Are there any movie fans out there? How many are going to see The Watchmen. It looks awesome, and Im not much into the super hero movies.

did you know that totall recall scanner darkly bladerunner were all written by the same man a long time ago aswell ill try and find when they were written but im sure minority report was 1957
ok here i go blade runner was called do androids dream of el;ectric sheep it was written in 1968 and it wasnt made into a film until 1982

He was exposed to radiation in some way that changed his "composition" He can be as large or small as he chooses, can be material or not. He became almost like a god, but one who doesn't actually give a crap about creation. This is not your regular superhero story. The good guys aren't always good and the bad guys aren't always bad. I just hope the filmmakers don't mess too much with the story.

The closest IMAX theatre to me is about 2 hours away...It sucks.

Guys read this graphic novel. It is phenomenal. I can't wait for this movie. I just hope it is half as good as the comic.

Because there is no room for comedians anymore unless they are profane, loud, or obnoxious. Unless its Steve Carell or Will Ferrell.

I can't believe some people have listed action films and not listed my two "naughty favourites":
Luc Besson's Taxi, and Roadhouse.
Watching Taxi is great, watching it while thinking "how did they film that?" is even more amazing. Roadhouse, well who hasn't wanted to be either of the coolers in it?!?
As for Watchmen, will definitely be dragging the wife to it!

I was lucky enough to winb tickets to the sneak peek. This is not my kind of movie but i went last night and loved it. One of the best movies i have ever seen. I will be reading the graphic novel.

I'll probably see this movie when it comes out as well. Anyhow, as for now, I think Taken is a must. Saw it yesterday on my Tilt and it's one of the best movies i've seen of late.

Not only is this beautiful and elegant -- but the reason I am QUOTING is because I *did* go visit your page to read about your thoughts as well as see the comments written THERE too.

To really appreciate what the commenter is saying here, you have to know this is Bugsy Malone he is referring to -- a gangster in the USA, who saw an empty place in the desert land in Nevada (a state in the USA not too far from California) and envisioned on this empty barren land, with no highways around, no cities around, no nothing -- he envisioned a city in the middle of this desert -- which would be a place where military people and others could come to get inexpensive enterainment....
Everyone thought he was NUTS! Who the hell wants to come to this sh*thole in the desert, Bugsy? he said "you'll see after I've built my first casino here"... and he drew up plans with architects for "The Flamingo" -- an iconic marker now for the original LAS VEGAS, the city, the gambling, the culture, the entire state of mind that he created --- casting his gaze out across the barren landscape of the desert.
The photo above is from when the Flamingo first opened... proving all the doubters wrong.
And now, just for further context... A reminder that once things are indeed built, bigger is not always better, iPadius Jobius.

I was always dying when I first played it. It gets easier the longer you play it, however, it was more fun when my character was still weak. Killing enemies with one hit made the game tiring to play.

it's been a long while since any decent game has come to market... say FallOut series was revived to now
BioWare is doing an awesome job at with Dragon Age series and Mass Effect
both of these tittles are a must have, it's like watching a movie, but you are the main character
the outcome of the movie will all depend on the choices you make during the course of the movie/game
it can also be open ended, like the old also excellent X series (X, X2, X3)
other than those 4 above mentioned games, there aren't many good games to look forward to
I do also follow the Blizzard games, but they take like 10 years in between releases, crazy wait time
from Blizzard i like the StarCraft and Diablo series, but those are more just for fun, than Immersion play like the BioWare games
a day goes by so quickly you don't even notice when you are zoomed into the worlds of Dragon Age / Mass Effect
I highly suggest playing those 2 with 3D glasses if you have an Nvidia or ATI 3D capable video card and 3D monitor to match

Its more about that on pc you need use keyboard and most to control character and for me its easier to use an controller like the Xbox360 has.
But an game like CoD uses much less buttons on the keyboard, with the W button I just walk and with A and D to left and right and S I won't use much.
And in multiplayer I use an cheat to help me locating the enemy ( Yes I know its not nice to cheat, but it makes the game more fun for me and it gets not detected. ) and that way I make more kills and win more games.

I agree it's an excellent game.

Great game if you enjoy Beth games.
You didn't give enough info, so yes... great game, get it.
If you don't want to risk the $ on a new rpg game from a company you haven't had any experience with, try hitting the bargin bin and pickup Oblivion (predecessor to Skyrim) or Fallout 3. That will let you know if you can handle the "engine" and type of bugs/issues you may encounter...

Skyrim is by far the best game Bethesda has created IMHO. The leveling system is excellent. Much more to do than in the other elder scrolls games. The game is excellent. I would get it if I were you.

Byte Code Canada is really me, just a 16 year old from Toronto, Ontario. I will tell you what I learned to make this game.
Well, this is a list of the books I read:
C# 4.0 - The Complete Reference - 1000 pages 1st one, I have experiences in other languages, if you do go ahead and get this one.
O'Rielly XNA 4.0 - 500 pages I just read the 2D Sections and WP7 Section.
Professional Windows Phone 7 Game Development - 500 pages I read a little, learned how to structure everything. I decided to make my own Game Structure(The Foundation, would be another way to call it).
For Silverlight, I didn't really do much on it, but it's where I started from. I made a Black Jack game, while learning C#.

That link is a great tutorial series on the basics of Silverlight. I am sure that there are books about it.
If you are starting to learn C# without any programming experience: Beginning Visual C# 2010, 1st Edition - Is a great beginner book.
Also, just learning the language is not even 10% of the programming. I recommend getting an Algorithm Book such as: How to Think About Algorithms - A great book, just starting it, has lots of nice math and such. But Algorithms are for after you know C#.
Also, never give up Programming is the future.
I recommend downloading the PDFs, and if you really like the book, just buy it. That's what I do when I finish a good programming book

On a related note, I've been trying to program games like this myself for ages and got very close to getting one going with Game Maker 7.0 but never had the vision to keep going... your game is made from the ground up and thus far superior to anything I could come up with.. keep at it, and you'll probably make something of yourself soon.

Hi,
There are only hints in the beggining of the game. I´m afraid there are no walkthroughts yet, the game has just been launched. I guess in a couple of days you will be able to find one on some webs.
btw, the game has just been aproved now in the appStore

It´s incomplete yet, but they are suposed to be working on it.
You can find community help in The Great Fusion facebook page, ask there and there is people always answering
Btw, what do you think about the game? Did you find many english grammar mistakes? I have had some reports about odd word used in the english translation. Please report if you see a mistake and it will be solved in the next update.

I was like adventure games such as Indiana johns, Monkey Island, Day of the tentacle by Lucas Arts.

You have to take the underground, but you will need a underground ticket first, you will find it in Max room, inside the bin
