I havent saw this in our section yet so here it is.. I take no credit for this, just snagged from www.androidcentral.com. Just push it to system/app or use root explorer and overwrite the existing apk
Disclamer:If your child turns into a troll or something it's not my fault... runs great with no issues on mine running dk28

Is there more than one wallpaper in the .apk? The zip only included one "Nexus" LWP.

ymmv with the flashable zip but yes u flash it like you would a rom in clockwork...

Apparently on DI18 it just shows up as white lol. Oh well.

booo, sorry... i just know on dk28 (for me) it runs great.

not the real nexus s wallpaper, just a nexus revamped using the nexus s background. Doesn't even run that well. I'll wait for the real deal.

I beg to differ.. runs flawless here

Major point is that this is not really the nexus s wallpaper. And to that end it does not run as smoothly as the original nexus one wallpaper, the nexus s lwp, or even nexus revamped. Still, you are entitled to your opinion, I suggest anyone that doubts me on how poorly this runs to compare them. I have them all installed on my phone, minus the nexus s lwp which hasn't been posted yet.

I'm sorry, I don't want to be That Guy, but how do you theme widgets like that?
The one thing that's been keeping me from using them is a lack of uniformity.

Pull them, edit images, push back into system. Don't worry I will release a flashable zip for the themed widgets.
Here are mine as they go from left to right on my phone.

They're the pictures that I assigned to my Gmail contacts on my computer. They were taken with a 10mp camera.

Correct on the widgets, they were actually started by someone else but lynx took over at one point.
All your system apps will be in system/app and installed or market apps in data/app.
I will release a zip that will push any themed widgets to system/app.

Try this.
As for the scrolling wallpaper its just a bit of maths;
Your screen is 320x480 therefore you wallpaper will be 640x480.
If you set 6 home-screens then it will scroll by 320/5 = 64 pixels.
Make a background that is 640x480 and put a stripe every 64 pixels. 6 home-screens should then scroll the width of each stripe.
Alright..too much procrastination for me today...
Hope you enjoy, If you like it can you post a screeny? Can I use your screens on my blog?

You just need to sign the zip. I have added a zip for AutoSign, very simple to use just rename the target zip 'update.zip', extract the autosign.zip into a folder and put the target zip in it as well and run the exe. I have also added the update zip for the Ubuntu fonts if anyone wants them.
Just out of curiosity, are you planning on porting the other parts of the theme (lock-screen, dialogue boxes e.t.c) or is this purely a notification bar port? Either way, great for the MDPI devices to get some love!

I am wanting to port everything over eventually, but it will take a bit of time and it depends on the interest received from the MDPI users here.

Okay, here is the link to the smart keyboard. and here is the theme http://www.mediafire.com/?yy778k6t2nvltj7. I'd like the keyboard background to be black with fading blue glow around the borders of each key. That's basically all I have for now lol. If you want to add your own touch to it please do.
Ok im out with friends right now, and i think its gonna get late. But tomorrow ill see what i can do
Edit: i think u should remove the smart keyboard link, cause its paid. But im gonna pm it to u as soon as im done.
Edit2: I`ve looked at it and those r all *.9.png`s. To edit them i have to Decompile the apk and Recompile it. And i really have no idea how to compile signed market apps.

Completely forgot about theme chooser, could try doing it with that, but it will take a while cause ive never done that before, another thing i could try is just to make a fake apk to compile the .9.png and see if it works when i put them into the smartkeyboard.apk. ill report when im back on the computer.

Yes, but that only works for .png if u do that with .9.png u mess it up completely. The only thing u could do with .9.png is to let them run through a specific script (read the name somwhere on the net but cant remember) and just change the rgb values. Besides that i never tried it and cant tell if it works, theres still the problem, that u couldnt just make blue outlines on the keys or fade the bg from black to blue.
If u've been able to do that, tell me how, coz i never got .9.png to work without compiling them in an app.

That's why I was so confused on why you guys were trying to modify the skin of the keyboard from the .apk. The actual application supports themes that makes it easier. It's like trying to reskin CM7 when there's a built-in theme manager. Just use the theme manager, it gets the job done easy and quick.
Enjoy.

ICS One Stop Shopping OP Updated 11/9/11

Hi everyone, I'm throwing this thread together for those of you who want to get the most out of ice cream sandwich there is for our vibrants right now. This is a collection of everything i used to get my ICS experience. I take no credit for any of this, I'm simply creating a place to get everything ics easily.
GalnetMIUI ICS Development Build 1.11.2 (T959)...http://www.4shared.com/file/ibOL49rq/IcsVibrant1112fixed.html (LINK FIXED)
Credit goes to : http://www.galnetmiui.co.uk/landing/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=13
ICSlauncher...http://syndicateapps.com/main/index_files/ICS_4.0_Launcher_Rebuildv2_1.apk
Credit goes to : http://syndicateapps.com/main/index.html
MIUI ICS theme (to replace status bar icons, etc.) http://www50.multiupload.com:81/fil...E3DC5088E0F42EA/Black+Ice+by+cgvelmax+1.8.mtz
Credit goes to xda user cgvelmax, OP here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318364
Awesome kernel by Eugene to fix wifi and add ffc. http://t.co/GHSnySJu
Credit for this one, of course goes to Eugene.
Directions... Download everything you need from above. Place them all on the root of your sd card, EXCEPT the MIUI theme. Place the MIUI theme in the "theme" folder located on your sd card in your MIUI folder... sdcard>miui>theme.
Do a nandroid back up, then a factory wipe. Format system and cache. Flash ICS vibrant fixed. Before rebooting, flash Vibrant ICS.. Fix permissions. Reboot.
Now, to set your theme. After your done with the above steps and are booted up, go to "themes" app. Look for "black ice" and hit apply.
Your almost done. Next open your favorite apk manager (I use astro) and search for ics launcher. Install ics launcher and presto! your done. Restore your back ups as usual and dance around the room. Now all your friends will be jealous that you have ics (sort of) and they dont.
Make sure you follow all the credit links i have provided and thank everyone! I am only the messenger. These guys deserve a standing ovation, or maybe a pepsi at least?
Please let me know if any links stop working or if I have missed something. Thanks! Enjoy!
Here is the youtube.apk as per request. I havent tested this yet. I assume it needs tweaking before it will run on our phones. Here it is anyways. If someone wants to test it and let me know, Ill pull it if it isnt compatible. Good Luck!!... http://www.4shared.com/android/RxSQ6lZW/YouTube.html
Is there any way you can upload the ics YouTube that can work on the vibrant

That's just an emulator launcher, it's not the real, official ICS launcher.
I'm pretty sure devices with buttons won't have those.
BTW, the GalnetMIUI ICS is not real ICS. IT is GB with ICS framework merged into it.

Lolol, I'm a loser.
Going out with my girlfriend in a little, when I come back, I'll link you guys to everything. <3
I'm also running a full ics experience. I have a JVT simply stock rom with ICS theme that I found in the i9k theme section. I also have an ADW theme to emulate the icons as well. I'll post screens and links if anybody wants them later when I get to a computer.

EOS Bootanimation

***UPDATED as of 01/19/11***
Here's a link to the newest version. I fixed the issue where wallpaper reset upon use. It seems to be related to using .pngs in the bootanimation. Never heard of it before, but it means I have to use .jpgs, meaning we'll have to suffer with a bit lower resolution:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24772203/bootanimationEOSfinal.zip
Hey everyone, I spruced up the EOS bootanimation included with the ROM a bit. One is just smaller, one is smaller and has a bit of a glass effect on the spinner. I'll keep messing around with it, but thought I'd throw it up for now in case anyone's interested. I'm no photoshop expert, still learning, but hope you like them.
All the credit for original design goes to the EOS team, I've just modified it to my taste.
