Huh? I didn't think you could "delete" an icon from the app drawer. Are you using some kind of Home replacement application?
are you using aluncher ?

we can't , he has to be using the aluncher !!!!!!
I'm guessing that you've got advanced launcher
i haven't got it in front of me at the moment as I'm running stock Cyan 4.2.5, so i can't remeber the exact labels, but go to menu > extended and you should be able to resore the drawer icons from there.

I was wondering if there is anything I can do to set adw launcher to use the dockbar by default?

In the latest version of adw you can choose to have no Main Dock (adw settings>UI Settings>Main Dock Style). If you do this you have a completely clean screen and can choose to use a swipe action, such as swipe up, to bring of the scrollable dock bar. This is what i'm doing when i use adw and just bind the app drawer to my home button.
I'm using ADW, but i have no option for a scrollable dockbar? I know how to hide it and all of that, but no option to add more than five shortcuts down there..

That's the main dock. There is a hidden scrollable dock. You enable it through the settings and pick a means of making it appear (button press our swipe gesture.

Adw and CM 6.1 RC2 dock help!

OK so I just updated to the new cm release canadate and I love it!
Only problem is that when you delete things from the home screens you now bring it to the top of the screen instead of the bottom to delete it. Well I was re-doing my home screen and accidentally dropped my messaging app in the place were the adw launcher should go (dock at bottom of screen). So now I can't get into my apparently drawer
How do I put adw back onto my dock?
Also is there a way to lock them in place?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Removing the "Applications" Icon

Hello.
Let me start by asking a question on whether it is possible to remove the "Applications" icon on the main screen.
The reason i want to remove is because of this program.
Faster Drawer (seems i cannot post links, so do search it on the android market)
Basically another app drawer program, but presents the layout "contact style".
Depending on preferences, but i like the layout of the icons better than the stock.
Has there been any attempts to remove the icon or such?
You know inside of the stock app drawer you can choose to view them as a list... "contact style". Just hit menu while in your app drawer. And this should be under Q&A.

Never mind. I can simply usee an alternate launcher to remove the home button.
consider this question closed.

[Q] Launcher (dock) Bar - How to remove items?

You'd think you'd just long press and drag away, but you'd be wrong. I can pull the icon out, but immediately another icon is re-created in it's place. Been annoying me all night - I made a folder, added in some Google apps, can't pull one of them out now.
Ideas?
Try removing icons from the dock via app drawer ^_^

Aha! Thank you very much, but please note - I had my App Drawer set to Alphabetical - and it would not let me remove them from the launcher bar.
Once I set that to custom, I could then remove them.
Thanks!

You don't need app drawer, press the button in the middle to see all installed applications, now with your finger press and drag application from Launcher bar to the other applications and you have one empty space now, drag down now one other application and that's it.
