question about themes....

hi, im new on here...not quite sure if im even posting this in the right section.... i had just had my phone rooted....and i was lookin into putting a theme into the phone....i been reading up on it and i read that something about rc something....that u have to dl a theme that is for that "rc" watever..im not quite sure what that is...anyone have any idea??? and also if i do apply a theme onto the phone if i didnt want it anymore how about would i do that?.....

Make sure the theme is for the rom you are using.
To get the original theme back, just flash the theme template or the rom again.

Well when it comes to themes they are specific to the rom you're using. For example (assuming you're using Cyan4.0.4) if you flash a theme for JACxRom when you're using Cyan 4.0.4 it won't work. You'll need to flash a rom for Cyan4.0.4. The roms are usually labeled and talk about what they're compatible for.

Are you on regular nexus or sprint 4G? I'm not sure if it matters, but I run sprint and if you go into the development section and find the thread: [ROM] *CDMA* NS4G Deodexed/Accurate battle 5/12/11 and go to the last 4 or 5 pages he has a link for one. Just flash it in recovery and that's it. If your not on Sprint you might want to check if it is safe to flash first. Hope that helps a little.

HTC Desire Skins need help !

Hey guys,
im a new member and I got not so much experience with my HTC Desire HD.
The skin / Theme of this mobile phone looks boring so I want a new skin, but I dont know how i can install it. I already read the tutorials, but there are so much strange words and programms I never heard from.
Can anyone help me please :S
Do i need a flash?

Without rooting, you could search the market for sense 2.1 skins - some are free. (Or use the default HTC Skins) and go to Personalise>Skins>[Skin]. You could also get some skins on XDA (However most are for sense 3.0/3.5. Look for a sense 2.1 skin - not a theme)
With rooting, you could flash a themed ROM such as coredroid, or flash a theme pack such as blue glass. There's quite a few guides here on how to root pretty much any desire hd version (Go to "settings>about phone>software info" to check). They shouldn't be that difficult to understand.

umm I got version 2.3.3 can i put the free 2.1 skins on it??
I read the guides, but I am scared whether it could danger my HTC.

You must read posts more carefully:
314 said there were skins for Sense 2.1,not for Android version 2.3.3. you said.
Now,in every thread you have detailed guides how to flash.Flashing can be dangerous,but do a backup and you're fine.You need a rooted phone and the Clockworkmod Recovery,then flashing is easy.All you have to do is to put your phone in Recovery mode and flash zip from sd card.

whats the different between sense 2.2 and android 2.3. Are there some skins for android 2.3?

bugs in Android Revolution 31.0

hello evryone .
i unlock and root my device and flashed the ARHD 31.0 on my htc M7 .
i have to say that its amazing rom and it's going really smooth .
but i have found one problem that really bugs me and i really hoping one of you guys can help me with that .
when ever i am opening a contact and I want to edit or link it to Facebook for example, or picture from gallery and i want to share it or make it my wallpaper, those 3 points in the upper right page does not working at all.
And I can't make any changes!!
i am using super user and Xposed , maybe its one of those that making the problems but i really tried evrything

"those 3 points in the upper right page does not working at all." that's usually caused because animations is disabled, go back to settings -> developer options -> advanced -> and enable Animation

Do the other buttons work ? Does the touchscreen work in that area when it is not the menu option ?
Either way, reinstall (clean) and see if it fixes itself :good:

OK, it's working... unbelievable. Thanks very much. But know if I am opening en app, and pushing on the home button it's taking one or two seconds an till all the clock widget and apps showing. Why is it like that?? It's suppose to fly

so im selling my htc one and the rom i got on now is "android revoulution" so because im selling my phone i want to change it back to stock rom. can anyone give plz a link to download ? i searched and dident find nothing.
and onother question. if i put a stock rom, will it update regullery and autamatic as if i bought the phone like that ? tnx in advvvvvvv
