Ok, so I got the new market, along with the updated book & video apks that go with it...
The books work great, however the video app will not work on rooted devices (returns that specific error message)
Warning: market will let you purchase a video, just not play it!

is anyone else finding it impossible to update an app when it is the only one that needs to be updated?? if it is multiple updates then you can update all but if it is only one there isnt an update button.

Well, just like before you have to go in the app and hit update. It wont show above the list of Apps unless you have more than one update ready.

its not showing the update option. that is the problem. it is showing the open option like there is no update when there is

Go to Settings-Applications-Manage Applications- All(Tab)-Market and then clear data, clear cache, and uninstall updates.

Yea I just set it as the default app when it asked. It received the picture but it said the download failed when I tried to download it said downloading forever.

I uninstalled it. The material design is nice but it bothered me that I had to keep the stock message app also. I had the stock app hidden with xposed GEL settings but it was still bothering me. I also uninstalled the Lollipop Gmail app and is now solely running Inbox for email. My fascination with Lollipop has come to an end. Lol

Unfortunately, as Caseyk621 mentioned above, the only way I was able to get the app not to FC was to leave the stock app in there. Maybe something to do with the ROM as it is a hit and miss for lollipop apps at this point and the ways to get the apps to work are different for everyone. As an example, I have not found a way to make the lollipop calendar app to work and I've tried every way imaginable. So, at this point I am over it, back to stability and functionality for me. The rest of the eye candy will come later. Inbox is pretty cool though and is now my daily driver. The new Play Music app is awesome and the new Google Now launcher ties everything together nicely.

It's shows up for me in the play store when searching for it. Motorola mobility is listed as the author.

It doesn't show up for non nexus/Verizon moto devices unfortunately.

Once u update to 5.1 this app will become available

Apk from VVM on 5.1
I pulled the Verizon visual voicemail apk from 5.1 if you want to try installing it. No guarantee it will work. Just figured I'd post it just in case someone is waiting to update to 5.1.

Thanks for this but I can't get it working on my non moto device... Very sad

I haven't updated yet and it shows up for me... Verizon had to release VVM along with the phone

The basic is free on most phones I think. It wasn't on my 2013 moto x, but is on my Nexus 6.

Finally got this to work. I downloaded app from Motorola found on play store. Had to put my nexus sim in my wife's g3 to be able to activate visual voicemail on my account. Set up vvm on the g3. Put sim back in nexus and all is working

They shut it down mess than 12 hours later for me. It was buggy and never really showed me any cards but I hope the launch version fixes this.

lets just wait few more days for Android 6.0 and we have now on tap!

I'm on 5.3.29.19 version on preview 3 and all icons search bar etc. Have been rethemed but still telling to wait for gnot

Well working perfect now tried to screenshot with my above post but had to start a new xda account and can't add images due to low post counts. Have been searching all day for the best 5.1.1 rom to get exposed back but this little jewel might keep me on marshmallow.... But I'll probably change my mind n an hour lol
