Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows the general size I would have to resize HDPI 9pngs to look correct on 140 dpi? I know for 160 MDPI it is approx 66%?

Hi! Searched many posts without result....so, what i have to do to resize my framework.apk png's since i changed my screen dpi to 200? what must be the horizontal inches or centimeters to fully cover horizontaly my screen? Example: Jog_dial_bg.png appears only at 2/3 of the screen (480 * 216)...Better: Anyone knows what are the inches in our screen at 200 dpi?
Thanks for the annoyence...
I keep reading about 240 dpi or 320 dpi... whats up with that? and how do I check it/ change it?
It means Pixel Density of your screen.. Dots per inch
The lower it gets from your standard screen DPI value, the smaller the icons and things become in the UI..
Its like increasing the resolution of the screen like you do in your PC/Laptop Monitor Display..
320 is mostly the HD displays 1280x720
240 is i guess for a qhd res 540x960
and as far as I knw 160 is the DPI most tablets has..
You can alter it by an app like LCD denity changer/modder..
Hope It Helped, Hit thanks if it did
Is it possible to change the Dpi on the new HTC ONE ?
i like it when its little bit smaller than 320Dpi ( 280 is Perfect)
Please Help me
Can any body please help me figure out a solution for this
I changed the dpi in buld.prop from 480 to 420 in miui 8 but still the lock screen dpi remains the same there is no change to anything the 420 dpi in our devices really look a lot cooler and gives more content on the screen
Does dpi change to smaller value distort the icons?
Try it and write us a feedback.
Im currently using 420 and its not distorted
It seems 380 is the limit.
