Hey, I was wondering whether it is possible to hide the time on the notification bar, specifically on MCR24 Froyo. I searched and came across small pieces of information but nothing concrete. I hear CM6 has this option so it may be possible but I've no idea where to start in porting it.
Thanks!
Just use CM.

I use CyanogenMod 6 Nightly N1, and it is an option:
Menu button>Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>User interface>Status Bar>Show Clock (uncheck to not show clock)

Thanks but ever since CM6 I've had constant reboots. No idea why but unfortunately CM6 isn't an option at the moment
I'm gonna keep digging and will update this thread if I come across anything.

May be you could try wiping the cache and the Dalvik cache before flashing CM6 if you are coming from an earlier version of CM or else do a complete wipe with coming from a different ROM altogether. That should take care of the reboot issue

Hey, Just wondering is there a flashable Droid X locscreen floating around that's compatible with our Eris? Hope I didn't overlook anything & while I was searching because it seems to be impossible to find. Please help if you have any leads on this or if there just absolutely isn't one. I'd appreciate it.

I thought the DX lockscreen is just like the N1? Which we have if you remove the lockscreen apk if using a sense based ROM.

Naw, not quite. It's a tad bit more themed.

2 ways to do this. Either have someone send you their framework.apk from the DX and take the pngs from there or make them in PS. Both can be applied via MetaMorph.
Man, I'm pretty nubeish (if that's a word) & don't think i'll be successful in doing that so i'll either just wait until it's ported or just play around with your method & get lucky. Thanks.

I have cm6 and until recently, everytime I download a theme and apply it the dock bar always changes to the new theme except for the drawer button. It stays like the default one. Does anyone know how to fix this? Ill post a screen in a sec

Its been this way since adw released an update not too long ago. Im not sure if its that older themes arent fully compatible with the update or if thats just the way its going to be now. Im guessing its a compatibility issue that has to be resolved by the theme developers though.
Thanks for your reply I was dying to find our the cause of it.

yea it had my wife pretty ticked off when it happened. She thinks the stock drawer icon is ugly. LauncherPro is a great alternative though, especially if you get the "plus" version. Thats my launcher of choice.
I just noticed when I updated to 6.1 stable that this problem seems to have gone away. I've only done a little testing but it seems to show up every time now.

REASON - Alright, so I'm switching to Sprint because AT&T sucks...so I'm getting an Evo 3D. I'm not off contract so I have to pay in order to cancel it. In order to do that? I sold my Captivate. It was fun while it lasted. If anyone wants to take this and do something with it, be my guest.
---Some things to understand---
1. I'm new at this and I apologize beforehand.
2. Please post any suggestions/things I've screwed up.
3. If you flash this, you have released me from responsibility over what may or may not happen to your phone.
4. If you want stock, simply flash the latest update [many have stated that's the easiest and most efficient way].

I've put some up, but again, it has no status bar :/
For the brief time I got to see it, the signal bars and battery meter [percentage, at least] looked a-ok.

Hi all guys,
as you surely know the stock sliders lockscreen of CM7 is pretty the same of the photo below. I remember a HoneycombWannabeLocksreen which currently doesn't work anymore since nightly #35

My question is, how to modify it? Are there any metamorph or theme that can customize the sliders?
Currently I'm using a density of 170 that seems totally incompatible with rotary and lense CM7 lockscreen
I don't want to use widgetlocker cause on my Desire (aka bravo) I'm experiencing serious lag once pressing the unlock on the phone.
THX everyone for answering
Are you reffering to my wannabe lockscreen?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959602
Im still using this to this day with the new nightlies and metamorph still works just fine for me. If not You can always pull your framework, edit the images you wish to your liking and then push back.

holy! Last time I used it it messed up all the rom and I left the idea. After a month and more (this evening) I looked at your thread and i saw that last edit was on march and thought nothing was changed. THX
But, are there in the enormous XDA database other mod like yours, maybe with other styles?

Im sure there are, mine has died down now but I still it use it. You can always get a morph of a mod you like and edit the images by switching them to something to your liking as well if you prefer to use morph.

Try it out, and tell me things that will make me better. If you think it is good than please rate it, and leaving a comment saying so on the market. If you think it sucks, than please send me an e-mail or PM about why you think so. Thanks!
Tried it. Couldn't get it to do anything though. When I press it it doesn't tell me anything. Other than that, unless its just me, I would suggest making it into a widget. If it were a clock widget that you could press to hear the time (for those sunny days where its hard to see the screen) then it would actually be a pretty handy app for this and other phones with smaller low resolution screens.
