[Q] Disable Auto airplane mode - Touch Diamond2, Pure Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So here's the issue:
My pure now goes into auto airplane mode whenever I turn the screen off. The wi-fi used to come on whenever I turned the screen back on, but now just airplane mode...
Any ideas?

Ok, maybe a need to remap the buttons is the issue. I will report back.
The issue is resolved as Wi-Fi turns on automatically when I come out of sleep mode. Only thing I did was remove Gaz's Touch Tools.

[Q] How do I turn airplane mode immediately upon power on?

I want to use my SGS (for games and movies) while flying.
When we board the plane, we are asked to turn off all electronic device. No problem
After reaching high altitude, we can now use electronic devices BUT must turn off data, wifi, and cell signal. This is where the problem occurs. After turning on the phone, the phone immediately searches for signal and I am unable to turn on airplane mode until about 30 seconds after the splash screen load up.
Is there any way to enable an option where as soon as we press power button (from when phone is off) we are giving a choice to turn on airplane mode or turn phone on to be use as a regular phone?
turn flight mode on before you turn off phone. it should start up with flight mode on. Also install one of them flight mode widgets from market. Quick and simple
Why not using a pincode?

Cool thanks! I didnt realize turning the phone off while it's on flightmode means it will retain flightmode status when power on again.
or just put flight mode on before you get on plane and ignore the fact its still on?
anyways, they say it only needs flight mode on, you need to turn them off.
You don't have to unlock your sim before using it ? Because what I do is instead of entering my pin I hold power button and set it to airplane
There is no danger of turning your phone on for 30 seconds on a Plane.
Just turn your phone on and switch to flight mode.
EDIT: If it is imperative that you start the phone in flight mode, take the SIM out.

[Q] Airplane Mode problems?

After I turn off airplane mode (in order to start calling) and try calling someone, the call screen goes from green to red immediately, without me pressing anything. Has anyone experienced this problem or can help me fix it? My phone is running CyanogenMod 6.10.

4.3 Sleep mode and 4.2.2 Sleep Mode

Just updated to 4.3 on my HTC one.
I am glad HTC nows allow us to manually set the Sleep time (to turn off data)
However, i dunno how to turn the feature "on"
in 4.2.2 We turn on Sleep mode by clicking On
In 4.3, When i turn Sleep mode OFF, i can set the time manually or "Learn sleep mode"
however, when i turn Sleep mode ON, i cannot set anything.
So am i suppose to leave it ON or OFF?

Screen timeout issue seemingly caused by activating airplane mode

I recently tried activating and deactivating airplane mode on my Galaxy S10 5G to reset my data connection, which was having issues. When I did, the phone's screen timeout somehow set itself to a setting that normally doesn't exist (see attached screen shot). This causes the screen to go black almost immediately when there's no activity. Since happening the first time, my phone keeps defaulting to this setting, usually when charging it overnight. The setting disappears of I select another option and exit the menu, but keeps showing up again whenever it defaults back or I activate airplane mode again. Does anyone have any clue what's happening here?
