i've already instaled zune software and also i created an live ID account!
but i have problem,i can't see the downloaded programs in my phone although they successfully installed in zune software!
Tap the arrow at the top right of the Start Screen, all your apps are listed there, except games which are in the Games / XBox Live hub.

Does somebody has experience with the Tunes Remote app and ITunes9?
I am able to connect to my Itunes and all the artists load. When I click on an artist I see his albums and the number of songs on this album, but when I open an album I get the message that there are no songs in this album. If I long press an album I can play the songs in it and the name and track information displays on screen. I can also skip songs etc. Is this normal behavior or just ITunes 9 related?
Does somebody also has used this app to control his apple tv? I am thinking about buying one.

I can't even get it to connect.. It wont find any shared libraries, and manual connection makes it see the android in iTunes, but after entering the pairing code 0000, it just disconnects, and starts the pairing again...
Anybody got it actually working, on itunes 9, on OSX?

I got the same problem... I start up TunesRemote (when my Hero is connected to WiFi), and my phone starts to search for libraries... it searches ... and it searches ... and it just keeps searching ! I doesn't give me any results or errors (like he couldn't find any libraries, or..) or anything!
Too bad, but ah well.. I still have the controls on my macbook although, I hope this will be fixed in an update. I don't know if this update has to come from Apple (of so, little change it's gonna happen ) or from the app itself... I'm guessing the app ? Anyone ?

Same problem here in OS X. Searching finds nothing, manual sees it in iTunes but doesn't pair on the phone. So I switched to GMote. It works.
Even tho I'm sitting here with a Desire, I guess I found the solution, noone essentially posted on the net yet. I kinda know, cause I've been trying to get the Tunes Remote working for 2 days straight now.
But I solved it. Or let me say, google did.
Here's what I had to do to make sure everything turns out fine:
(number 2a is the step most likely responsible for all the fuzz. But I tell you my whole journey)
1) itunes
a] share my library in the local network (settings -> sharing)
b] activate my computer in iTunes in the store to share content (yes, it needs an account. try it without. i don't know)
c] make itunes search for remotes (settings -> at the bottom)
2) computer (I have windows XP sp2)
a] deinstall bonjour
b] reinstall a clean bonjour (google bonjour print download) and make sure it's running (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> services)
c] essential: open the bonjour-necessary port 5353 (take the instructions from ehow regarding "How to manually open ports in Windows XP". and kill window's firewall. it's whack anyway)
3) handset
a] install Tunes Remote (you should know jsharkey's site by now) (you need to allow non-market apps)
b] start it and manually enter your computer's IP in the options (your IP can be found via ipconfig: run "cmd" and type ipconfig)
4) your home
a] enjoy control your itunes from anywhere
Hope this helps any of you guys who struggled and got angry at the no-help state of google regarding this topic. All in all it's been a really aggravating road, but the road ended in success and a proper itunes remote
I've got Tunes Remote working and I love it, but it doesn't stay paired once you shut down either the app or iTunes. Anyone got a fix on how to keep things paired (make iTunes and the app remember eachother so you don't have to pair them EVERY TIME you start iTunes)?
Hey, i have trouble installing the youtube app for X1.
I used this tutorial:
- In order to get things moving, you’ll need an X1 (obviously), the YouTube application for your device (originally for the HTC Touch HD) and of course the YouTube panel itself. You can find the YouTube application for the X1 right here, and the panel is available here. Install the application first, and the panel after that. You might also need to run this installation file, if the panel is not working. If you’re using a non-English X1, you’ll have to check the comments below for a work-around. -
+ i modified the file in windows folder of my X1 from 0409 to 0413 (dutch code)
the application starts and loads perfectly but then says with every video 'cannot play video' after few seconds of loading time.
It has nothing to do with 'lack of edge/3G/wifi connection because i used this app before i did a hard reset on my phone. but now it wont work again

I am new here...Hi! Wondering if you can help me out? I am new to to Windows Phone software (a recent Apple convert!) and am struggling a little with a couple of things:
1 - Getting the phone to appear on my computer as an external device so i can just drop some videos on to it, i have sync'd the phone to no avail!?
2 - Getting previous digital copies of films which were put onto my external HDD through iTunes, when i view them in my computer they show up with the Zune logo,then when you try to play them, it says cannot play, burn or sync this protected file code - C00D11E7. But Zune says it accepts .m4v files?!

1 - You cannot use it as an external device. You can sync photos, videos, songs through Zune. Just open Zune, let it access the folders where you keep the stuff u want it to sync into your phone. Then through the contents, drag folders or files you want into the phone logo at the bottom left hand corner and it will sync in. The reason they do this is to minimise risks of virus or things to get into your phone I guess.
2 - Dunno about iTunes files as not an Apple fan. but i have been syncing videos in to my HD7 with no problems. I guess maybe your vids are locked by iTunes only to be played by Apple apps?
I have a GT and 5 minutes ago i tried to launch Market Place to see if i have any updates, and then, when i reached the Applications Section which it show which applications i have on my Tablet it shows me only Youtube and Google Maps, i have a lot of games and applications installed but only Google Maps and Youtube application show me the Market! I'm using stock version of Froyo!

I have the stock Mango update 7.10.7720.68 for my t-mobile usa HD7. I was under the impression that with HTML9, you would stream online video similar to what Flash is capable of. An example would be a website like ebaumsworld.com, I cant stream anything.
Secondly, where is the screen that shows the programs running simultaneously? There is a Background Task setting but states I do not have anything that runs in the background, even though I have Angry Birds installed.
When i exit Angry Birds, with the game paused, I cannot resume. I dont know what is going on, but is this only included with the new BETA that was released for Mango?

for multitasking you press the 'back arrow key' you will see the last 5 apps you used.
wp7 doesn't support flash like apple
Also was reading that only mango specific aps will be able to use the multitasking, right? Because even with NoDo, you were able to press back and see what you were doing.
I'm talking about using programs, then going to home, then resuming the programs. Like when you pause angry birds in Android, do something else, then go back to angry birds and you're still at the same spot.
