched the normal way!
Does that mean then the all is on the SD card or not then I don't won't to open that app up every time just to go on my other apps if you know what I mean

If you want to open the apps on the sd card you need to open them via gl to sd. When you want to open an app on your phone memory you open it from the app drawer.
