[Req] Boot screen - Desire HD Themes and Apps

Hi
Have a t-mobile branded desire hd. Replaced the rom with a generic non branded rom, but still have the t-mobile splash boot screen. Can anyone provide a standard HTC bootscreen and instructions on how to install.
Thanks.

See splash screen section in themes/apps forum. To change boot screen on stock rom put boot animation zip file on root of sd and in terminal emulator run the folliwing code:
cp sdcard/bootanimation.zip /system/customize/resource/

1. wrong section
2. reflash rom
Thanks for reply..
Is that any other way except flashing rom??
An alternative could be flashing a recent kernel from speedmod and use a custom boot animation.

[Q] flashing boot screen alt? ????

Watsup to everyone i just had a question is there a way to flash a diferent boot screen besides using adb or enrevoked. I came from a moment rooted ofcourse but all I can find is those two methods. I'm alsoasking beacause I no longer have my PC. If possible how would I dothis without a PC? THANX
Download the boot animation you want, make sure it's named bootanimation.zip, and move it via root explorer or another file manager of your choice to system/media. It should over write the current bootanimation.zip. Then just reboot.
If it's a flashable zip, then just flash via recovery like a rom or theme.

You can only modify the splash screen if you have an unlocked bootloader. You can achieve this via regaw's s-off unrevoked forever method (my favorite), you can also use the eng-spl fastboot posted by darchstar (I think). If and after you do that, then there is a guide on how to create you own splash, and a thread with already created ones. Good luck and enjoy.

I would recommend running the proper RUU from here, which should reset your phone to it's original config. From there, if you want to root again, follow the same steps, just use an unsecure boot image for your phone. You could download a zip of your stock, extract it, and flash it manually. Hope this helps.

Where can I find zip of my stock recovery? And unsecure boot image for my phone there isnt any yet I think...
If there isn't one there isn't one, don't try flashing a file for another phone as you'll end up with a brick!

Any Way To Get Back Original Moto G5S Plus Boot Animation After Flashing A ROM

Hi Guys,
Is there any way to put back the original Motorola / Lenovo bootup animation after flashing a custom ROM? I liked the original boot animation but prefer using a custom ROM on my phone. Is this possible?

As long as your rooted grab any bootanimation.zip file and place it in system/media. Delete the one that is currently there or rename it to .bak instead of .zip. Change the permissions to rw/r/r then reboot. Profit.

I tried this. It didn't work. It just skips the boot animation all-together.

Can someone please upload the original Moto boot animation on a format that can be simply flashed in TWRP? Thanks.
Moto uses a video MP4 file for bootanimation, traditional custom roms uses a sets of images played in a specific frame rate.
