Question about ROM upgrade

Hi everyone,
congratulations on the good work with this forum!
I have recentrly upgrade to one of the ROMs that pug offers (Alpine_Ext-1.11.162_Radio-1.04_O2stuffstripped_Camera_Fixed.rar) and I am very happy with it.
I was wondering though...is there any similar ROM that doens't include any unnecessary software? For example, I don't use the clearvue viewer and I would like to get rid of it.
Is there any ROM with all the functionality (bluetooth, wifi, etc) but without the extra software?
I tried using the er2003edit program but it keeps asking for a password when I open a ROM file

Official wm6.1 upgrade, still need of wm6voip?

Hi,
i recently upgraded from wm6.0 pro official HTC Rom to Wm6.1 official one,
i would like to know, as i am reinstalling all my softs(to start up from a fresh install), if i still need wm6voip.cab AND/OR sip configtools before using
my voip utilities(gosip, sijphone etc)

too many time am looking 4 it, yet i dont see or heared about eb support for 6.5 (its a beta)

After installation the HERMES won't boot... I Had to HARD RESET.

I use p535 and ran a 6.5 rom on it (one of the many cooked). Leng got it stuck. If it works with your device please advertise.

I've tried eyron and some other free stuff I've found and none of them works...
Did anyone at least managed to manually install some hebrew fonts on wM6.5?
At least to be able to view it correctly..
It's weird, I've installed some WM6.1 Chinese on my machine (Kaiser) and it had no problems working with the 6.5
Why is hebrew so special? :S

I install Que Rom from here version +QueROM_B4_V1_MS3_23008_For_Hermes
and than I installed 2 files for hebrew:
first: Resco.Keyboard.PRO.v5.21
second: Hebrew.CAB
and it's worked!
I can read and write hebrew!

I have tried this one on energy rom (6.5) and it is working (but you will have only Hebrew fonts not keybord)

someone got hebrew rom or just eyron pdac something for wm 6.5 my xperia got hebrew fonts but not enough.....

מצאתי, וזה עובד פצצה.
I found a solution, and it works great. like a blast to the gabot.
I Installed the Hebrew support only, without changing the interface.
Now, all the gui is still in english, But I am able to read and write in hebrew.

Can you tell me which file do I need to install, i tried some Hebrew file support but it kils my SMS alert it is make me crazy and the Opra browser is not working!!

I think it is should work on windows mobile 6.5, on any device..

[SOLVED] USBToPCPopUp - IntShr.exe missing ???

Hi friends,
Among others I cooked in Topaz USBToPCPopUp OEM package (from 1.39 Topaz ship rom) into my new cooked ROM based on BS 1.56 base and 21042 SYS.
My problem is the well known bug when connecting the phone to USB and selecting Internet Sharing in the pop-up dialog. It is complaining about IntShr.exe not being found. I am wondering why is this happening, since the exe for the internet sharing application should be IntShrUI.exe and not IntShr.exe. This IntShr.exe does not exist in neither of my packages (OEM, SYS or even XIP) and there's no mentioning of this file in the rgu's besides the one for assigning HTC custom icons. Seems like a bug even in the Topaz original ROM ? Any solution to this (besides replacing this package with the older BS one) ?

I am using the ervius kitchen posted here (it's for wm6.5) and imported topaz apps, it seems to work ok in that. I know it doesn't help you much but just saying

OK, found solution after looking at "HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe" disassembly
The HKLM\SOFTWARE\WIDCOMM registry key has to be deleted (BS doesn't use Widcomm drivers anyway), then it will work like a charm.

Blackberry Connect...

Hi guys,
I am just wondering if anyone could cook a rom Blacekberry Connect would work on it...the only ROM that i found which would work with Blackberry Connect is WM6.5 Pure upgrade (by gtrab)...
any help would be appreciated... Thank you in advance...

BBConnect is working on standard R3A (no edits req).
You can also get it to work on R1A and R2A, by hex editing the OS file.
Have a look in Dev & Hacking in the General section of the forum for details.
Any ROM based on R1A and R2A will need hex editing, any ROM based on R3A should work just fine.

what's blackberry connect for? do we get the pin? if its just the push why not using seven?
