Just thought id give the HD7 community a heads up on this new app in the marketplace. It must have just been posted because I check the market often. It allows watching of YouTube videos in HQ even on 3G =) thanks HTC!
Care to tell us what its called or how you found it? I just looked in the market and I'm not seeing anything new...
it's just named youtube. i went into apps>all>new and it's about 10 down between GPS4Me and Sonicasting.

Now that video is being rolled out to the masses, does anyone here have any inside info on these two services making their way to the G1? I know some hacked iPhones have this ability already, but I think those are special cases.
I am hoping one of the live video sites puts something out soon. Stickam has the viewer app out so far which lets you watch live streams. When I emailed them to find out about them bringing their mobile broadcaster to android I got no response. Qik hasn't responded to any questions about the G1 or android in the past few weeks on their getsatisfation page. Where I see you are active.
Seems like it is a waiting game which sucks. I am tired of mobile broadcasting using a laptop and webcam.

Get it in the market, create an account and you can stream live or post private videos from your phone! The delay is only about 5 seconds on Wifi, haven't tryied the live on 3g. Also, on Qik.com, you can watch other people's videos!

I did search, "qik android" and "qik g1" and through 5 pages I looked, mine was the only thread with qik in the title. 1 other thread mentioned it and it was called "G1 Webcam". Thereview was just on Phonedog...thought I would share. On the other hand, its a pretty cool app! To view your live stream, go to http://qik.com/username and your video will show up.

I was wondering if anyone has any info on a Directv Sunday Ticket app for Android? Directv recently released info regarding the NFL Sunday ticket being available to watch games on your phone live. Currently it appears this app is only available on the Iphone & a couple of Windows mobile phones. Was wondering if anyone had was working on converting the app for Android, and creating a similar app?

Was super interested as well.
There forums had a response stating Iphones popularity blah blah if Android demand was there etc etc.
They seem open to it and at least we know its not something stupidly contractual.
btw I didnt have G1 during football season. Are there any football/NFL related apps that would interest me ?
NFL network on sprint was always really choppy and NFL mobile was a clusterfu!! of terrible slowness. Im hoping going away from PPC shows some decent apps.
There's a free "Pro Football" app by Plusmo, Inc. that's definitely worth a download. Esp if youre a fantasy player.

myp2p.eu works real good for you have to go to nfl live link and find the web stream or it well ask for a plug-in but im going to try the other ones as well and it might just be on thursday night

Edit: There's a couple of different commercials and stuff for Xoom, but only one of them seem to show a game, one that seems like it's a sci fi plane fighting game. Unfortunately, I don't think it exists, but I can't be sure I saw the right video, I would still like if you could post the video!
