I all of a sudden seems to be experiancing low signal levels. I am using kaiser_shifu_v4.2_WWE rom with radio 1.65.17.54.
My wife has a phone on the same network and doesn't experiance any problems. Is there a specific radio that could improve this?

I think the problem is not on the radio or from the radio version ...! Have you tried using [LeSScro] Network Wizard 2009 ..?
Yes tried that and no differance.

One way that you can check out if it is a radio problem from the rom 1) Is the option already mentioned...try different radio combinations 2) Flash your stock rom and if the problem persists it's more a phone problem.

I didn't know there was one. Question to the experts: is there a risk in trying this ?
We can still just downgrade if it does not work?

This could be the next revolution in wizard technology...?
We could always hope
I read some reports that some form of radio rom that came with wm6 actually screwed up the radio part, and making impossible to restore. Don't know if this was the one or even if this was on a wizard... I don't even know if it's possible. But I haven't tried it out for that very reason...
Just a little heads up

I think there must be discussions on Chinese forums about the included radio - no Chinese guy around here who can research a bit??
Well... went ahead and flashed it... turns out it doesn't work... somehow screws up the boot logo screen and os both... had to flash a stock rom to get everything back to normal...
So I guess that's it...
oh, i am glad you didn't totally brick your wizard! thanks a lot for being so brave! so the 2.19 still seems to be the best radio...

Agreed there. Been using 2.47 for several months now and have yet to see any issues. I get strong service where my Sprint phone just dies. That could also be the fantastic Cingular coverage though

I recently updated my software to the Open Touch 2.6 biggie. and now my service drops once in a while. REALLY annoying. Is there a new radio rom that is working well in the U.S.? I have the STOCK radio rom now.
OH and YAY to our own Wing forum!!!!
If you run the HardSPL, it will install the newest radio rom on your wing. I've noticed a significant difference with my Wing.
I'm sure someone on here can figure out a way to install the radio rom independently.

Please post all future issues with my rom in the correct thread/original thread.
This will help me cut down wasted time trying to figure out what issues people are having.
Also,
The raido on the v2.6 biggy is 03.07.90, what version did you have on your phone before you flashed my rom?
Thanks,

Aw,
I forgot about that, thanks for reminding me. I will double check the rom it self but I think it might be better to let people update it themselves.
Second thought, I will include it in the next update.

The updated version 2.7 has the new radio included.
The last release did not include the raido in the rom so I'm not sure how it changed your radio for your device.

If your radio rom wasnt changed, theres no way that your service is any different than it was before you flashed Open Touch.

To help make things simple,
Just upgrade to v2.7 and choose the one with the new radio included.

I'd like to update my IncS to the latest Radio, but am a bit leery of doing so without being able to check the md5, which isn't posted for the latest in the official radio thread in the dev forum.
Can anyone post and confirm the correct MD5 for 20.2811.30.085AU_3805.09.03.27_M?
I am currently using this radio on my Inc S and have had no issues with it.
The MD5 checksum on the copy I have (according to WinMD5Free) is 9390ece690723402f272737f8e3aeaec
Did you need to do any editing of the radio to have it flash correctly? I have a bell IncS myself...
can anyone care to explain what radio is?

I always use the command line option to push the radio file to my device. Check this thread for instructions but make sure you are pushing a Gingerbread radio if you have a GB ROM.
I would suggest also reading the thread to get a good understanding of the whole process.

Its your baseband. I wouldn't bother changing it unless you are having problems with your signal as it can brick your phone.

it controls everything to do with your wireless signal...
Wifi, data transfer speeds. signal strength, gps, etc.
Changing it can be extremely important if you are having signal issues or severe battery drain.

i know that many people give this warning when it comes to flashing radios, but, in reality, it's difficult to brick your phone while flashing a new radio.
unless you are doing something really dumb by pulling the battery during the flash
Hey Guys
Actually my phone was hit last week and after that,my wifi signal is very weak, when I turn on the WiFi it just show me the nearest access point(1 meters)
and I must be near to access point till it show me and connect to the name access point on the list.
where is the exact position of wifi in the incredible S' board please?
if it's damaged, so why I can connect to near access point ?
Is there any application to test it?
My OS is Android ICS 4.0.4

thnx for your reply,
No, the routers are OK, because I tested them via Xperia Mini,HTC HD2 and Xperia X1 and they get signals very well,
also I changed the ROM but it's not fix yet,
so your suggestion is better to change the radio too, huh ?
OK I'll do it, thnx

thnx a lot , so it's not related to radio version ? currently my radio is " RADIO-3831.18.00.11_M "
is that the latest version ?
It's not the latest but it is a fairly recent radio.
3831.18.00.28_M is AFAIK the latest radio.

Personally I don't think so. Have you double checked to ensure your back cover isn't loose? Trying a new radio be worthwhile if for no other reason than I have found the new radios give better battery life.
Here is a link to the latest radio

Which is the best firmware I can use?
How can I know it will fit my device?
Will it delete everything?
Thanks!

Hi there!
1. If you have 3G connection issues try having a look if you can find a 'radio' that may improve your connectivity. Although it shouldn't matter too much.
2. By 'fit' do you mean work with your device? It should. Try out a different rom if you'd please.
3. It will delete all user data. e.g. Apps, games, locally saved contacts. etc.

I tried like 3 latest radios (2 of 4.4 and one of the latest T-mobile)
all gave me same result on speed tests (really slow one)..
Could it be a ROM problem? could it be that ARHD 5.1 (GE) doesn't work well on original T-Mobile HTC One?
What should I do?
If you are S-off u can flash any firmware package. That includes unsigned ones
If you are S-on you are only limited to specific ones marched to your model Id and Cid.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823
This will tell you which.

I tired already like 5 different radios all gives the same result so I guess it's a problem in the firmware..

I'll try:
re-install ARHD 5.1 (clean install) --> if in few days 5.2 won't come out and everything will stay the same I'll try ARHD 40.3.
