Long press any icon in your Launcher Pro dock, select "Change Icon" > "Custom Icon". Navigate to wherever you saved the icons to and select it.

Thanks, (and yes I tapped the thanks button) and credited you for it in the homescreen topic....they look awesome, I hope you will complete the set with the most common apps

hope u dont mind.. I modded your icons to be grey and black. here is the set for those interested. all I did was change the color..
the sample below is just to show the color change..
thanks again for this great icon pack..

thx for this

Here's some more that I made/edited. You can add them to the OP if you want.

just an fyi for some people, with the newest ADW you can also use custom icons like the same way you do with Launcher Pro

Awesome work!

Sweet!! Great job!

One minor thing, the SMS icon could use a bolder green, its kinda hard to notice.

could you please make some for the music and video player.
cheers

its not working
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, they don't show up. When I look it up in astro file manager it says the directory is empty. I'm launcher pro plus on moto droid.

Two Requests
Think you could throw together a calendar and/or video camera icon?

move them from where you saved them after the download to the dcim folder through astro manager.. then custom icon in folders youll see it.. thats how i did it and it worked.. as a newbie to all this im happy i got it to work

[Q] Icons

I just got my phone and im wondering how to change the icons. I changed the ones on my dock using LauncherPro, but is it possible to change ALL the icons at once? Including applications (Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Gtalk, etc.)
There are a few apps (you'll need to have your icons already). Desktop Visualizer is one that I know of.
I have the icons I want to use already and I also tried Desktop Visualizer, when I click to find the icons, it says nothing is found. But I can see all the icons in the gallery.
So, you click on DV from the app launcher then Select Icon > Image File and it does not immediately open your gallery?
Correct, it says icon pack not found. Is it possible to do ALL icons at once, or do you have to do them one by one?

[Q] Top 10 must have apps

Hi guys new to the forum and new to android, should be getting my LG tomorrow . I was wondering what your top ten apps are for the LGo 2x. I did see some other threads for other phones but maybe because of the awsome power you would be using other apps for this one ?
Or after rooting what shoud be the first apps to install ?
Anyway thanks in advance for the advise..

There's no need to use Chrome - you could use it for Firefox with Fox2Phone. It uses the official extension, just makes it usable in Firefox.
Out of interest: Why are you recommending Dolphin Mini? The 2x has no problems with handling Dolphin Browser HD which I am currently using - is there a reason to switch?
