Anyone tried this out yet? It would be an excellent addition to the NC, as its made for the screen size and resolution. I'm assuming it only works with Samsungs Touchwiz framework though.
It didn't work for me. It wouldn't install.
is there any other email app that i could use that will automatically add an email address from my contacts?
gmail app doesn't do it, neither does [email protected] app, i don't have my contacts in yahoo...
I got it to install, however, it crashes once it tries to sync incoming settings. Not quite sure why.

Well, I've got gmail (with two accounts, even) and the market set up with the instructions at http://nookdevs.com/Enable_the_Android_Market. And I've even installed both the Calendar and CorpCalendar using the APKs in a copy of update-cm-5.0.8-Droid-signed.zip (found, among other places, here: http://thekilpatrickproject.com/downloads/koush/motorola/sholes/)
But when I push over Contacts.apk and ContactsProvider.apk, nothing noticeable happens. I've still got the Nook contacts app.
Anybody had any luck with this? I'd really like not only to have the stock Android Contacts, but also to be able to sync them w/google AND have the autocomplete working in gmail ...
EDIT: i tried setting it up manually and finally succeeded. So its definitely the auto setup that crashes the app.
Would still be nice if someone dutch tries to setup automatically with his/her live.nl email.
Hi guys,
I'm having trouble with the galaxy s email app.
Everytime i fill in my email and password, it crashes. I have an emailadress that ends with @live.nl
I tried my gmail and also an old hotmail.com email and they both work fine.
So problem is linked to live.nl
Installed galaxy tab email app and also reinstalled stock app. Still same problem.
I think the autosearch settings for live.nl makes it crash.
Any dutch here who can check if they can use live.nl?
Anyone maybe have a solution? Dont really want a different emailapp.

Hi there,
I read through a couple of threads and found that some people have the same issues with the stock calendar app as me. I mean the one that comes from Samsung and can be found in stock rom and in overcome. I bought the tab for my business.
Unfortunately, the samsung calendar app is pure garbage to say it friendly. Not all calendars show up, they all have the same color and if you add an appointment in your tab, edit it in google calendar on your PC you mysteriously end up with 2 appointments on your tab.
Yesterday, I switched to CM7 to check out how the calendar works in that mod. If CM7 by technomancer wouldn't be still in beta I'd stay on it for obvious reasons. The calendar works perfect and like a charm. All gmail calendars show up, even the ones from my wife. They all have the colors I selected in gmail calendars on my pc. The syncing works perfect.
I was wondering if someone could port that app into the Overcome Rom, because I have no clue how to do that?
Google should do quality assurance to make sure their functions work right.
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I use pure calendar widget and it gets the entries from the calendar app. Calengoo, is okay but the widgets suck.
I am willing to donate some money for a working port
Well I tried a little bit around and got some things working. I took a calendar and googlecalendarsyncadapter.apk from a 2.3.3 aosp rom and copied it into system/app fixed permissions and did a reboot.
Guess what the calendar is working. You'll get all different colors and the sync works totally right. Unfortunately there's only one problem. The calendar will crash when you select what calendars to sync...you have enough time to select them but then it crashes. I think this has something to do with the emailprovider.apk from samsung. I changed it to an aosp version but then the calendar crashes all the time.
There have to be done some changes on the emailprovider.apk to get it all going but I have no clue what it could be. It seems there is a limitation on how many calendars can be synced.
I just got a Note 3. First I am having trouble with getting my email to send. I also have a S3. As I look at the email outgoing account setting they seem to be identical. I have a goofy internet provider that needs to see a out.epix.net. Just can't figure whats up. Incoming is just fine. Is there a way to have the email automatically sync only when you open the app. Right now need to hit the sync button. Thanks.
So I just got the phone today, I'm a little underwhelmed with the looks and the camera quality. But aside from that, I'm having a larger issue. I tried adding my work account to the phone using Exchange ActiveSync, however, I have numerous issues:
1. The calendar sync option does not appear;
2. The contact sync option does not appear;
3. The sent email does not sync (I can only see emails that I've sent on the phone);
4. The push email does not work - i.e. when someone sends me an email, it will immediately pop up on my laptop, desktop, and HTC One Mini ... but I have to manually refresh the Sony in order for it to show??
I have deleted cache and data from calendar, contacts, set up the ActiveSync account again to no avail. It just doesn't want to work on this phone. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is a HUGE problem for me. Thanks

mmmm that doesn't help resolve the reason why it's not working properly. I appreciate your suggestion, but I shouldn't have to download a third party app to make something that should work natively. But I'll have a look at "Nine" regardless.
Ok ... then curious question ... what is the best app for POP3 and ActiveSync? I do like the interface and features of Nine, but I'd like it if there was one program that could handle both POP3 and ActiveSync.
