My headphones stopped working a while back... when i plug them in the headset symbol comes up and the media plays through the phone's speaker... i'm on 162 now... everytime i'd go into the irc to ask for help on it, someone would always end up being a douche so i just stopped caring
Well it does. The phone is running cyanogen rom.

pretty sure he's referring to the app "louder volume hack" by meltus. just search for meltus on the market. or there is a maual version, check out androidaudiohacks.com . no idea if either works

ive read there is a code that can be punched into the dialer to bring up the settings
the version i found just shuts down the dialer
maybe its the wrong code for our devices
The only thing I wish I could increase the volume of is the external speaker. Meltus' app doesn't appear to do that.

I'm running CM6.0/FroYo and that isn't an available option.
Copied from another thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15406689
"I am surprised at the lack of information and help on the net for this issue. The in-call volume, and the speakerphone, are very quiet. Forget the radio and driving with the windows down, a moderate breeze is enough... I press the phone hard against my ear and still don't catch everything.
I've used CM's DSP manager to boost the speaker signal, and this isn't enough.
Even with full volume & the DSP boost, there is very little crackle. It's as if the speaker is barely utilized.
I haven't met anyone else with an Aria, but every other Android phone I've seen works perfectly fine as, you know, a phone."
There must be a way to overdrive the speaker, right?
Hi .
Audio via USB on P6800 works only with "USB AUDIO RECORDER PRO" APPS.
Question:
Is there any online radio player that can send audio to USB ? (I mean to 30-pin)
I have updated via Kies to android 4.0.4, kernel 3.0.15
Thanks
They all do send to USB, its just that yyour receiver does not properly pick it up
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda app-developers app
Whar receiver do you use?
Pc
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda app-developers app
What do you mean "PC"?
I'm talking to connect TAB to DAC to listen internet radio on the go,and there is ONLY "USB AUDIO RECORDER PRO" that sends audio to USB.
Is there any other player that can send radio streams to USB ? If someone know it please share it here.

Well actually all I see there are 88 visitors but no one with answer.
I'm just want to able listen online radio via external DAC, that's all.
And it's only one app can do that but it's just a player.
because no one knows... i mostly use aux audio cable...
Why dont you use aux =))
Sent from my GT-P6800 using xda app-developers app
Because the main goal is to take "audio digits" out of USB and process signal out of noise tablet environment.
I know some ROM has build those driver in but not clear that yet.I post another question about it where is over 100 views with no reply.
No im the only one herw, talk to me

I'm just trying to find the way to get USB audio without flashing custom ROM with tons of bugs.
I also post question for P6800 owners and looks like no one succeed with USB audio.
No there isnt =))

Ok found you answer, daniel cm10.1 :d

Maybe, but flashing buggy custom ROM with tons of other issues in 99.9%,does not sounds right.
I flashed custom ROMs countless time on other devices and NEVER EVER seen bugless ROM.
Hi all
I hope someone can help. I have a old galaxy. I was wondering if there was a ROM without phone and email and the like. All I want it for is a digital radio player and spotify client. I know that I can instaal slimbean and then begin removing apps etc. But was just a thought that. There may be a ROM out there that fillls my needs
Thanks

It really depends, to satisfy your needs you'd need a rom that pretty much doesn't have telephony working at all yet media working. Its pretty dangerous taking a rom and then removing apps such as the dialer because then things have a tendency to REALLY screw up (or maybe that's just stock).
Probably the experimental ubuntu touch would be one of your best choices.

Just received notice in email yesterday of DFX's new Android music player with their sound enhancing ability built into it. Not sure if this pertains to your query here or not though.

Do you have Viper installed as a normal app or did you push to /system/app? Only reason I ask is back on my HD & M it was hit or miss when I just installed it. Once i actually pushed it to /system/app is worked like a charm.

Hello!
I'm trying to use this app but i can't! I'm using this version: http://d-h.st/H4x or from the official thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059296), Spirit Free September 18. But when i start the app it shows me a messagem from a danger speaker and i only have, "Cancel", and "Danger" options! No "Digital"... If i click "Cancel" it goes to a loading screen that never loads and if i config like some posts back i can't change the frequency. I'm using CM 10.2. Any clues?
Thanks! And sorry for my english...
works fine via headphones but not via speaker

Hi, has any of you managed to get spirit1 to output the sound to the phones speaker?
I tried selecting speaker as the output and also "clicking" on the headphones icon in the interface but all it does is a click noise and keeps playing the radio throught the headphones an not the phones speaker.
